Shopping took forever and wore my husband out. I thought it was about the same as usual BUT it did take a lot of time. I told my sister about it and she said she read it is better to do more trips and do one thing at a time as it cuts down on the chance for covid-19 contact...you are more likely to sanitize better with one stop than many of them or something like that SO in the future perhaps we will not do all the errands on one day? We will see.
The scale was up a bit today but I am sure it was due to the wine and extra food and points consumed yesterday...it will go down again
CHERRY: How much lotion do you make at one time?
BEVERLY: I know that people here air dry mint for winter...not sure if they dry parsley or basil but do thyme for zaatar.
LYNN: How nice to find a parking place and be able to go up and see your daughter's apartment. I am sure it is comforting to know she is in a nice space that is safe.

Morning friends,
Today, we are getting the remains of the last tropical storm to hit the gulf. I forget the name, there has been so many! Anyway we are getting the rain from it today, nothing forecast heavy, just a steady rain.
The cleaning girls will be here in a bit. I feel lazy letting them clean my house, but not too bad. LOL. They will just clean the little den/tv area first, we will just sit back there while they clean the rest of the house. Usually, we sit on the porch, but too rainy today to do that.
Lynn, I love hearing about your trips into the city! So exciting! I haven't been to Manhattan in years. I doubt that I could walk that far now. Those city people sure can walk. Lol
Waving to all, have a great day everyone.

Good morning. Cathy, for lotion I make either 500 grams or 1000 grams. For my own use (and Roger's) I make 500 grams. It will fill four 4 oz. bottles and one 2 oz. bottle with just a little bit left over. When I was doing craft shows I'd make 1000 gram batches.
Roger came yesterday and did a few things like weed eating and mowing around trees and bushes to make it easier for me to mow the rest of the yard. I was thinking about doing it today, but it is cloudy and there have been a few rain sprinkles. Tomorrow should be better. I have to go to Minot for Clinical Studies tomorrow, but I'm usually back by around 2:00 pm, so I should have plenty of time to mow.
We did get a little rain last night, in form of a thunderstorm, but not nearly enough. It still hasn't frozen since that last frost a couple weeks ago. I have still been picking partly ripe tomatoes off my plant and there are still quite a few green ones on it. The next time it is predicted to freeze I may just pick what is left of the green ones and let the frost take the vine. I will have to dig my carrots one of these days too.
Have a nice day, beaches.

Hello!!
It doesn't look like this pandemic is ending soon. The Metropolitan Opera announced it is closed until September of next year...wow...
I have been futzing around this morning and not really doing anything...haha. Tomorrow my cleaning lady is coming and we will tackle one of my closets...She is very good at organizing...She will come next week to clean...
We are having leftover soup for dinner...easy peasy...and I have no energy to do much except to read today. I am caught up on laundry, so I don't have much hanging over my head.
Nothing much else...have a lovely day, my friends!!

Realized the day is almost over. Itβs been quiet and tracking, as well as hydrating have taken place, and Iβm smiling as I walk around the house. Looking forward to a good nightβs sleep. I will check in in the morning.
