1) Support and love from my husband
2) a home we enjoy
3) the knowledge and strength that I can be present for loved ones and friends (and me!)
My mom died Saturday after a short illness and an intense week of hospice in our home. So I am still processing everything and welcoming a focus on myself.

lizlor, sorry for your loss. 3 good things: living when and where I do. Things are crazy, but so much worse in so many other places. I guess that's two. I'll give my third one to Mr. Lani.

Three good things in my life:
* Grateful for my children who take care of me!
* Happy that I've lost 3.5 pounds of this most difficult last twelve pounds that I've been struggling to lose for a long time.
* We're getting some much needed rain today and the rest of the week, its really dry here!

lizlor, big hugs from down here! Taking care of YOU is most important right now. xo Three Good Things Right Now: 1. This group to support me (sometimes I think we don't realize how much this group does for one another and if it were to be gone, it would be a huge loss to me, and I'm sure to everyone in this group!) 2. A partner who supports me in my endeavors and allows me to do what I want to do. 3. A comfortable home and life. Speaking of which, we are renovating our 1940 kitchen and I am already dreading the time we don't have a kitchen to work in! The place we're using waits until all the basics are in, then they schedule the whole thing to be done in 7-10 days, or so they say. So I'm anticipating 2.5 weeks to be on the safe side, but I hope no more than that. Our fab new pro stove arrived today and will go into the garage until we're ready for it, no point in installing it only to pull it out next month, right? We need to buy the vent hood, and the new fridge, which I'm super excited about! And finalize the design and order the cabinets and countertops. I'm excited, but nervous as I don't take to change, messiness and upheaval very well...And we'll have to live on whatever can be made in a toaster oven for the time the kitchen is out of commission. I told them I need it to be done before Thanksgiving!
