Good morning friends. Slept well last night..no dreams...just not quite long enough. Oh well. It happens. I feel pretty well rested so it's all good.
So looking forward to meeting the new nail tech and getting my gel manicure and pedicure. Appointment is at 10 a.m. After that not sure what we'll do with the rest of the day. It's nice to know that no laundry or cleaning will be involved. I also finished #1 in my series and returned it to the library. I shall start #2 today at some point.
Waving...and wishing all a pleasant and stress free day.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Monday! I just wrote a post that subsequently went "poof" into cyberspace. But I slept well and woke very refreshed this morning. Our anniversary was a great day! I had some steak bits and some squash leftover from dinner which will make a great lunch one day.
I have gotten myself all put together and dressed for the day. I actually put on full make-up this morning because I have to get my photo taken at Secretary of State this afternoon. I have all my paperwork ready to go.
I had yogurt and blackberries w/F1 for breakfast and will probably have veggie/bean soup for lunch. I need to make a new pot of chili this week so I'll have some more lunches. Supper is still undecided.
I have done my school duties for this morning and made a reindeer, sang a song, heard a Christmas story. The kids are so doggoned cute!!
I think I'll bundle up now and head out for a walk. My phone tells me it is 30 dg but with a real-feel of 17, so I think I'll switch jackets and go with the down-filled parka.
BBL. Make a great day!!

BTW ..... I don't know if this affected any of you but when I first got up this morning I got a text message from our school district that Google was experiencing a global outage. I have often wondered what would happen if something like that occurred?? But it came back up a half hour later, so all is well (now).

Back from the nail salon and Mindy did a wonderful job. Her place is immaculate and I felt very safe and comfortable there. We chatted the entire time. A really great experience. In fact, I scheduled just a gel manicure in 3 weeks When I first got onto the computer this morning I couldn't access my google email account. I let it rest awhile and it came back on. Sue happy you had a great Anniversary. Also sorry your post poofed. Hate when that happens. Here it's snowing and very cold out there, so no walking for me unless it stops and heats up! Be sure to bundle up. You are a brave soul LOL. What a fun way to start the day with the kids. I am going to heat up my soup. Will CBL

Hello friends!
We have a cloudy, cool day. It is still 43, just like it was when Debbie and I walked at 8:00 am, so it is unlikely we're going to reach the predicted high of 46. At least it's not raining.
I've been doing laundry and various little tasks on my to-do list and a few that weren't on my list, but still needed doing. I also just changed DH's bandage and it appears the bottom half of the wound has now scabbed over, reducing the length of the wound by about half. We sent pics to the HH nurse, who will be here to change it on Wednesday.
Breakfast today was a whole wheat English muffin with ham and cheese and a boiled egg. Lunch was turkey gumbo from the freezer. Dinner will be rellenos and beef skirt steak with Spanish rice. The scale inched down .2, but it will probably take a day or so for yesterday's party food to hit. Oh well, I enjoyed every bite and didn't eat nearly as much as I could have.
Sue - I forgot to wish you and DH a Happy Anniversary! I think your private celebration was a great idea. So nice that DGS is staying in touch and noted your happy occasion. I did see that Google had problems this morning. Kind of scary when you think about it. I always suspect they got hacked. When I couldn't access my Garmin, that turned out to be the case and it was ransom-ware, so it took them a while to get things worked out. Sorry your post "poofed". That's so aggravating!
Ann - I'm glad the new nail tech met your expectations. Now you can be all trimmed and polished for Christmas. I'm with you on the nighttime snacking. If I stay up more than 4-5 hours after dinner, I'm hungry again. It's one reason why I'm trying to get to bed earlier.
Judy - Your post about DGS's tools made me laugh. I can just see him pounding a nail into the coffee table or something similar. I love that DGD gets to play with her mom's dolls. She will have a blast with them, I'm sure. Hope you accomplished all you needed to get done at the Cape.
Time for a cup of tea and a little reading before the next load of laundry summons me.

Pam sounds like you kept busy today. It's so handu to send a picture off to a nurse or doctor.
So far I haven't snacked. Won't pat myself on the back just yet lol.
Shutting down now. Tomorrow will be a long day.
Sweet dreams.

Please keep Carl in your prayers. He goes in for surgery at 8 am tomorrow to have a fatty tumor removed from his shoulder and a small lump on his leg. Thank you.
