Good morning all. Feeling a tad less stressed and I'll take it. Slept fairly well last night for which I'm grateful.
I started reading...concentration is slowly coming back. It's a series by Barbra Freethy and I'm on book #2 My Wildest Dream. I'm enjoying that author as I've read her before.
Going to hit 'reset' today and toe the line.
Again, I thank you all for your prayers and good vibes.

My day is planned and tracked. We need to replace our coffeemaker as our cheapo one sprung a leak. Luckily, we got our morning mug out of it before it happened Will CBL......

Hey all,
Gloomy Thursday on tap for us here I'm about to embark on a soggy walk with D&D. I slept well and packed a couple more boxes. I am going through books now. The cookbook stash is incredible and some are from the 1920s! :-) Manuals for very old stoves and a few really fun ones with cheerful looking housewives telling us all how we should be behaving and catering to others. LOL :-) This is why I am slow and having a hard time to get rid of things. Some of these will be packed into my save boxes and stored. They are relics for sure.
I finished watching The Accident on Hulu last night. It takes place in Wales. I like the British mysteries and this had one of the actresses I really liked from Last Tango in Halifax.
I have ingredients ready to make a minestrone soup later on - it s a soup kind of day!
BBL. Stay well all - I am so discouraged to see the COVID numbers soaring around here. It's not going to be a jolly holiday for sure. Why can't people just WEAR THEIR MASKS?! It's so easy to do. I had a scratchy throat yesterday but I'm sure it's related to seasonal allergies as it seems better today. Phew.
TTFN - waving to all and thanks for getting us started, Ann! Sorry about your coffeemaker and glad you are feeling better today!

LOL Judy have fun going through all those treasurers. I can picture the cookbook covers Gloomy here as well. We started out to walk...but it began to rain just as we rounded the corner. Luckily we miss LuLa 'went' right away. Later....should it stop...we'll try it again. Waving................. Thanks I am feeling a tad better. I'll take it.

Hey all,
I went through the big cabinet of cookbooks and manuals and they were a hoot! I am sure they have some very good older recipes and many nice dessert types. They were all from the 1920's and many from the war era of the 40s. Victory cookbooks, etc. Very collectable - for me! I can't part with them and have them packed away. I actually have a much harder time parting with my parents' things than my own. I miss them so much. At least if they are packed away, I can go through them more later on. They don't take up much space. :-)
I am waiting for a Stop & Shop delivery soon. I am going to make a big pot of Lidia's Kitchen Minestrone soup with pesto that I saw on TV this morning. It looked great. I also have many other items arriving and it saved me a trip out in this raw, rainy weather.
Ann, glad you got out with Miss Lula and that she cooperated for you quickly. Doug dawdled back and forth and back and forth and finally performed. LOL
I'll check in later and hope you all have had a peaceful day.
am I
