Not sure the record breaking voting is necessarily in Biden’s favor. I believe there here are a lot of secret Trump supporters.

.Yard guys came and went before AC guys. Poor guys have been digging for 45 minutes in compacted clay that never gets watered and no rain for 175 days...actual went at it with hammer and screwdriver. only one unit has the problem fortunately...because the “Freon” line comes out on the side and goes around the back to the house...long and unsupported...after long summer of hard use..vibrating.So it is going underground for most of it. the other unit is north of it so directly links to house.

Becky, I hope your ortho has some good ideas beyond PT that only seemed to get you so far. Aren't most polling places indoors there (except the Harris County people who are voting in their cars)? But the governor excluded masks? Shaking my head! I'm glad the church luncheon was canceled. That could have been a disaster. I know you and Kenneth wouldn't have taken the chance.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised at how Trump treats any woman, Linda. Yes, when the virus doesn't magically disappear next week, there will be a new excuse in their alternate reality. Good luck to your DSIL on the Thanksgiving crowd. My guess is that will be happening a lot, especially since a lot of people haven't seen family since early spring. Going to be a bad December and January. Did everyone show up today who were scheduled? I'll bet the yard guys appreciated the cool down. Pretty bizarre about the AC guys having to dig with a hammer and screwdriver. We had about the same wake up temperature. I hope yours has warmed. Ours hasn't budged and isn't expected to. Guess we may have to turn on the heat. Did you get any masks sewn?
Kathy, did you hear that the Clemson QB who is projected to go #1 in the NFL draft tested positive and has symptoms? He's out for tomorrow's game against BC. That would suck if he had to miss the ND game next weekend. Granted, it's Clemson, so the 2nd and 3rd stringers are also pretty good. But they aren't Trevor Lawrence. Did you see there is another disturbance that could be heading for the Gulf?
Sorry about the snow showers, Denise (unless you're a snow lover). Be extra careful visiting your neighbor and her grandkids. I would think, given the unit you work on (OB, right?) the hospital would keep the covid patients far, far away if at all possible.
Chele, I'm afraid you might be correct about the secret Trump supporters. Hopefully it's not the silent majority they claim to be. Going to be an interesting week (or more) until this is all sorted out and we can hope it doesn't end up in SCOTUS. Are you expecting snow like Denise is? I saw something about Zeta and the winter storm on a collision course to form a N'oreaster. Hope that will be way east of you and Liz. What's on your weekend agenda?
It's Friday, Liz. Have a good weekend!
I did a load of laundry this morning but mostly worked on the newsletter. I think I have everything submitted that I'm responsible for. We have cloudy skies with some wind, so not too comfortable to be outdoors. Fortunately, Arya doesn't want to be outside much when it's cloudy and/or raining.

moonriver, Denise, enjoy the party. We have to remain alone. I don’t expose Ignace to people if I don’t have to. We have a freeze warning for overnight. Linda, good thing your AC is getting fixed since the 90s are coming back. Becky, oh no on the other knee hurting. I hope it is a simple fix. Kathy, it looks like you are going to nave a nice weekend. We are all going to have a full moon. And it is supposed to be blue! Karen, thanks for the Liz update. I always worry about her. NYC is a hard place, Yay for sushi. I went Krogering this morning. No rice vinegar.🤨 DN#2 sent me a picture of GN. Her father had cut her bangs. Looked liked a bowl cut.😂

Chele, how's the PF, especially after those concrete floors at Kroger? No rice vinegar?? What an odd thing to be out of. LOL on the bowl cut. I guess we'll get to see the blue moon as well, so long as these clouds move out.

love the witch dog
AC worked , but it vibrated the side of the house.
Saw that Harris county kept polls open all night for last day.
weather is nuts everywhere...today 85 but cold in morning, with all nineties next week suddenly dropping to 70s.
having half bottle of champagne tonight with the Canadian stew over mashed potatoes because these days I cerebrate little things like getting through this week of vet, two doctors for dh, consult to get endoscopy scheduled..successfully, irrigation repair, and AC repair.
yard 7-7:45, 8:00 AC guys came until 12:30, and ten minutes later irrigation guy at last. I had expected them to turn up same time. phew.
That candy is staying the bag until tomorrow afternoon when we package it for quick grabs.
Dh is napping ( bad night's sleep) and I am reading a book.

Karen, I saw that about the Clemson QB testing positive. Hope he recovers quickly and that it didn't spread to anyone else. The Gators weren't even able to play since they had so many players with the virus. I'm not sure what their status is for this weekend. I haven't seen a track for the latest tropical disturbance, but it does look like it could head to the Gulf. My cousins grew up in Miami and the houses there were similar to what we had farther north with AC and heat. I don't remember if their heat was gas or electric. Was your friend in South Florida in an older house? They wouldn't need the heat very often, but even Miami gets cold once in awhile. Thanks for the update on Liz.
Chele, the moon should be pretty tomorrow night and we're supposed to have clear weather. I saw it come up last night and it was close to full. Yes, it's finally cooling off a bit here! Highs in the 80s this weekend and then I actually see a low in the 50s in our forecast. It's so strange what the stores run out of. I'm better stocked on most things than I was in March, but it's nerve wracking to try and keep ahead of it all. I agree we don't really know which way the vote is going yet. Florida has been counting mail in ballots as they come in, plus they've had a big early voting turnout. They're saying we should know the Florida results on election night, but there are some states that won't allow counting of mail in ballots to begin until Election Day.
Linda, that was a lot in one week! Enjoy the champagne.
Liz, you made it to the weekend! Hope you have a chance to catch your breath and relax a bit. Sorry to hear about the chef and that you had to increase Zoe's meds. Hope she's doing okay. How is Wally?
Becky, so sorry to hear your other knee hurts. Take it easy.

Thanks for the start Karen.
Linda I bet 88 feels like a cool front after all the hot temps you have been having.
Chele You are right.I have heard that some of the Trump supporters are scared to say they voted for him. However most of the early voting in Austin are college students and they are all for Biden.Travis County always votes blue.
Karen I decided to make the ortho appointment because the left knee is also hurting.Today my right knee has felt so heavy and tight again after I took a slow shorter walk this afternoon.I'm hoping he can come up with something more also.He will probably do more x-rays although I'm not due for more until February I think.Abbott is so afraid Trump won't get re-elected he doesn't want any voter turned away.No we wouldn't have gone to the luncheon especially since we haven't gone back to services yet.I couldn't believe one of the ladies posted on our FB page she hoped we could get together soon without the Covid interruptions. I have heard the virus called many things but not an interruption. Our low was 39 this morning but our high was 70.
Chele I'm just going to ask him for a cortisone shot for my left knee so I don't have to wait so long for Medicare to approve gel injections.I just hope he can come up with something for my right knee to do better.
