How do you stay focused on your diet and exercise?

I joined WW in June of 2006 so I have been at this constantly for over 14 years so this has become the way I live now. It would seem awkward to break out of my habits, routines, and behaviors I've built over the years. Also I remind myself that if I gain weight I will have health problems. I still go to WW meetings (virtual) and have online support groups to support me and keep me in the right frame of mind. The Beck book reviews three times a year also keeps me in line.

How do you stay focused on your diet and exercise?
I check in with online groups daily and since May 16 my sister and I have checked in with one another at least twice daily. I have been on and off weight watchers since 1984 so know HOW to lose weight and reached goal twice in the past but maintaining is not as easy...perhaps it will be this time with the help of my daily check-ins with my sister and online friends. As for exercise...have never LOVED exercise but once in the groove with significant days accrued it becomes a habit and much easier and almost enjoyable to look forward to. I think the RESULTS and NUMBERS also help keep me going...increased weights lifted, increasing numbers on the scale, balanced numbers in the food journal with targets met for all three.

I stay focused on my diet and exercise by:
* Journaling and recording foods eaten. * Hanging out on Pro Boards, post and read on Judy's Beck Book thread which I love and reading fantastic stories on WW Connect. * Attending a couple WW Virtual meetings on-line a week. * Six of my family members are doing a weigh-in on Mondays to encourage us to get to our goal! Its interesting because we are all doing different programs and so far my DIL is doing the American Airlines Diet and having great success.

I stay focused by weighing daily, continuing to track my food and exercise with WW and most of all, by participating in the Beck Reviews .
