This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
All are welcome!

Good morning friends & happy Saturday!
Plans are pretty basic for today. We're making a big grocery run, then stopping by Publix on the way back for a treat of a pack of their unbreaded spicy wings for a late lunch/early supper this afternoon.
It's very grey and overcast this morning and right now a chilly 62 degrees. I love, love, love it! And coffee tastes extra good this morning.
I'm hoping for a really good day for all with plenty of relaxation, rest, productivity, activity or whatever it is that you're hoping your day holds!

Good morning! Happy Saturday. Lora, sounds like a similar Saturday for me. Except for your perfect weather, sounds like a nice and cozy day! Today we are going to church in person, together, for the first time since the pandemic started. We're also going Italian for our date meal today (I think). I have lesson planning today and minutes to type up from the Columbiette meeting last Monday, but other than that... it'll be a relaxing day. WI was this morning and I lost 1 pound... which is the right direction. I had a tough day staying OP one day this week, so am glad I still have a loss. I hope everyone has a super day!!

Jill - Congrats on your WI! Enjoy your in-person worship services. I bet it will seem a little strange, and yet also comforting. Glad you're able to get to do that. We just confirmed social plans. Yay! We're meeting some friends tomorrow night at a pizza small family owned (hole in the wall) place in the city. They make a crustless pizza in a baking dish and have several different sauces to choose from as well, so I know we'll be able to easily find something good to eat, as well as enjoy our old friends. I'm not sure who all will be there, but one couple we last saw just before shut down started, and another (who live in Florida) we haven't seen since we all lived in Louisiana back in 1993. They're just passing through and will only be in town for the one night. I'm so excited for actual plans! This will also be our first in-house restaurant meal since before shut down. So many firsts this weekend!

Hi Everyone, I am trying to take it easy today. Last night was the beginning of Rosh Hashanah which I observe. I had dinner at my sister's last night with her friend and a friend of the friend. Tonight my nephews and the girlfriend of my nephew as well as my other sister are coming for dinner to my sister who lives close to me. I went over this morning for an online service that Was prerecorded. It wasnt even that long really. Shorter than what it would be if we were there in person.
Lora, hope you enjoy your outing with your friends especially after all this time not going out really. Jill, sounds like me, half work stuff, half relaxing. We have to turn in our lesson plan by Wednesday but I hadnt finished yet but did finish on Thursday. My friend/ coworker is the one who reviews them. She handed it to me and showed me there were a lot of missing outcomes and I know that I had been filling them in. Turned out that when I went back to look at the file I guess that maybe I had made a second copy and that was the completed one. lol! Have a great day!!

Hello Everyone...migraine aura during the night and again this morning...slight headache now. The trip to Boston fell through/makes me sad...but ODD told me that YDD seems to be thinking about driving here for the week since DBF will be in CA for the week and they will both have to quarantine for 2 weeks afterward anyway...getting happy again. ODD sent a text this morning with a pic of her dog and the word "WALK?" That made me smile too and I went to her house and we took a walk with her dog. I went to the clubhouse gym and rode the bike with my mask on (even though there was not another soul in the place). I am about to read/rest - maybe take a nap and see if I can get rid of the headache, then head to Publix to get a few things.
Jill - glad the appt with the Dr went well and YIPPEE for another loss. Two weeks ago our church started in-person services with limited attendance, wearing of masks, etc. We have decided not to try it yet, so we are still watching online...glad you can go....brings some semblance of normalcy back.
Lora - I know you are loving the lower temps. OH how exciting that you get to go out to eat and meet up with old friends! The pizza sounds so yummy... I have enjoyed a very small frozen pizza called REAL GOOD that actually has chicken as the crust...really interesting.
Janet - thinking of you (and Andi, RobinS and any others) as you celebrate Rosh Hashanah. So good that you can still get together with some family during this difficult time.
Waving to Jana and RobinMD
