Good morning friends. Went to bed later than usual but still slept well. I fell asleep earlier on the couch and that's what did it.
Gladys texted me via Carl's phone and I have an appointment for a gel manicure at 3 pm Other than that (and perhaps shopping) nothing on the agenda.

Happy to say that I maintained. Up .3 from last week, but I still consider that a maintain. Still no word on Carlin (the gal fixing the phone) I know she said a week before the part came in, but I was hoping it would come sooner. Guess I need to PP practice patience.
That's why I am not online as much...this going back and forth is for the words and I gave my laptop to a friend that needed it.
Again...happy Thursday! Know that y'all remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Thursday! I slept very well last night and woke early this morning, which enabled me to get some things done around here. We have some more mild (and warm) weather today so I will get outdoors later.
DH brought home Green Apple salads for supper last night. About mid-afternoon I 'hit a wall' and ran completely out of energy. It was exacerbated by running up and down the stairs to wash and dry all of my throw rugs. This morning I made fruit bowls (strawberries, banana, blueberries) with Egg McMuffin sandwiches. It was very good and gave me just the spurt of energy that I needed. I will be having a Baby Greek salad with grilled chicken for lunch as I am meeting my niece.
It is almost time for me to go as I have a haircut appointment, then my appointment at the Battery store. After I get my phone back, I need to go to the Credit Union, then home. I guess grocery shopping will have to be tomorrow?? But everything will be done before I go back to work.
BBL. Make a great day!!

Sue sounds like you had a very busy day so far. Hope you get that walk in. I agree...the market will still be there tomorrow.
Beautiful weather here also. We took miss LuLa for a walk, came home, got her all 'situated' and then decided to bite the bullet and go to Hannaford's. We were blessed in finding all on our list (and then some) A stop at Walmart and Tractor Supply and Ocean State Job Lots will happen.......but not today........what doesn't get done Friday will be saved for Monday.
Sue I envy you getting your phone back.
Going to relax before leaving to get that manicure at 3 p.m.

Hi All ~
We have a truly beautiful day!! I got my haircut (and I love it!) and made it to my battery appointment. I was so pleased to have found somewhere local that will do that. I dropped it off -and the guy did a complete check that everything was working and when he was done he did another one and gave me a print-out of the results. Talk about feeling well cared for!! That has been in the back of my mind for months now so it is good having it done.
I met my niece (who I just LOVE) and she had a surprise for me - her 1-year-old granddaughter who I had not met yet (due to being sick last February and then the pandemic). She is just beautiful and looks just like her dad when he was her age. She added so much fun to our lunch! Since I've been home, I took the mats out of my car and scrubbed them and then cleaned the entire interior of my car and washed the windows. Tomorrow I will fill it with gas and get it washed and be all set for a while.
I have vacuumed the house and replaced the throw rugs and I'm surprised how much time I have killed, and I still haven't gotten out for a walk. I think I'll take some Tylenol now and then head out walking. Otherwise I will plop down in my recliner and watch the news. Still undecided .....
Ann ~ Hang in there - you're one day closer to getting your phone back. I was without mine for a whole hour and I felt naked. I forgot I hadn't put on a watch and without my phone I didn't know what time it was. Glad you got your shopping done. Enjoy your manicure!!
Waving "HI" to Judy and Pam .....

LOL I know that 'naked' feeling well. I think I'll CeLeBrAtE when I get it back So happy that you love your hair. That's so important. Also nice that you enjoyed lunch and got to meet your DN grand-daughter. Fun all the way around for all. I am happy to be back from the salon. Gladys does a wonderful job on my manicure. I chose a pretty deep red with sparkles.... Sweet dreams, all. Shutting down the desktop now.

Good evening!
Today was DH's birthday so we heard from all 3 DDs who called to wish him Happy Birthday. There was lots of laughter and lots of chatter. We also heard from my younger brother's wife who has always had a good relationship with DH and caught up on all the news from their family.
Debbie and I walked this morning and then I pretty much slacked the rest of the day. I finally realized all my laying around and procrastination was because of two tasks that I didn't feel like doing, but should have done days ago. One was writing up my notes from my hospice telephone calls and making a new call this week and the other was finishing up hoeing a row in the garden. I made myself get them done and then accomplished a couple of other tasks and got dinner ready. I am so silly about putting things off. Now I feel much better.
Tomorrow morning I have my annual checkup with the PCP at 8:00 and blood work afterwards. I plan to drop off my notes at the hospice office and then head to DD1's. It's her birthday. DD2 will meet us and we plan to have lunch and do a little shopping. We will all wind up at our house for a joint birthday supper with restaurant take-out to honor DD1 and DH. It's a good thing I weigh in tomorrow morning and have a whole week to repair the damage, lol.
This morning I was very hungry as I ate light at supper the night before. I had 2 eggs, 2 turkey sausage patties and a piece of toast. Lunch was leftover fajita chicken and Spanish rice and green beans. Dinner was pork loin roast, rice and gravy, coleslaw and broccoli. I have lots of roast leftover for sandwiches later.
Sue - A new hairdo makes you feel like a new woman, doesn't it? How nice of your DN to surprise you with the baby! You had a busy day.
Ann - I can only imagine the aggravation of being without your phone for so long. Your new nails sound pretty.
Judy - Waving at ya!
