Good morning everyone.
Phyl, our house is just about the same as yours. I have to take 1 chair out of the living room, for the tree. Our basement, or as some people call them our "lower level", is finished, but none of us adults ever go sit down there. Since there is a computer desk, and our desk top computer down there, the kids go down there sometimes, to play computer games.
Don't know if you noticed, I put the recipe for Crock Pot Candy on yesterday's post, after Marlene asked for it.
Marlene, speaking of weighing in, you are doing so good! Keep it up! I like how you told DH he was going to help and he was surprised!!! Lol, no reason those men can't help out with some of that!!
We got about 2" of snow yesterday. I shoveled, DH blew. What I shoveled was a square of grass next to the driveway, that we are using for parking on christmas day. It is big enough to fit 3 cars. Our 2 will go there, plus 1 more can fit in, then there is more room in the driveway. There will be a total of 4 cars coming here, so that will work.
We are using our big garage for the get together. The grand kids will open their presents in the living room, but the party will be in the garage. DH has a heater we use, and we set up the party area pretty nice. I will take a picture of it, when it is set up, Sunday morning, and see if I can figure out how to upload to here.
Funny how Marlene brought up weight watchers. I decided the other day to take a break from tracking and being worried about those 5 or 8 ounces of weight gain. Since we are going back to the Y the 3rd of January, that is when I will go back to faithfully tracking, and using ITrackbites. I have been weighing in every Friday on that app, just to keep a record of it. I am eating mostly the same things I was while tracking, it is just that on most days, I am not getting any exercise, which is a biggie for me.
Taking all the meats out of the freezer today, and doing house cleaning. It is 30 degrees already, so maybe I will try to take a short walk, maybe just 2 miles. We shall see...
HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!
