Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning all,
Cathy - they changed the luncheon date because of a last minute meeting. Better today anyway. I'll be wearing one of my Christmas sweaters. One of the girls from the other office won't wear hers unless someone else is wearing one.
This is my Friday, 3-day weekend ahead. Woohoo!
Dottie- glad the benedryl helped you get a good night sleep. And I hope you can control the itching soon.
Jill - hope you have a very Merry Christmas too.
Enjoy your day.

Good Afternoon:
We are still awaiting the RN's arrive for today. I had wanted to get out this morning and do a little shopping (just for the fun of it) about 20+ miles away....unique little shops on a cobble stone street kind of thing. Didn't want to go until she had been here so John wouldn't have to get up to answer the door...it's too late to do it anymore today. Don't want to be driving during the rush hour traffic a little later. I didn't pull out the unwrapped gifts and wrapping supplies because I didn't want a mess when she arrived. While I know he needs these visits, they are a pain in my backside when I have so much going on. I have washed two loads of L and one is in the dryer. Dishes were washed, breakfast and lunch has been served.
JOYCE - I used to have some Christmas sweaters, sweatshirts, vests, etc but I don't have much of that any more. Hope everyone had a nice time at the luncheon and that you get to bring home an empty Zita dish. That's great that your 3 day weekend starts in a few more hours. What are your holiday plans?
JILL - I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and only good stuff in 2017. Come and post once things quiet down a little.
Dottie - I suppose you'll be busy on Monday getting the holiday decor taken down and put away. Hope the weather is clear and traffic is light for your return trip to FL.
Ruth - thinking about Carol and praying all went well today for her.

Good evening ladies. I got the wrapping finished today. Then decided on a traditional turkey breast Christmas lunch and we went to Sam's Club & the grocery store. If I think of anything else I need, I still have all day Friday & then Saturday early. Will get the last stockings stuffed in the morning. While sitting and resting this afternoon, I went thru a huge folder of receipts and sorted, filed, and tossed. Lots of paper recycled. Photographed some infant/toddler fleece jackets & posted, meeting a gal tomorrow to sell 1. It's a start. Tonight I'm watching hockey and knitting.
Merry Christmas Jill. We miss you when you are gone. Joy, enjoy your 3 day weekend. I don't have any Christmas sweaters or vests anymore either. Had half a dozen when I worked. Now I have several knit tops that are decorated for Christmas. Will wear next couple days. Dottie, I switched my antihistamine (Zyrtec) to evening on a friend's suggestion. Will see if that helps. Sorry about your itching. I had terrible eczema growing up and when first married, so I understand what you are going thru. Think a lot of mine was stress and once away from my birth family, it went away. Sad but true!
More tomorrow.

Joyce, hope you enjoyed your Christmas party. I still have one Christmas sweater and one sweatshirt that I wear during the holidays. Yea to a 3 day weekend.
Cathy, I hope the RN finally showed up. I’m sure they are busy and probably shorthanded but if they give you a time at least you can make plans for the day. Hope you will be able to get out and do a little fun shopping for yourself. Actually on Monday we head up to DS#1 house to celebrate Christmas. Even though they are here for the day on Christmas Eve and the start of the party, DDIL doesn’t want the kids to get presents till Christmas. So we will start the undecorating on Monday morning and do some more when we get home on Monday evening. We plan on packing the car on Tues – supposed to be 50 out and then leave on Wednesday morning. It will be hectic but it is doable.
Ruth, sounds like you are in great shape for Christmas. All of our wrapping is finished and most of the food for the party is ready and we do a very easy Christmas dinner, so don’t need to do a lot for that. That’s interesting about changing the time of day you take your med hope it helps. I’m sure my hands will clear up once we get to Florida, the warmer weather and sun will help. Hope your sister is doing OK with her treatments.
Jill, Hope you have a very Merry Christmas and that you have some time to get some rest. Take care and let us know how you are doing when you have time.
Tonight we went to DHs Christmas party. It is for employees and retirees and we always have a good time seeing a lot of people. Have to go to the store early in the morning and then a final clean up. DH and I are going up to Mass. to pick up the grandsons. Oldest DGS has a full day of school and so does his mom. DS and DDIL and DGD will come down either late tomorrow night or early on Saturday. They still have lots of wrapping to do and they have DDILs family over for the day on Christmas so she needs to get started on the food. DS also said they have to do some cleaning, I know it is rough for them to both be working FT and taking care of 3 kids. Have a good night.
