Good morning friends. Another great sleeping night. I am half way through the #1 book in the FBI series by Barbara Freethy, and #2 came in so I downloaded that. I have my 'work' cut out for me LOL.......I can get lost in a good story.
No plans...no leaving the house today except to walk. Need to think of what to have for supper....as the rest of the meals are planned.
Waving...and will CBL

Ann and friends, thanks for opening the café today as always. I’m very envious of your day being lost in your good books and I cannot wait for that to be my lifestyle. I always say my dream life would be sitting outside under a cabana on the beach sipping a cold drink and reading for one solid week. You may not be on board with a beach part, but as far as books go I think we are all on the same page! Ann, you could be sitting by the fire watching the snowflakes with your books! Actually that thought sounds great to me too.
I am sitting here waiting for the crew to arrive to start hauling out the contents of my parents life! We are probably saving way too much, but the guy did say he will come back once we decide in the spring. Better to have some time to sleep on it for a bit and at least it is all out of the house and on its way somewhere. We are getting rid of a lot but probably keeping a third of it.
I had the sweetest note last night from my friend in Ohio. She and I were best friends in junior high in for two years in high school and we were inseparable. People thought we were twins! She wrote to say that she’s on the reunion committee and she’d love for me to come back to Reunion even though I left Ohio at the end of my sophomore year. I had lived there since second grade so the area means a lot to me and my parents adored the town outside of Dayton where we lived. The reunion is the first weekend in October if all goes well. Wouldn’t you know that my other reunion in Joplin Missouri Is on the same weekend in October! I have very close friends there and spent 2 1/2 years finishing out high school in that town. So now, I am in quite a dilemma because this is our 50th reunion at both places during the same weekend in October. I will have to make a big decision. I haven’t been to any reunion since my 20th in Missouri. I was so looking forward to going back. But I also would love to see all my Ohio buddies.
I just had a call from the movers and they will be here in five minutes so I guess I had better sign off and face the day ahead. Today both the second floor in the basement will be cleared out. Tomorrow the main floor where our bedroom is will be cleared out. By tomorrow night the place will be mostly empty. We’re keeping a couple of things because we plan to be here over the weekend to finish the little stuff that we’re not having them do. Hard to believe, but it’s finally happening! We are on our way. Be back soon

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Thursday!! We have a beautiful day full of sunshine, even though the temps are hovering right around freezing. There is no wind so it will be a perfect day for walking. I am feeling a bit melancholy this morning, for some reason, and think a walk will be just what the doctor ordered.
VBF and I had a great visit (about an hour) yesterday. I learned how to order Starbuck's on the mobile app (and pay for it) and I just popped in the store and asked for my drink and it was ready and waiting. That will definitely be in my future. Ordering was quick and easy and I got exactly what I wanted! Then we parked in a non-busy part of the parking lot and sat and visited. Both our cars heat up magnificently and even with our windows open we were plenty warm.
DH and I enjoyed our cheeseburgers VERY MUCH last night! It was exactly what I had been hungry for since Sunday, so it was very satisfying. We had fruit bowl with Egg Muffin for breakfast and I plan to make a turkey pot pie tonight with the last of the stuffing on top. Lunch is still up in the air, but everything else is tracked.
I got a notice about my driver's license renewal. They are doing them only by appointment nowadays, and even though my birthday isn't until later next month, I am trying to get an appointment, but it isn't easy. The daytime appointments are booked into March - and for early morning/late afternoon you have to call the day before at a certain time, and so far when I call I don't get through. It is starting to stress me out a little bit, which is most likely sabotaging my mood. So I shall go walk .....
BBL. Make a great day!

Just got back from a glorious hood walk. It's nice out there...sunny, cloudy, and NO WIND to deal with. We did 2.25 miles. Judy actually both places would agree with me. On the beach, so long as I was under an umbrella or had a HUGE floppy hat on, I'm good to go. Just not a fan on sun on my face and in my eyes LOL....I do love the sound of the ocean...so relaxing..... Wow, you have quite the decision to make. What are the odds of both falling on the same weekend! Happy deciding.... You are really moving right along with the clean out......bet you can't WAIT till it's done. Then, you can sit and relax and read till your hearts content Sue, I had to lOL about your cheeseburgers. I wanted to make an American chop suey (or goulash) whatever it is people call it, but Carl insisted on cheeseburgers!!!! I'm good either way, and nobody has ever had to twist my arm to a good juicy burger with cheese air fries and air fried onion rings A meat set for a king and queen LOL. I had a fresh fruit bowl with FF Greek yogurt for breakfast and lunch is pita bread with veggie bean soup. Quick easy and it's all tracked! Nice that you got the Starbuck app working. It's great when things fall into place like that. So sorry about the registry dilemma. You'd thing that if they offer a service it would be easy to get through! I bet that walk is JUST what you need. Pam hope all is well with you. I''m off to eat my soup. The microwave just buzzed and I'm hungry. Later............

Well, poop. I had a nice long post that poofed. Here's a synopsis:
Yesterday, DH's CVT appt. went well and he's done with them until February. The wound is progressing quickly now and it's easy to see progress when the dressing is changed every other day. After the appt., we ran errands, sat in the green room for a bit when we got home, I walked 3 miles and I vacuumed and mopped floors. I finished the Barbara Freethy book and started The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek. Slept like a rock.
Today, other than my walk, I did nothing. I just had no energy, perhaps because of all the physical stuff yesterday.
I HATE when I lose a post!!!
