Good morning friends. Another good sleeping night for which I'm grateful. Also grateful that today is going to be a 'maskless day'...no shopping involved
Pam although I don't get to see Donna often I do keep in touch with her via text and will speak whenever I see her outside while walking. Clorox wipes and Lysol show up at times....I don't look for them but when I see them I will buy one of each. Sometimes there is a 'choice' to be made...this time I was able to score them both. I hear you on the too many computer games LOL.....

Hi Ann and friends,
Another very cold day and I am without heat. Today DH arrives and just in time. I am taking tomorrow and Friday since the cleanout crew will be here and I cannot imagine I will be able to focus on work while overseeing their work. Everything is pretty well labeled and they will take the basement and upstairs first leaving us our floor until Friday. They are going to leave a couple twin beds set up so we can stay here until the 15th and finish up little stuff. Twins mattresses are easy for us to lug out of the house.
I have an old Perry Mason episode going in the background this morning. One of the many perks of working from home. :-) I have two big portable heaters going and the kitchen is still 49 degrees. I am wrapped in a couple blankets and wearing my warm ugg boots!
Ann, I loved the Father/Daughter dance, too! ha ha. I take Doug on a lot of Mother/Son wedding dances, too. Last night even Doug was wrapped in a blanket like a little horse when we watched an episode of The Crown. Oh, Ann, I really think you should try one of the Cape Cod Cafe pizza if you like "thinny" thin crusts and a little more of a crunch to your pizza. THey remind me of good NJ/NY pizzas. Plus, you have that great Pizza machine. What is it called again?
Pam, even on an uneventful day, you get a ton of stuff done! Glad your DH is on the mend. I am sure he is getting eager to get going.
Haven't heard too much more WW changes, but they are effective today, I hear. We have one more Tuesday AM zoom. It's a shame when you have a really wonderful leader and good group that they are disbanding it. Timing is very bad for some folks who feel so isolated. One older woman said this has been her sanity during COVID. :-( I hope we can all stay in touch and there is a FB site, too, with our group. I don't go there often but will start to check it. I also hear changes for LT members but nothing confirmed yet. I think they want a whole "crop" of new full paying members. They must be hurting a lot financially now. I sure hope they "grandfather" all of you if they change LT. You have earned your spots!! Maybe the changes will be made going forward for new LT people. Pam, I will keep on as online member, too. I need the program and $14 is a lot more reasonable. No point paying for what I won't use. Hopefully, they won't change the online fees and program. Well, it makes me extra thankful to have my three good buddies here!!!
Sue, hope you are well and find creative ways to visit your VBF from your cars. That is a great idea!!!
I'll check in again soon.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Hump Day!! We have a chilly one here with temps in the low 30's but a RF in the 20's. Still and all, I will bundle up and go for a walk after I post on here. I just finished up Zoom with Taylor and our classroom and it was good.
Last night DH and I watched "The Voice" and then an episode of "Chicago PD" then tucked into our nice warm bed, where I slept very well except for some disturbing dreams, but they didn't wake me. I woke on my own at 6:30 so I had a bit of extra time this morning and played some games as well as catching up on the news on my tablet.
Ann ~ Glad you will have a day to just stay at home. I only wear a mask once or twice a week, so it isn't quite enough to bother me. I will definitely wear one when I'm out and about, but glad for all the hours I spend at home.
Judy ~ I felt so bad when I read about your heat being out (again). But I did chuckle picturing you wrapped in a blanket wearing your Ugg boots<LOL> We do whatever we have to do, right? I go for my WW WI a week from this Saturday, so maybe I'll hear something about what's new? Being a franchise (versus corporate) though our program is the same, sometimes our rules are different. We'll see ...
Pam ~ So glad to hear your DH is on the mend. I know you will keep an eye on him that he doesn't overdo.
For breakfast I had FF Greek yogurt 'n blackberries w/F1. For lunch I am planning veggie/bean soup. Supper tonight will be cheeseburgers (I have been craving for days which led to the pizza purchase Sunday). I have ground round patties already grilled and thawing, and a couple of whole wheat buns and some Cojack cheese slices. When I get home from my coffee date, they will be easy to put together quickly.
BBL. Make a great day!

Judy sorry that it's cold inside. At least you have a few heaters blankets and DD and H to keep you warm I shall try the pizza. It's called a pizza pizzazz. We use it all the time. I don't mind a thin crust every once in awhile...not fond of deep dish at all or stuffed crust pizza..... Also gotta love the UGG boots I am curious as to how they are going to address lifetime members that WILL NOT zoom and WILL NOT TRAVEL to weigh in period. Raising my hand to both over here LOL...be interesting. Not holding my breath that they are going to simply keep things the way they are. As I say, I have etools through 4/5/2025 unless they take those when I don't 'show up' to get weighed. In that case, so be it. I know when I follow the program I see results...when I stray and follow the Ann Plan, the weight spikes up. I keep an even balance to keep me happy Sue, like you I only wear the mask when out shopping or at a salon. This last visit I just cramped way too much into one day. We went to Market Basket, Shoe Source, Dollar Tree and Hobby Lobby.....by the time I got home I could just about stand! Wearing the glasses only adds to it as I find that I breathe a different way to not get the glasses to fog up! I absolutely LOVE cheese burgers. I know you will enjoy yours. As we were walking in the nice pretty light falling snow, we ran into Donna and Rich (her bfriend) and she said they wouldn't be home much tomorrow. I suggested stopping by and dropping off her bday gift. We went home, picked it up, dropped off miss LuLa and drove down there as I had had it walking in the snow LOL...we visited a bit outside of course. Like me, she was more interested in the balloon shaped like a bday cake LOL...she is all about the 'little things'. She loved the coin purse Carl made her, the coffee and can't wait to use the gift certificate and also I know she adores candy LOL...It was wonderful seeing her face 'light up'. Made our day. Now I'm going to sit and read and relax. I'm so grateful that I don't have to mask up today. I had oatmeal applesauce topped with walnuts for breakfast, lunch will be pita bread hummus and veggie bean soup and supper will be the rest of the chicken with broccoli golden potato (thank you Sue ) and broccoli. will CBL

Hey again all,
I'm working away and did a bit more packing as well. I have Christmas music playing on alexa. Mele Kaliki Maka is playing now. Reminds me of two Christmases spent in Hawaii. Quite different from this year! Lol We are playing this on our ukuleles all through December with out holiday song Monday and Tuesday nights. This group, my WW Zoom and my uke lessons have kept me going and feeling socialized! :-)
D&D and I went for a walk on the beach. It's cold out there. And cold in here! Not much different except for the fact that I sit 1 inches from the portable heater. LOL I wish I had fingerless gloves on now.
I packed a few more boxes and bags today. Found other stuff to pitch. Lots will be leaving soon. I hope I don't regret letting stuff go, but I doubt I will. As Gretchen Rubin says, less is more and outer order brings inner calm.
Our kitchen design is all done. We opted for nice big sink - 36 inches. DH is the master pot and pan washer and this is his request. Fine by me. He likes making sure he can fit big pots and pans well. The kitchen looks great.
Sue, I do think that your franchise will be a different story than the national meeting spaces. I hope so for your sake. Here's a confusing thing- I signed into my account and thought I would switch to ONLINE only for now. Yesterday, the price was $14.99. Today it is $19.99. I called and spoke to a rep. I voiced my strong opinion about the changes in a nice way and asked her why the price was different. Believe it or not, she had completely different prices on her site! Very confusing. Her price is $20.99. I told her I will keep my full plan until the end of December and most likely switch at that point if the price is right. She said she is getting tons of negative feedback already on the whole switch. Ann, I agree with you. . I love the comparison with the Ann Plan and the WW plan. lol I need WW! Even when I am not losing much, I need the support and accountability and program. The Judy Foodie Plan is not a good one, either! lol
I am also one who doesn't do well masked for long periods of time. It makes me appreciate all those workers who do. I have new 3M N-95 masks that fit more snugly and no fogging up of the glasses. THey also tuck right my chin in a secure way and have much better nose wires. I like them a lot and they are much, much better at mitigating the virus. Just a recommendation. They are expensive, but I don't go out much! :-) I don't wear them walking the neighborhood. It's super quiet here and I only see folks at a distance.
TTFN. Oh - I found a king sized electric blanket in a closet here last night. Will use tonight! Hidden treasures still being unearthed.
