Chele, thanks for the start. We're still in the 70s and getting little squalls from the outermost bands of Eta. Now it looks like it's eventually aiming for Pensacola.
Denise, enjoy your nice weather. I didn't know you had to cover the air conditioners up there. Can you tell I've never lived in a really cold climate?
Linda, I don't blame Micki. 41 is pretty chilly.
Karen, is your brother expecting any weather from Eta? It looks like it might go to the FL/AL border, but there are some tracks showing that it might dissipate. It should only be a tropical depression if it goes inland.
I just saw a recall for Tanimura & Antle packaged single head romaine lettuce with 10/15 or 10/16 pack dates. It was distributed to the following states and also sold at Walmart: AK, OR, CA, TX, AR, OK, IN, NE, MO, TN, WI, NM, SC, WA, NC, OH, VA, MA, PR, and IL.

moonriver, Denise, I am not a fan of warm weather in November, but that is just me. I like cooler temps. It is nice to get outdoor work done in shirt sleeves, though. Linda.41° must feel like the teens feel to us. Poor skinny Micki. Karen, that is a bummer about wifi. They’d better give you credit for a service you couldn’t use. ATT phone service we have is unlimited but they throttle back speed after a certain GB. I have never reached the limit. So Arya thinks she’s a little birdie and the seed is for her! 😛 How was the gym? Kathy, thanks for the heads up on the romaine. You avoided another storm. Yay! Becky, how are the knees today? We went to the seafood store and got our oysters. Now Iggy can stop nagging me. Have a good Tuesday.

Thanks for the start, Chele. Are your Acadias on the recall list for the transmission leak? YAY 4 Oysters! I guess you know where to go now. Did you get anything else while you were there? I probably would have stocked up my freezer. It's a shame "unlimited" often doesn't mean there are no limits. My phone is actually working well as a hot spot. The gym was a little crowded but I managed to keep my distance. I don't know what it is that Arya likes about bird seed. Sometimes she seems to think she's a cat so maybe that's the bird attraction.
Linda, I'll bet you were freezing this morning! And, poor Micki! He needs his blankie. We're almost 80 here. I feel your pain on the sewing issues. I had all of that plus broke a needle at one point. How did the car maintenance go? No surprises, I hope.
I hope the knees are feeling a bit better today, Becky. How are berry prices this week? I saw something a while back that Trump is the first president in 100 years who does not have a dog. He said in an interview that he doesn't have time for one. I've seen that Wrap-N-Zap batting and I think I even bought some and then decided to crochet bowl cozies instead. The bowl cozies seem pretty easy to make. I had planned to make them until I found the crochet pattern and made a bunch, some for us and some to sell at the craft fairs I did a couple of years ago.
Kathy, sorry your Eta squalls are continuing. It appears your weather guessers were right and it's moving further west toward DB. He's about 45 minutes west of Pensacola. Looks like they will mostly get rain. And now we have Theta, adding to yet another record-breaking year. Fortunately, they are saying it will move east. We have a cold front moving in at the same time some of the squalls from Eta will be moving our way. We are expecting a soggy day tomorrow. I hadn't seen about the romaine recall. Why is it usually romaine? That's another reason I'm happy to be growing my own salad right now.
Good that you remembered the old gas in the snow blower, Denise. Enjoy getting those winter things completed while it's still warm and sunny. We have beautiful weather here as well but are expecting rain tomorrow.
Liz, how's the week going so far? How has the subway been?
I got my hair cut early then went to the gym. As you know, I wasn't planning to do any grocery shopping this week but realized this morning I was almost out of coconut milk, so I stopped at our Neighborhood WM for that, pomegranate juice, a few bottles of GT's kombucha and got a pack of TP that wasn't on my list but they had my brand and the aisle was somewhat picked over. I also did most of my Christmas gift card shopping, so all the nieces and nephews are taken care of. I just have to get something for DB/DSIL and I'll be done with everything except Dale's and he's not being a great deal of help. I will probably also get a few things to drop off at Toys for Tots and might do that on Thursday if I have time. We did a Misfits Market box this week instead of the CSA. Dale is tired of having the same veggies every week and the CSA is somewhat limited on the variety front. I'm anxious to see how this is. Clouds are starting to roll in and we are supposed to get up to 2 inches of rain tomorrow. So I'm glad I don't have to make that 70 minute round trip to meet the CSA delivery person. I have plenty of things to do here.

Karen, we also brought home 2 lbs of Atlantic salmon, 2lbs of smelts, 1 lb calamari rings, 1 lb octopus and some maple smoked salmon. We use the calamari and octopus along with mussels in our ginger, Chinese 5 spice and soba noodle soup. I don’t blame Dale for wanting a different variety of vegetables and avoiding the 70 min round trio is a bonus. I hope Misfits works out. Good idea to snap up TP while you can. I read that Kroger and HEB are reinstating limits on paper and cleaning products as the hoarding has begun. I just ordered a 6 pack of Kleenex from Target since I was getting a Christmas present for Iggy from there. We are expecting rain overnight and a 20° drop in temps.

Thanks for the start Chele. It is an upside down world when Linda is colder than you.I am with you on not wanting warmer weather in November.I don't care for real cold weather but 40's-60's are fine with me.The right knee is really hurting tonight.Maybe the upcoming cool weather but it will be up in the 80's in the afternoons.I did take 2 walks and went to Walmart plus having to get a couple of things at HEB that didn't make it in our bag yesterday.I'm resting it now.Glad Iggy got his oysters.
Linda That is cold for you. It's still 72 here but may be in the 50's by morning.Scooter is staying in this afternoon because of the wind.
Kathy Thanks for the heads up on the lettuce recalls.
Karen My knee hurts along with the IT band being really tight.HEB is funny about their sales. We go on Wednesday mornings and they don't send their sale email until afternoon.Blackberries were still the same price on Monday. The surgeon's office called in my script yesterday but they were out of the medicine. We were on our road when I got the call it was ready.I wasn't going back today so will just get it when we buy groceries tomorrow. You and Kathy must be getting all the rain. Our weather guesser said we can't buy a drop of rain.
