Another same-same sort of day. I have a book review to write and post today and then another book to start reading...always nice to have a book to read, right?
I think that lunch will include a side dish of okra, the white beans as a puree on either bread or a potato or something and some zucchini...perhaps other things, too? Time will tell on that. It has been almost two weeks since we have gone grocery shopping and I am looking forward to having yogurt and labneh in the house again.
The scale is slow...not sure if it makes a difference to count or not count points for food eaten (Core vs points counting).
Talked to our daughter yesterday and hope to talk to our son's family today.
CHERRY: I can see the benefit of taking a couple of weeks off to think about the future and to relax (for your grandson). It will be interesting to hear what he decides to do with his future.
LYNN: I wish RBD had been able to hold on till the elections were done BUT it is what it is. Your weather sounds divine! What did you decide to eat? Did you get takeout?
BEVERLY: Too funny about the page you posted on not being this one! I think there is a way to follow a person's posts or find them...am almost curious enough to searching
PAM: Enjoy the weekend - may it be pleasant and all that you hope it will be!

Good morning. It is hazy again today and this time I can see it in the hills across the lake. It's going to be windy this afternoon and we may get some showers. We could use the rain.
Yesterday I oven dried some more tomatoes. I also made some more freezer salsa. Today I'll package it up and get it in the freezer. Haven't thought of much else to do. It's not going to be a day for going outside.
Have a good day, beaches.

Hi all!!
I was up early today and decided to make an Irish soda bread from a Bob's Red Mill mix I had. I added raisins and caraway seeds and tried a sliver...it was pretty good. I also made pumpkin pancakes for breakfast from a mix I ordered online...They were good.
Cathy, yesterday I just pulled out some chicken cutlets from the freezer I had previously made and we had those with veggies. My DH also ate the leftover ravioli we had. Today I have a small turkey breast you can cook frozen for three hours. It sounds good to me. I will roast a few potatoes while it is cooking. easy peasy...so sick of cooking!!
DD came up early as she had to go the a friend's child's birthday party. DH ran up to the office to get ready for the week and I am doing laundry...I am bored but will read, I guess.
The weather is lovely here...was 48 this morning and will go into 60's.
Have a great day!

Iām smiling as I see blue sky out my window which is a break from the clouds and smog. Even the mountains can be seen which is a good thing. KOKO will be key as I track every bite, lick and taste. Iām hydrating and focusing on water. Iām house walking and doing my stretches. Iām reminding myself to keep smiling and talking positively to myself. Have a good afternoon beaches full of smiles.
