This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives.

Round two with DT (trainer) was a worthy and sweaty experience. I am detecting muscle developing on the inside of the soft-sided steamer trunk. I woke up with my stomach growling at 1 am, tried to ignore it for 2 hours, then finally had to get a snack to tide me over. The home scale is down a bit this a.m. May it hold or dive for Monday WI.
The blue dot challenge is on! Simple rules and away we go. Yep, I made yesterday a blue dot day. It took some doings, with Nothing Bundt Cakes (three of them! Mercy!) sitting in the prep room, a gift from a fellow teacher. I have a higher point lunch today and need to have a better plan for dinner.
I'm eagerly reading all steady and returning CATs' posts, happy to see us recharge and move forward.

Of course Sam can join us in the Blue Dot Challenge! I also think that if there are any Cats that don't currently have ww online, they could certainly follow along by tracking on their own. Quick question is : Do I post this on FB to our group? Or keep it here on this forum? Thoughts please, as I need to get the information out today. I will track weigh ins etc. I think it can be a test to see if the 'Blue dot' tracking and weight loss is correlated.
I think I'll have to keep other matters private from my own personal hell. JA, is being well a JA and pulled a classic X-MCAT move with the delivery of papers to me on my doorstep. I have been advised not to worry, but worry I am. Moving on to better things--someday.
I had a terrible eating day yesterday. I just couldn't help myself. I've been handling the stress of my situation well, and I succumbed to the lure of sweets. I think I need to go back and track a couple of things. This will take up all my weeklies. I will have to get my @ss on that TM today. Not sure when, I have some things to do here and JA gets our offspring for the weekend.
Perhaps I will watch a movie tonight. Anything good? I'm still working on the Oscars list, and am way behind.
I will check back in to hear your thoughts on keeping the blue dot challenge here or in the clubhouse. I prefer here, since it is a manageable number. I will send Linda a text so she knows to participate along with us.

Rainy, stormy morning here. I hate driving in to work, and walking the blocks from the parking deck in the rain.
It took me forever to figure out what my blue dot range was and low and behold it was right in front of my eyes on the app. I was afraid it was lower, but now think it is a number I can work with. I have to get back into my daily treadmill routine too. So many good habits have fallen by the wayside in the last few months. I'm fine with reporting here Frieda if that's what you prefer.
Sorry about all the JA shenanigans. Keep on fighting! Take this weekend to do something good for yourself.
My weekend plans are to catch up on things around the house and maybe tackle a few spring yard chores. I don't like it when my "nest" feels neglected and messy.
Off to work for now. Have a great day everyone!

Aloha, Long and Lovelies!!
Sunny and clear here. Even slightly cool! The pleasantness will be replaced by the heat soon enough, so enjoying while we can. We have DH's DKids this weekend; DS will be with XH. DS has both TKD belt testing and his first soccer game this weekend. Both are on Saturday, so there will be running around, the relaxation! I like that!
T, your progress is awesome! I feel for any person that stands in your way once you make up your mind to do something!!
Frieda, sounds like they both use the same playbook - sorry to hear it. I can't imagine in what world that needed to happen. I'm sure it didn't. Hopefully it will all get taken care of quickly. Anything exciting going on with the girls this weekend?
Colleen, I am not a strapless girl either! I prefer V neck, boat neck, short sleeves. Cool that BBQB wants to join the blue dot challenge! Sounds like everyone is ready to go!
Susan, I am there with you on needing order around the yard. We will be putting more seed down in the backyard this weekend - it looks a bit ghetto back there right now. Next year hopefully we will be doing some landscaping and putting in a hot tub. That will take care of some of that mess!!!!
Waving to Shari, Karla, Melinda, Linda, and our other lovelies. Time to hit the spreadsheets! Hugs!!!

Afternoon check-in. Wanted you all to get on board with the Blue Dot Cat Challenge. Tomorrow, April 1. weigh in and give me your starting weight. It can be your home weight or gym weight. Each Saturday, we will check in with weight and how many blue dots from the previous week. Saturday through Friday. Contest will end on Saturday April 29. Are you not able to get online WW? You can still count your points. Get a sticker on your calendar or mark a blue dot for every day you are within the spread. I think we are all at 30 sp's a day. Therefore the goal is to end up within the spread of 27-37, or whatever your personal goal is. That means Shari, you can do it too.
We will see at the end of the month if there is a direct correlation between staying within your points and weight loss! I, am looking forward to being focused and staying on track this month.
