Good morning - THINK FIRST THURSDAY... I am thinking - and will need a few extra minutes to throw a salad together for lunch. Still never got the eggs cooked! Maybe tonight? Ken did get the produce chopped last night - so I can easily make a salad or two for today (and tomorrow)!
I went back and tracked the rest of the dinners, etc., that had not been tracked yet - still OK with Weekly Bites left... earned some Activity Bites that have not been used - still not feeling like I am in control though! This weekend I NEED to focus on what I can have here for meals/snacks, that will help me keep my focus!
Yesterday at work I got that MAJOR "project" DONE! UGH! What a mess! But now it's done, and I got more settlements done - so today looks to be a fairly good day ahead! Tomorrow Deb is out, and Kaitlin is leaving early - so there goes the end of my week! Of course today also starts the Thursdays that K leaves EARLY every Thursday... to get home for dinner, and change before her pottery class! It's not "that" early, it's just the principal (for me)... anyway... IT IS WHAT IT IS! Moving on!
Need to refill my coffee - BRB ♥

Sue: WOW Yes a lot for one day - but Eh, it IS only the one day!! That's what the WEEKLIES are for! Hoping you found Chili's a nice night out.
Gabrielle: YAY for the skunky smell being almost gone. LOL You are going to spoil them - assuming they don't mind the baths??
OH dear - very long (boring) day with so many meetings yesterday!
I probably should print out my 0 point foods list, although I am sure I should know them by now? But in my tracker... it asks if it is a FREE food, or a FILLING Food??
Oh yes - our "reviews" are "interesting" to say the least! I am expected to check which "rating" I think I deserve, and write an explanation of WHY I think I deserve it. Then Crystal gets it - and she can agree or disagree and write her explanation. Then it goes to Josh... his comments are ALWAYS " I agree with what Crystal says" (not sure he even reads them). Then it goes back to Crystal - and she and I will "meet"... usually just read over hers and Josh's comments, no real discussion. Then HR gets it and decides on our evaluation results and what percentage pay raise we get. Then on or around (usually many weeks after) my hire date (October 13) Josh will call me in his office and give me the END RESULT! He will have the rate increase signed by HR and himself... Then at some point before the end of the year I actually SEE the pay raise in my paycheck. Seems a very lengthy process!
LOL Thanks for the offer - but - I actually don't mind doing my part... and I'll be honest, I choose the highest ranking available! Do I think I am "perfect"? Certainly not... but IMHO I look at it as a way for them to HAVE to talk to me... let them EXPLAIN why THEY think I am working at less that what I think I am! LOL That's on THEM... but I have also found that they don't usually "argue" with my thoughts or comments! HA!
Jo: Oh dear... That would be a hard choice... I'd probably go with the same Dr., if it was a quicker answer to feeling better! I mean it wasn't his "error" that makes you need a new one right?? {{{hugs}}} Good luck ♥ I am pretty sure your Dr will understand with all you have gone through, but hey - if meds are needed "for now" take them... then maybe after you have some time, you can then work towards the losing weight... PCP can ALWAYS take you OFF meds if they are no longer needed!
We meet with our financial planner next month... was supposed to meet in April (?) But with working from home, and he wasn't working at all... I am finally getting back around to making the appointment! Do you have anyone in mind to go to?? My next quest is to find a lawyer... yup... still haven't done our wills - and we said a while back we wanted to do that - just never followed through! Hate to spend the $$! LOL
We also have to make changes to our life insurances... take Matthew off as a beneficiary... I have the paperwork - just can't seem to get myself to follow through with that either!
Hang in there my friend {{{hugs}}}, you have gone through a LOT in a short matter of time... cut yourself some slack... but mostly do what you need to do to take care of your health. You are no good to your family - if you get sick!

Came home yesterday feeling so darned TIRED... was in bed - TV OFF before 8 PM... slept good I think, but still feel "off". My PCP is still not seeing patients in the office, so for now, I guess I just muddle through!
OK time to get moving here... like I said I have to throw a salad together for my lunch. I also need to figure out something for a late breakfast/snack. Dinner will NOT be "Bite" Friendly, so need to make my lunch bag as "light" as I can!!
♥hugs♥

Good morning!
I have a few minutes before getting out of here to meet a friend to run nearby...it's dark but nice to have a person to run with. Wow, I am tired today--I think that it is "sympathy exhaustion" --- DH has been out in the vineyard since 9:00 pm as they have been harvesting the syrah. The winery told him to go ahead and pick it (still have not heard their results yet of the testing)...the pickers got here at about 8:45 pm and they have worked all night. They choose this timing to keep the grapes cool for the trucking and so that it is cooler for the workers too. I kept waking up and looking to see if he was finished yet....long night and glad that it is Thursday and not Monday!
Carole: I guess that, since your review is tied to a raise, it makes more sense. Ours are just required annual reviews (due to contracts, etc) and raises are built into the salary schedule for years of service. You have periods of years with no raises (unless there is cost of living, etc). Glad that you get a raise out of it! It does sound like it moves through a lot of hands though! Good job with your tracking....and I think that it takes a while to figure out all of the organization, don't you? You will do it--just work on tracking for now, okay? Yay for Ken getting the produce done! Wow, all of our doctors and dentists are back and taking patients--I had to go yesterday for my TB test (required for an educator every two years). There were people in the waiting area spaced apart and masked. I hope that you have a good day---hey, if they support taking a class, maybe you can find a class or activity that you would like to do one or two evenings a week and do that? Give it some thought!
Jo: I am SO sorry...too much going on with you but wondering. Maybe one of the doctors can refer you to a counselor or therapist who can be a person you can talk to about all that is going on? It is so obvious that you need some support! I wonder if you asked? Sounds like it is time to make a list and try to figure out what to do first ---one thing at a time. Hugs to you, my friend.
Okay, time to get ready...I am still feeling so badly for DH --he must be SO tired! Have a good day ladies!

Evening all....got gas, stopped at the store, got the bacon in the oven and got on the Cubii....able to do 30 minutes while the bacon was cooking, then opted for lettuce wrapped BLTs and skipped the bread...already WAY over in "bites" because of the leftover quesadilla so figured saving on bread was worth it...
Today was my 1st official WI and I was down .6#....not much but will take it...got a long way to go to get back to my pre-COVID/pre-furlough weight and I will do it!! Baby steps....I know it will be a while until I got my tracker looking good but if I improve my choices each day and really focus on the portions I can do it....I haven't been eating really bad food, just too much of it!!
Carole...I always did my WI on the day my week started....when I joined ITB it started on Sunday so I changed my start day to Thursday...if you go under Profile then hit the the settings gear icon in the corner it brings that page up.....I only have it on my phone and tablet too but it's actually pretty easy to maneuver once you get the hang of it. I have to add some favorites...now I just used the recently added.
I do know Carole that in CT/MA the restaurants are 50% capacity we are only 25% capacity so there are a lot of empty tables in ours...that is changing next week when PA changes to 50% capacity!! LOL...I will be flying to NE as long as I don't have to quarantine when I get back....I will NOT miss Christmas if I don't have to!!
Carole....sorry your week to "catch up" with everyone at work is NOT working out as planned!! Yes....sing your own praises on your performance review....for all you do to cover everyone's back and pick up the slack with things get botched....you save them over and over!!
Gabrielle...glad the skunky smell is improving....I heard Dawn helps!! I don't blame you for not wanting to get soap in their eyes...I'm sure they look pretty and fluffy!! Gabrielle...are their 0 point foods list in "bites" or are you talking WW 0 point foods?? From what I remember, many seem to be similar but some "bites" seem much higher!! I was tempted to switch to all calories in a few weeks to see how I measure up there...I know MFP was always calories....will play with it....I have a year since I paid the $29 reduced offer for one year I can see what works for me.....this does seem more flexible with plans and tracking metrics.
Gabrielle/Carole...Shea has said that there has been a lot of focus on the air filtration systems in plane because it is true, the confined places will be a grounds for germ spread and many do get sick after flying but then again, did the get the germ ON the plane or just before they went on a trip as many viruses take days to manifest symptoms??? The air is filtered every 2-4 minutes depending on the system...add masks and no middle seat...I'm confident that I'll be fine on a SW plane!!
Gabrielle...I will admit...I'm not quite ready to venture to a movie theater....they say that ushers will be monitoring to make sure during the movie people have their masks on but it's dark? Honestly, I'd rather wait until it comes On Demand and watch it from home where I DON'T have to wear a mask!! LOL!!
Jason is currently building his BLTCPMMs....yes, he really ruins a perfectly good BLT!! LOL!!
Jo...sorry Wednesday was a rough one....never good to get bad news from any doctor! I agree with Steve...you did not have the sling done that long ago and the fact it needs to be redone seem odd. Maybe just a different urologist...like any type of doctor....some or more thorough and examine all options before jumping to a treatment! Maybe your PCP will cut you a little slack in light of what you have gone through in the last several weeks and let you keep working on the weight for a bit before opting for meds....
If total abstaining isn't possible right now...focusing on cutting WAY back....maybe in a week or two you can abstain for 30 days.....don't beat yourself up!!
OK...Jason wants the computer so need to share...waves Jenny, Christine, Lisa, Nadine, Shelly and anyone else I might have missed....sleep well my friends....see you in the morning!
