On another thread someone said we should have a funk club as off and on we all fall into it lately. But you have to have one positive
Funk club...oh yeAh.
Today I will put up more net lights on the small tree ...ficus. Finally found them in the garage. I think I will turn it all on this weekend instead of Thanksgiving..
I have to use up some food from freezer this week because the fridge gets unplugged while they do kitchen floor Monday 30th...assuming that is not screwed up. Stuff will go into bath tub with ice. Some meat should get used anyway as I stocked up at the beginning of this virus mess. Hope I can restock easily Dec 1. I think maybe the little upright freezer we can just slide to the next room six feet away and out the stuff back in until floor is done.

Chele, how was the node check? I hope the doc was pleased. I assume you had a chauffeur. Are they doing anything new with virus cases on the increase? I made Arya's annual appointment and we call when we arrive and they will let me walk in the door with her as long as I'm wearing a mask (DUH!!). I was really stressing because she is so skittish and there is a busy 4-lane highway about 50 yards away. Do you need veggies this weekend? I just found out the other day that the standup comic Dave Chappelle lives in YS.
Good article, Linda. I've been doing all of that stuff all along and still wipe down groceries and mail before it comes into the house. Good reinforcement, however. Since you are going to have to move the fridge, is there a place you could put it and be able to plug it in like you will with the little freezer? Hopefully you will be able to restock after the flooring is completed. I heard about what you referenced yesterday regarding Trump and Michigan legislators. And there was the Giuliani/Powell 💩 show of a press conference yesterday This just gets more bizarre. A funk club kind of describes the entire year. It would be really difficult for the one positive person with nobody but Negative Nellies.
Kathy, did you hear that the TN AD tested positive? He apparently hasn't been around any of the student athletes or coaching staff but may have infected the chancellor. So far he says he feels fine. Did I hear Rick Scott now has it as well? I'll bet he was at Trump's super spreader election night celebration. Our weather is sunny but cool. How's yours? Any bear sightings? How does your football schedule look for the weekend? I pulled up the ESPN page to check the schedule and prominently front and center saw an article that headlines, "'They're in a deep, deep hole': Inside the 6-year unraveling of Florida State Football". Sorry. I know that has to be frustrating for alums and fans. I guess we'll be on opposite sides tomorrow with the 'Noles playing the Tigers. TX isn't playing, of course, due to Kansas covid. TN plays Auburn and Michigan plays Rutgers and I'm not expecting a win from either of those games. Fortunately, women's college baskeball starts next week
How are you feeling today, Becky? Are you still tired? Are you backing off 2 walks right now? That's too funny about the cats and their beds.
Denise, do you have the weekend off? I can't believe the election nonsense attached to your state.
Friday, Liz! Are you off next week (I hope!)?
I got a pleasant surprise just before the Zoom meeting. Our MG group won another award. This one was for our partnership with the Sevier County Fair. So that's 3 state awards this year. Not bad during a pandemic when we didn't have a coordinator for about 6 months. I haven't done much else this morning except work on the presentation for the awards event. I think I'm catching on pretty well with the software package and even figured out how to add background music. I'm waiting for a few additional photos and I should be able to finish it. Then I have to make sure I can get it to work through screen sharing and have to pray for good internet that evening.

Congrats on awards
Finally...flooring coming Tuesday from Penn (what happened to expedited from east coast Mon?) and being installed Wed. I think I better bake pies Tuesday after Bob's endoscopy.

Linda, sorry about the flooring schedule mess. I would want to get it over with as well. When we had our kitchen floors tiled we moved the fridge, stove and dishwasher into the dining room.
Denise, I echo Karen’s sentiments on the craziness in the political landscape in Michigan. We just have battles between the governor and the state legislature.
Liz, what level of nuttiness is New York at? How are things at St Crazy? Are the performance reviews done?
Kathy, did you see the moon and planets last night? It is amazing what a difference in position they were after 24 hours. It is supposed to be cloudy tonight so I may not see anything. We are also well stocked but if I see something in short supply, I will grab a package. Iggy thinks I am becoming a hoarder.
Becky, I am glad the kitties are enjoying the new beds. Teddy would use one when I took him into the office but not at home. Nice day for a walk?
Karen, our county is at level 4 or purple, meaning we are very stupid. The governor won’t shut down again, he says. We have the curfew and the stay at home advisory and cannot have gatherings over 10 even for weddings and funerals. Some restaurants have shut down dine in service voluntarily but still have heated patio dining, carry out and delivery. Yes, Dave Chapelle has lived there for years and is part of the community. On SNL he claims to have single handedly saved the local economy which I am sure tremendously pleased the YS city council. Not. Congratulations on the awards. I am glad your efforts have been recognized. It sounds like you have the presentation under control.
The original node is gone. The second one is different and is likely allergy related, per Opthamologist #2. He said he has one in each eye. I am to watch it and make sure there is no change. Otherwise, there is no further follow up required. It is a nice day here today, sunny and 61°, but it should be 10° cooler and rainy this weekend.

Thanks for the start Karen. We can't go inside when we take Scooter or even when we go for her heartworm or flea meds.We have to call when we arrive and they come out with the pills or if it's for Scooter they come out to get her. They are masked and so are we.It actually takes less time when Scooter has an appt because they don't come out for her until the vet is ready for her.I'm still tired.I took a longer walk this morning and a very short one this afternoon.I got my 2nd shingles shot at HEB today so I could be more tired from it as well. It's warm and humid in the afternoons so that doesn't make for good walking weather.I was just glad they both finally decided to use them.Congrats on the MG award.
Chele Not the coolest day for a walk since our low was 65 and high was 82 and humid.Knee was not co-operating but I think it was more the shoes I was wearing because the knee would start getting really tight.I changed shoes and it doesn't hurt walking in the house. Our governor won't shut down either.Travis County is in stage 4 and Williamson Co is now in stage 5 which is described as uncontrolled protection. Where Kenneth used to work at least 7 have now tested positive.I don't understand why people are so stupid and can't use common sense so the government doesn't have to control every move we make.I don't understand the curfews.Like CA has a curfew between 10 PM and 5 AM.Do they think Covid is only spread during those times?I'm glad the original node is gone.Hopefully you don't have to go back.

Karen, I heard about Rick Scott. I think he may have been at one of the events for the GA Senate race too. There was a large event with people packed in and few masks. I saw that article on FSU, but didn't read it all. I think I've been following along enough as all these things happened over the past 6 years. We'll be on opposite sides, but I don't have much hope for FSU against the Tigers. Sad, since that was always one of the more exciting ACC games. We'll always have the puntrooskie though. UCF plays Cincinnati tomorrow, so that's a big game for them. Congrats on the MG award! Linda, sorry the floor scheduling got messed up and hope they can get it done soon. They always tell us if we lose power during a hurricane that food in the fridge and freezer should be good for at least 24 hours if you don't open it. If you can plug it in somewhere that would be better. Chele, I think I'm becoming a hoarder too, not to mention a tad agoraphobic. I think putting the signs up with limits can backfire since everyone thinks maybe they should grab one. Yay for the good news on the nodes! Becky, it's mainly bars and some restaurants that are open after 10, so I think that's the reasoning for the curfews. Cutting their hours, especially later at night cuts down on some of the riskier behavior. Liz, another week down! Do you have any time off for Thanksgiving week? I hope so.

Chele. At least the weird mode is gone. Hope things progress well. Iggy should see our paper supplies. I bought extra yeast yesterday ..figure I might have to send it to you!
Becky that is our curbside service at vet since April. They take Micki in for his test and bring him back.we are not to get out of car and we wear masks. have the kitties each chosen a bed? I cannot believe how stupid people are either. You should hear my brother on people at his clinic.
Kathy the big fridge has to be emptied to be moved but hopefully only three or four hours.
