There is truth and a word I didni't like in this article. It is true that we will make DECISIONS (not mistakes) that will impact our weight loss. I think that the word mistake is negative and I prefer to think that they are choices with impact and every choice has a consequence. I will make the choice to indulge knowing I will gain weight as a result but also know that I will follow that decision with the next one that will balance things out.
Just a comment.
I also talk about this with my sister...

cathygeha, I agree. Everthing is a choice. I agree with Beck on labeling some thinking "Mistakes", but that's about it. I also have a quarrel with No Choice - there are helpful and unhelpful choices. I think it's OK to use No Choice when you're first starting out in Beck Land in order to incorporate all these new habits, but it for me at least, it eventually led to all or nothing thinking. Then I had to discard No Choice.
