Becky, I hope they can do something for the pain on Wed. I think we're all ready for the election to be over with. I'm mainly seeing Trump and Biden ads here. We don't have a governor or senate race this time, so I guess they're hitting us with the national ads.
Chele, I was happy to get Disney+ as part of the phone deal, but I haven't really used it yet. I want to watch Hamilton. I'll have to check out the astronaut series. Did you ever watch The Astronaut Wives Club or The Cape? Both were good tv series about the astronauts and their families. I'm not sure if they're available anywhere now though. ESPN+ came in handy yesterday for the UCF game. Hope the PF isn't bothering you too much today.
Denise, glad you enjoyed the party. There was a large party across the pond from me last night. They were having fun, but all I could think of was that's a lot of people in one place.
Linda, interesting on the origins of a blue moon. I used to think about what I wanted to do that day when I was having my breakfast. Now it's more like, what crisis or crazy thing has happened since I went to sleep? It is sad.
Karen, that was quite a scare for Clemson. UCF did well and UF won after being out due to Covid.
Liz, hope you're having a good Sunday.
It's drizzling here today, so kind of dreary. Mama bear and the 3 cubs were spotted down the street from me last night. Maybe they were out trick or treating! Someone's security camera caught 2 of the cubs trying to climb onto a swing in their yard. The other cub was just sitting nearby and Mama bear was keeping a watchful eye on them. She is huge!

Kathy, I hadn't heard about Sean Connery until you mentioned it. He was my 2nd favorite Bond (loved Roger Moore), but was amazing in everything he did. Congrats to your Knights. Nice win! I never doubted that Clemson would pull out the win, but it was a nail-biter. And I'm so proud of my 'Horns! I saw on Today that Macy's is boarding up their street level windows in NYC. That's scary. Get out your sweatshirts! Cool weather is coming. Do you think you'll just get drizzle today? We got rain overnight that was a total surprise Unfortunately, that also meant we had clouds, so not much opportunity to see the moon. We are expecting a clearing today and will be at or below freezing in the morning, so we should see it tonight. Today we have lots of wind as our cold front enters. YIKES! on the bears being so close. I hope they have decided to move on by now. Please be extra careful if you're out after dark, especially with it getting dark earlier now.
I wonder how many covid folders you will have eventually, Linda. How odd that the other end of the street had decorations but no candy. Hopefully the kids weren't greedy and just took one back each. Thanks for the blue moon article. I know it wasn't blue on Friday night but we couldn't see it last night due to clouds. It would be nice to ponder something beyond politics and viruses. Maybe some day soon....We can hope. I'm ready for less chaos and darkness.
Chele, I even reset the clock in the Element this morning. I usually don't remember to do that for several weeks. I had to reset the microwaves and the oven, plus 4 clocks in the master suite. I have one in the workout room to change and I think they will all be right. It would be nice if Congress did their job and we wouldn't have to do this again. Can you get a free trial of Disney+? If you waited until all the episodes of The Right Stuff were available, you could get the free trial and binge watch. How was your fettucine? Sounds wonderful! I've never tried the pasta recipe in the Zo. Do you cut your pasta by hand? I have both a manual and electric noodle maker that I haven't used in a few years. The zoodles were good, but the kale wasn't part of the dish but in a fresh salad with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. My PF didn't do particularly well on wood either, so I'm glad yours does respond more favorably to it. When will you start stocking up on sidewalk salt? Otherwise, you sound pretty ready. Bed was warm enough last night but will probably need to turn the mattress pad on tonight. Arya didn't disassemble the bed last night. I think I need to replace the sheets I took off and washed yesterday because they are a bit too small for the mattress.
Other than the untrue Trump ones, we haven't been having that many political ads, Becky. except a couple for Senate and a couple for Congress. The guy running for Senate used to run ads saying, "endorsed by Trump" and I noticed recently that tagline is gone. Maybe he sees the writing on the wall. The bulk of the ads right now are for online betting because TN became the first state to offer it starting today. And those will be ongoing, so we won't get a break. Did you watch the Texas game? We almost didn't tune back in after halftime but decided to watch a bit more and was there to the end when the OSU QB got sacked on 4th down to win the game. That should secure Tom Herman's job for the season.
Denise, I'm glad you enjoyed your party. Stay warm for the next few days until your temperatures start to moderate.
How's the weekend going, Liz? You be extra careful this week if there is any violence there tied to the elections.
Dale went for a trail run this morning and stopped at Salsarita's on the way home. So we have had takeout twice this week. Very unusual for us. I ate half of my shrimp burrito bowl with black beans and rice plus a few nachos. I doubt I'll be eating anything for dinner. I did a load of workout clothes after Dale got home and it was a full load, even for our large capacity washer. The winds are sufficient that I had to bring in the bird feeder this morning so the birds are not happy. We even had a male cardinal peering into the door from the deck in protest. They may have to fend for themselves until tomorrow.

Chele We only have one wall clock and Kenneth changed it.He changed his truck and I changed the car.I still need to change the microwave.I never look at the time but Kenneth said sometimes he looks at it on his way to the bathroom. The moon was beautiful. The pain is not enjoyable.Everyone else here is fine. Thanks but I'm not a Longhorn fan. That would be Karen.I do respect their coach and their QB is so good.I hope your PF is better soon.
Thanks Kathy. We have local races so we get all those ads.We have had another beautiful day here.Started out a little cool but warmed up to 78.
Karen They said the game wasn't pretty but they didn't need pretty.OSU was sloppy in OT which lost them the game. You must be getting our cold weather from last week except you get the drizzle.I did watch the game or at least listened to most of it.
