Watched the Biden group announcements and speeches by nominees...that sure is a low key group except for younger women. Never heard “fight like hell” from two people spoken so quietly.Even Pence has more animation. Biden looks awfully tired. Worried for him. Such a hard job ahead being made incredibly difficult out of sheer pique by the loser milking it for donations. They have sicced IRS on his son now...no end to political corruption. Meanwhile we are heading for 300,000 dead and massive loss of unemployment because Mitch wants five years of immunity for companies whose workers are not protected enough. Arrggghhh.

Chele, thanks for the start. I was having trouble getting to the board earlier. I hadn't seen that error screen with the angry bear for awhile!
Linda, I hope the Supreme Court puts these lawsuits to rest once and for all. It's such a dangerous precedent to set. Is this going to be the norm for every election where the loser won't accept the results? Low jet group? I guess I didn't hear those low jet? speeches. Biden looked good last I saw him, but that was for an interview a few days ago. He does have a hard job ahead and you almost have to wonder why anyone wants it!
Hope everyone has a good evening. I did double duty grocery deliveries with one to DM and the other for me. We both had big enough orders that it would've been a pain to cart from one house to the other. Then I went out to water a plant on the porch and a little lizard got inside. I spent some time chasing him around before he finally figured out where the door out to the porch was. He finally scampered out. They move so fast and I didn't want to worry about a lizard leaping on me tonight!

Thanks for the start, Chele. Happy Birthday to your DF. Today is also my cousin's birthday. She is now as old as I am. My DF would have celebrated 91 this coming March so they were about the same age. Were you tired today after all you and Iggy did yesterday? Are you expecting snow this weekend? We have rain coming and it looked like you also are getting some sort of precip. We also are expecting a cold front.
Becky, what's up with the Texas AG? He seems really corrupt. How did he ever get elected with charges pending? Kind of looks like he's angling for a pardon. And, all the members of Congress signing on to the suit is totally bezerk! What are you hearing from DN?
We had fog too this morning, Linda. Freezing fog. Fortunately, it was on the way back from dropping off Arya and we were only a couple miles from home when we ran into it. Did Micki get his a.m. walk? LOL on forgetting to do the laundry. You've been a little busy. Yep on the political corruption. I wish Kentuckians had done what they should have and elected Amy McGrath. Hopefully they will settle the Hunter Biden thing one way or the other so we don't have to hear any more about it.
Kathy, are you decorated? Does your neighborhood do a lot? Is the 'Noles your only game tomorrow? Tennessee plays Vandy and we might be able to find App State's game. Everyone else is either off or canceled. How's your weather supposed to be this weekend? Is this weather you could walk in? I just heard that the Supreme Court rejected the request to hear the lawsuit. Great news! I'm afraid you're right about this election setting a precedent for future elections. I'm also afraid our democracy may be coming to an end, given how many members of Congress are bending the knee to King Donald. I think Biden is being set up for failure by the current administration. WOW! on the grocery orders. Has that happened before? I'm glad you were able to successfully evict the lizard. We have had that happen and some disappeared before I could trap them. I guess you got your cardio chasing it.
We picked up Arya after 3. I talked to the vet about 1 and he said he extracted 4 teeth, so I know she has a sore mouth. I offered her dinner when we got home and she sniffed it but wasn't interested. All she wants to do is sit on the couch next to me. The growth on her ear got sent to UT for analysis, so we don't know what that was yet. He said that he is concerned that her teeth were in the shape they were and otherwise, she seems like a 10 month old. Dale said she's a puppy with an old dog's teeth. He wants me to switch her to a kibble, but I won't feel comfortable unless I can find one that is organic or holistic without any chicken (I have issues with the Omega 3:Omega 6 profile of chicken). Dale and I have talked about it and are leaning toward finding a high quality kibble to feed her for breakfast and stick with the typical dinner she has been eating. I just need to do some research to figure out what that brand of kibble it should be. The post-op instructions recommend sticking with a soft diet for a week, so we have some time to figure out what to get and get it ordered and shipped. We're expecting a fairly sleepless night. When we got home, I fixed baked peanut crusted catfish and it's a keeper.

Thanks for the start Chele.
Karen Paxton is corrupt but they can't seem to pin anything on him. All the whistleblowers the last time were either fired or quit because of him. I can understand wanting the Supreme Court to investigate possible voter fraud in those 4 states but for the life of me I can't figure out how that affects Texas when we voted for Trump in the first place. I do believe there was wrongdoing because state legislatures are supposed to appoint electors but it has nothing to do with TX. DN hasn't been on FB lately so I don't know how she is doing. Hopefully all is well. Did you hear the Longhorns had to cancel their last game tomorrow because of Covid? I hope Arya does well. We feed Scooter Purina One kibble. Our vet said anything made by Purina would be good but Purina One is on the upper end. It's what our county shelter uses for their cats I know. I have also given Scooter Iams but the Purina One seems to do better when she decides to eat her food.

Oh yes, we have chased rock lizards...and geckos. I try to trap them and release or they die of dehydration. The geckos freeze when discovered and pretend you do not see them!
got some ambition and culled out things I do not wear from the closet...too tight sleeves, shrunk (really), not best look, just sick of it. If I do manage to get smaller iwill buy something! Two shopping bags for GoodWill. Straightened up more of the closet.
karen, hope doggie recovers fast. Isn’t Blue supposed to be good organic food?
watched news a lot until the Supreme Court rejected that case...one state has no jurisdiction over another state's election...well duh. They all knew that. Wonder how much money it raised?
this was the most examined election in forever...our state has been expertly doing mail and signature and double checks for years. But they kept going Over and over because the people who voted in person were mostly Rep. And then the other party vote came later...so it looked like T was winning because they only saw early votes. So it was easy to think something went wrong when the rest came in.
looking for vaccine news too...my state now has the highest infection rate.
