Thanks for the start, Karen. Belated rabbit, rabbit, rabbit wishes. I hope this is not a month of chaos.
Karen, I will look at a free trial for Disney+. The fettuccine was great. I hand cut them. We have an expensive manual pasta machine but I have never gotten the hang of it. By the time I get it clamped and to the right thickness I could have the dough cut already. I haven’t seen the salt in the stores yet. The first time I do I will get it. Lucky you in sushi and Salsarita’s in the same week. We hand gusty winds yesterday but we left the feeders out. It was fun watching the birds try to land. No chickadees though. They are too small to buck the wind and land on something swinging.
Becky, oops, got my Texas teams mixed up. Too bad those Longhorns won, huh? 😁 I haven’t watched enough local TV to see the political ads but I listen to local radio and have heard enough. 😝
Kathy, I did watch The Astronaut Wives Club. The only show called The Cape I know was about a comic book hero. I am waiting for season 2 of the Apple TV show called For All Mankind, a reimagined moon landing where the Russians also land. Apple extended the free subscription I had. It was due to expire in November and is now extended until February.
Linda, did you get the rose bush planted? Is the irrigation line fixed? What is on the agenda for today?
Liz, Denise, be careful at work and be safe on your commutes.
I have do e a workout, prepped for lunch and have a load of laundry in. I dusted and vacuumed yesterday, so I am off the hook today. It was below freezing this morning and the high is supposed to be around 48°. I read a BuzzFeed list that one of the things travelers notice about Americans is how we enjoy talking about the weather. It’s true! I really do want to know how the weather is all over.

Linda, I remember when Gabby Giffords was shot and knew she was married to Mark Kelly, the astronaut. His twin brother, Scott, also an astronaut, is a Tennessee grad. So we hear quite a lot about him. I hope Mark can win the election there. We won't be watching much local TV for the next few days. We will have the local and state elections settled probably by Wednesday. Then we'll just have to ignore Trump's attempts to claim victory until all the votes are counted (and probably litigated😡).
The Longhorn game definitely wasn't pretty, Becky, and OSU kind of fell apart in OT. I think this may have been their first OT game of the season. Definitely not Texas's first. We were in the 30s this morning so the cold front definitely moved through and we'll only be in the 50s for the high today. BRRRR.... What are you able to take to ward off the knee pain? I know you'll be glad to see the ortho on Wednesday and hopefully get some relief.
Chele, 🐰🐰🐰. I have a feeling we will have at least several weeks of chaos. Unfortunately, we have been dealing with almost non-stop chaos since mid-January 2017. Hopefully it will be coming to an end. But if Trump loses, he'll either quit and dump everything on Pence or he will sow chaos until he gets dragged out of the WH kicking and screaming. I would love for it to be a Biden victory when election day votes are counted and the rest of the votes will just be gravy. I'll have the rest of my shrimp bowl for dinner tonight. Dale put the feeder back out this morning and we've had a constant stream of visitors, including a few woodpeckers who haven't been here for a while. I think all your chickadees are here. I was actually pretty good at using both my pasta machines and used them quite frequently. Glad your fettucine turned out well. Enjoy doing what ever today, since you got your housework done yesterday. Dale did the grocery run this morning so we were up early and I got bathrooms cleaned, towels and rugs washed, kitchen cleaned, vacuuming done, and bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room, and pantry floors mopped. LOL on Americans' obsession with the weather. I'm really interested in what Linda and Becky are getting because that is usually headed our way.
Are you back at work today, Denise? Any plans to take time off to go anywhere this month?
Kathy, how is your cooler weather? Are you able to start walking outdoors yet? Any more bear sightings? Clemson announced yesterday that Lawrence won't be playing at ND. So it will be up to the freshman to get the job done.
How was your weekend, Liz? How's Chef? Is Zoe responding to the meds?
Our new covid cases statewide yesterday were less than 1K, which tells me they probably didn't have a lot of tests reporting. Positivity rate was less than 7%, so that was a bit of a surprise (has usually been in double digits lately). It will probably hit with a larger number today to make up for it. Internet mysteriously came back yesterday afternoon. Dale's theory is that everybody got cut off until the 1st of the month and they reset everything. We watched the last 2 weeks of SNL last night and last week's episode had a hysterical sketch about a group of friends going to a fortune teller in 2019, hoping for good omens about 2020 and getting some very confusing answers that, of course, made perfect sense to us (one woman was told that her DH would be at the sink washing off a bag of chips and she told him he wasn't using enough soap). It's probably on YouTube if you want a good laugh.

Thanks for the start Karen.
Chele That's ok on the teams.I'm not a Longhorn fan but I have really been happy for their QB this year.So I'm not totally disappointed when they win.Next year may be a different story.Besides Jimbo and my Aggies won.Our low was 38 but when the sun comes out it warms up quickly.
Karen I heard that is false about Trump claiming victory early. No way he can if PA counts votes for 3 days after election and that is totally unfair.I'm not a real Trump head but I don't want to live in a socialist country either.I may have to but I would rather not. I know a lot of people don't believe he is a socialist but some of Bidens proposed programs seem socialistic to me.I take Tylenol Arthritis and Ibuprofen. I don't know what he can do except x-ray the knees but I will ask him for a MRI if the x-ray doesn't show anything.

Chele, I think the comic book hero show called The Cape is more recent. I liked The Cape since it centered on Kennedy Space Center and it was about the Space Shuttle program. I think Disney owns it so maybe it will turn up on Disney+ at some point. It starred Corbin Bernsen and Adam Baldwin. That's funny on Americans talking about the weather. Maybe it's since we have such a big variety depending on where you live.
Karen, the cool weather is really nice for a change. (There I go talking about the weather!) I think less people get tested over the weekend so the Covid numbers always seem to be a bit lower on Monday. I saw that SNL show and that was a funny skit. The Village People's response to Trump using their songs was funny too.
Linda, I don't think I've ever paid a bill in person and now I do almost all of them online! I hope the election is decided quickly too.

Linda I still have generic Voltaren from when the surgeon prescribed it in ointment form. Does it come in cream form now? I have seen it on the shelves but I didn't know if it would be any different. The generic RX doesn't help me even before surgery.

I like regular Ibuprofen better better you can take just so much..hard in kidneys and stomach lining.
I found Penetrex bought on Amazon useful, but it needs about a day of doses to work...mainly arnica with other stuff.
