We are a group of like-minded people that gather to discuss a host of topics from weight loss, to current events. Our thread celebrates liberal diversity, welcomes new friends, and respects all opinions. We count everything from calories to points but, we never count our chickens before they've hatched!

So the big question right now seems to be what's the story Flynn has to tell? Kind of ironic after the comments both he and Tweety made during the campaign about the Hillary staffer seeking immunity. Just goes to show that karma can be a b*tch. Clearly the WH "team" is in over their heads. The more they say and do to try and move past this and stomp out any flames, the more it threatens to become a huge conflagration. From what history has told us, the cover-up is what gets you. They should have paid more attention to their history books. Even if in the best possible case scenario this should all turn out to be only a little campfire as opposed to a huge blaze, the stigma is going to hang over this administration its entire term. I don't usually watch Morning Joe or any day time TV, but did see just a bit of it this morning. Joe was speculating that Bannon would be out of the WH even before Reince, but that they would both go. Then that Jared and Ivanka would begin closing ranks making the Tweeter's inner circle even smaller. Someone else (can't remember who) disagreed, however, saying they did not think Bannon would go because according to this commentator Tweety thinks Bannon holds the key to delivering a Republican Congress again in 2018 and him back to the WH in 2020. Personally, I think Joe may be right but I see Reince going before Bannon. Either way, I think both of them are going to go. So is Tweety going to try to run the country by family rule? There's some plan in the works with Jared and Ivanka, but I still think Ivanka's new job may be to give her executive privilege rights. She was "advising" Tweety already, so didn't need the title for that. My plan is to head out of town this afternoon to celebrate DGS's 9th birthday this weekend. How is it possible that 9 years have gone by since I got that phone call telling me, "Mom, just want to give you a heads up. I think I may already be in labor." Three weeks early, but such a joy! First time I actually got to see him he was in the NICU with wires and IVs attached everywhere, but the most beautiful sight in the world.
