Each day, tally the positive actions that you made the day before and then talk about the challenges you are working on. Anyone with a positive commitment to the program can join. If you are the first one to post each day, please copy, paste and get us started and, if you choose, pose the Question of the Day (QOTD) that solicits constructive ideas for following the plan.

Good Morning, positive π£π£!
Nat - sending you a ton of hugs and positive energy as you embark on the new job.
Just checking in before going grocery shopping. I did a short walking video this a.m. as it is a day of "soaking rain", so no hiking for me, LOL. Also, thinking ahead to the next 90 days. (Dec 1 through Feb 28) What do I want to accomplish? I know one of my "goals" is to learn something new every day. This excites me!
Back later, after my chores.
Be well! Carol

Hi Canners- yes Nat-sending good new job wishes! How many therapists in the practice- and are they all in-office during COVID? None in our community are in person Rainy day here as well Carol AND I did a target run at 8 am..bought myself a holiday present-airpods- which will be useful on my walks without needing a cord! I like the idea of a 90 day challenge- and some new goals.. thinking.... Happy almost December friends- for sure I want to see less of me on the scale by 1/1! mostly some BMI wiggle room. How about you?

Good Morning!! Love, light, blessings, and good health! December 1, 2020. Tuesday. 735 AM
Nat, I hope that the new job is going splendidly. Thanks for letting me know that mini meltdowns during a pandemic are normal or as normal as we get.
Carol we also have had some rain. No rain today but only 28 degrees. Brrr. Hooray for doing a walking video.
Hi Jan!
Sally hooray for getting your Target run done and air pods, I would also say "seeing less of me" is my big goal now.
Yes I did: meet one very difficult administrative deadline and celebrate way too much. Pedicure and tres leches cake. WW site is down so no idea how much damage but I know it will be bad. I also hit a spinning class. Tres Leches cake is a Mexican treat, a cake made with loads of sugar and three kinds of milk (including heavy cream). Yes I can: Eat clean today. Home ab circuit. Dentist appointment. Walking breaks. Weight class tonight. Something cardio afterwards. 90 day challenge. Learn how to stay OP and participate in a relationship. MF wanted to celebrate last night with the cake (at least he ate half the points. LOL). I know one thing is to save every single "splurge" point for him. At least our pre-cake dinner was shrimp, salad, and no bread. Love, light, blessings, and good health to all, janet

Good Tuesday Morning and Happy December, positive π£π₯!
Sally - enjoy the AirPods! I should consider putting them on my wishlist. I do get tangled while I'm walking: the cord from my headphones, the neck cord holding my sunglasses, the mask in waiting...lots of tangles!
Janet - yay for keeping warm and continuing to seek balance π
Yes I DID: --finally finish the T-day leftovers. Stuffing and cranberry sauce, with our brand new chicken breasts. Who knew the cranberries had so many points....all that sugar. --get more steps with Leslie Sansone yesterday, rainy day --get partial steps with Leslie this a.m., awoke to big wet snowflakes falling (they didn't stick, yet). But hey, Janet, TX is having colder temps than western NY? Crazy! It is 30s & 40s here. We likely will have 1-2" of snow tomorrow.
One of my 90 day goals is to virtually walk the ~300 miles between Niagara Falls and Albany. average 3.33 miles per day. I can do this!
Yes I CAN: --enjoy getting hair done today. My stylist's shop is still in the "yellow zone" and open at reduced capacity. City and some 'burbs are "orange" which means salons close again. Could happen soon.
Be well! Carol

Happy Tuesday. So nice reading and catching up with all of you. I've been lying low for a few days, feeling crappy, but not getting a full-blown cold. Yesterday I did about 4 hours of decluttering and that did me in. The transformation from Den to Guest room is almost complete. Just clearing and painting the inside of closets now. I had a lot of junk stored in there. I have to ask myself...how much gift wrap, greeting cards, and craft stuff do I really need to keep? That stuff just gets out of hand for me. That and paper and books. What gets out of hand for you? Major clutter? Janet: Meltdowns, yes. We are all doing it I think. I find a quick apology and hug works. I am just so happy not to have my Sweetie home and working on the house. I was so lonely the first of this Covid. It must be very difficult being so far away from your parents, especially during this time when travel is so dangerous. Carol: Learning something new every day is such a great goal. Mine is just staying on the right side of the grass! LOL. Things are scary here, with Covid, I am wondering when we will be in total lockdown with only shopping for food, like Los Angeles. We have a 10 pm curfew now in San Diego, except for food and work. Enjoy your Haircut! Good to look ahead and prep for what may come. Good job getting your steps in. Nat: Hope your new job is going well. Be super careful! Gift cards for the Holidays is a YES. I am sending early I think. Throwing away the last of the pumpkin pie. We only ate 2 slivers each and it was enough. Wasted way too much food at Thanksgiving, so will not be cooking a big dinner for Christmas. Lucky you have your DS to help eat it up. Sally: Happy December 1st. Happy Holidays to you. Still loving the new home? Really proud of you having your family stay home over Thanksgiving. You are so smart, and I know you're itching to hold Nora again. Sending love and light to surround her. Yes, I am... --doing very little today. Rest. Recuperate. Stay warm. Weather is lovely. 70's all this week. No rain though. Eating Tangerines and Vitamin C...and some comfort food too. Be Well my Friends, Jan

Happy December positive peeps! I forgot to report on my first day but I was so wiped out last night. I'm so glad it's only 4 hours right now LOL. The drive has been beautiful and not trafficky. Yesterday was a bit head spinning but today there was more time spent in a quiet area instead of out front as she had to do some temp screenings for those coming in. Sally, there are somewhere around 36 therapists now at that office, but mostly everything is a telephone visit or video visit. A handful, maybe 4 come into their office and one doctor (I think there are 5) comes in daily to be on duty for crisis patients or for RN injections/meds. The only in person visits are the ones that need to take their neuropsych tests or get injections (maybe 4 a day at most). We did notice that one of the therapists booked an in person visit for 12/21. Not sure if that is actually happening, but hope not yet! I think I might survive this if the drive doesn't kill me LOL!
Waving to all for now. Gotta run to the store and then do a little treadmill before I crash early. Zyrtec is helping me get at least 6 hours sleep. That seems to be my norm and I can function on it. 4:00 comes early though and this morning 3:15 and I was awake! oh boy...

Good Morning! Love, light, blessings, and good health. Wednesday. 12.2.2020.749 AM CST
Hi Nat, glad the drive was pleasant and the job okay. WTG on hitting the treadmill after.
Hi Sally!
Oh Carol, it heated up to the mid-fifties (which I describe as polar chill)when the sun came up. I make my cranberries with Splenda and a packet of that orange sugar free breakfast drink. If I have time I added chopped apples to cook with it or to stir in once cooked. You might try it. It may not be exactly zero point but I do not count points for it.
Jan that is a lot of decluttering. I hope you feel better. My big clutter is my filing stack in my law office. I don't think MF really noticed I was having a meltdown as it was mostly just a spike in my heart rate and blood pressure. The only thing I did was insist that we NOT watch a movie about terrorists as it was too awful. But good news at the dentist and my BP was 104/76.
Yes I did: eat clean, I am hoping today is day two OP. Short walk, weight class, home ab circuit, and rowing machine. I also hit Target before it got too insane for Christmas shopping. Good check up for dentist and barring a dental crisis -- I do not have to be back until June. Bragging rights on BP at 104/76. Lots of law done -- finally getting back in the groove.
Today: spinning class, walking breaks, eat clean and MF and I to look at the Christmas lights tonight. Now big girl pants -- email and snail mail. love light blessings and good health, janet

Happy Wednesday!
Feeling so much better today. The cold is on the run. Had to dig out the shorts again as it was a warm 74-degrees today.
Nat: Those early hours are tough! I had a period of time that I had to work at 5 am every day. Sleep deprived was my middle name. Hopefully your shift will change to something more in sync with your bio-rhythms. Very glad you are not around many people but it sounds like a big office in normal times. Naps are your friend Nat.
Janet: Congrats on your very excellent numbers. Hope you enjoy the Christmas lights tonight. I have seen very few up in neighborhood.
Sally and Carol: High Fives on keeping your exercise programs on track.
Yes, I did... --cook a healthy light breakfast...after I slept in till 10 am! --got busy with the de-clutter job. Sorting, donating box filled, letting go of "stuff" I've been hanging on to for too long. Bless and Release works for clutter as well as pesky people.
Sweet Dreams to All.

Good Wednesday evening, positive π₯π₯!
Jan - feel better soon, enjoy curling up and taking it easy!
Nat - I'm finding that 6 1/2 hours is my "normal" sleep time these days. Are you having to get up at 4?? Yikes.
Janet - Yay for good checkup results and getting back in the groove
Sally - yay for all those steps!
Well, we got some snow overnight! just about 1 1/2 inches, not too bad. It is still on the roof and grass but the sun has largely melted most of it from the pavement now. So, late afternoon I did get in a neighborhood walk, all bundled up.
Yes I DID: --get adjusted at the chiropractor --finally updated the operating system and backed up data from my iPad. (Talk about procrastination, I was shocked to find I hadn't backed it up in over a year!) I'm giving myself a BIG backpat for finally doing this! --nice brisk walk late afternoon (while I waited for the computer to do its thing....it took 3 hours to download this update!) --refill the bird feeders. Discovered some critter got into the small metal garbage can in which I've been storing the birdseed. I don't think the squirrels are strong enough to have popped the lid, but maybe raccoons. Whoever it was shredded part of a plastic bag of sunflower seeds but did not devour all the seeds, just a portion, and spilled a bunch on the ground. Anyway, I shoveled the spillage into a nice little pile under the bird feeder, and today there were a couple of very happy squirrels cleaning up.
Yes I CAN: --get the crankiness out of my attitude. It comes and goes.
Be well! Carol

Good Morning!! Love, light, blessings, and good health. Thursday. December 3, 2020. 750 AM CST
Hi Sally! Hi Nat!
Jan I am so glad you ran off that pesky cold. I love bless and release. Something I need to work on with the multitude of things and people that I cannot control. I did not dress warmly enough for the lights, we will need to reset.
Carol - Snow! Brrr. I am glad you are adjusted and your data is backed up.
ME: WW site let me know that I am falling behind in AP so am going to look for ways to sneak more in. Makes sense as fewer walks, too cold to swim, and yard dormant. There is yard work I could do but I really want my shoulder/arm to heal more first. Yes I did: stay OP, short walk, spinning class, home abs. Lots of law. Yes I can: hang out wash, home abs, weight class and some cardio. Stay OP. More law. Mail care pkg to Mom before things get too crazy. I have put together a little gift of snacks (not all healthy), warm socks, and office supplies (she is a retired writer/editor that still dabbles in her craft). Maybe hit the Farmer's Market this morning. Now, big girl pants and hang out wash, check snail and email. love light blessings and good health, janet

Good Morning!
Janet - Yay for care pkg for Mom. I β€οΈ getting a pack of little blessings to make life comfy! I just was able to DL the "improved" WW app on my iPad after my upgrade session yesterday. Will explore more today...do you sync a tracking device on your app? I was never able to get my Fitbit to do it, but maybe I'll try again now.
Jan - Glad you are chasing away that cold. Ah, bless and release....I like that, will use it today as I attempt to declutter.....rather, as I DO declutter!
Sally - hope you enjoy working out today. It's sunny and cold again, more snow is melting off the yards. I hope to get out for awhile to walk i the brisk air.
Yes I DID: --sleep "well" but not "long". Need more hours and the only way to do that is go to bed earlier. --practice cello for my lesson later....kind of goofed off for 2 weeks, back on track today. --new thing I learned today: it's the squirrels that got into that seed can. I saw one of them trying to muscle up the lid from the ground (and if he were stronger, he'd have done it!) and then hop on top trying to pull up on the handle...he knows how it works, just doesn't have the leverage! I'm relieved to know it wasn't a bigger, more troublesome critter. We can solve this with a heavy weight on top of the can. I'm also mulling over perhaps buying some food just for the squirrels (corn etc), just not sure where I would put it. Or is that asking for more trouble, LOL?!
Yes I CAN: --stay focused to do the things I WANT to do to make my life better. I'm aiming to adjust my perspective. I CAN choose to do these things with joy, rather than a sense of obligation.
Be well! Carol

Good Morning!!! Love, light, blessings, and good health. Friday. December 4, 2020. 552AM CST
Hi Jan! Hi Sally! Hi Nat!
Carol, I am with you on the not enough sleep this week. I don't know what an app is or how to sync one. I do WW on my desktop and log everything by hand. I loved hearing about your amazing squirrels.
Yes I did: circuit class and stay after to use the rowing machine and indoor track. I did not do a home ab circuit or walking breaks. I am making some progress on legal deadlines. I have gotten behind with legal deadlines dealing with administrative deadlines. I love being self employed -- most of the time - but sometimes it is hard being lawyer/secretary/receptionist/IT department etc. I did get some chores and errands done. Mom's package is on the way! I also managed to hit the supermarket after the gym, stock up on healthy low point food, and cook the fish as soon as I got home. Yes I can: be productive on legal deadlines, hopefully walking breaks (maybe even sneak in a swim), spinning class . . . I had been doing so well but too much comfort cooking & eating and jeans are too tight . . . Okay, step one is getting out of this bathrobe and into some clothes! Then law, law, law. . . Love, light, blessings, and good health! janet

Happy Friday Evening. Wow, the weeks are just flying by. Maybe that's good as 2020 really needs to end. I am praying for miracle relief in 2021! My exercise for the day was weeding a low planter, watering, raking leaves, washing a car by hand. Put up some Christmas lights by the front door. This is for the neighbors! Delivered some tangerines, and some homemade macadamia nut caramels. This dry weather is perfect for candy making. Warm days here (mid-70's) but cold nights (high-40's). Covid is getting scary again. My good friend says her 2 kids are flying from Arkansas to visit. Against many rules now. I will not be seeing her in this next month. Thankfully this is not my BFF walking buddy. Hoping all a very good night's sleep. Thinking of you East Coasters and hoping the Nor'Easter doesn't blow too hard on you. Jan
