Ugh, Linda. I remember 20” back in 2011. Also glad I am not back in NY. And glad Liz is home.
I went to Kroger around 8 and when I came out at 9 we had some snow flurries but we won’t get much more than a covering.
Becky, the sound of running water is nice. We have a few trails that are nice to walk because of that.
Kathy, you’re right. No super spreader event for me. I am not even sure I will be able to go into the hospital when Iggy has his cataract surgeries in January. Currently, no extra people allowed.
Karen, I hope Osteo goes well today and you didn’t wear yourself out at the gym.
Denise, how much snow did you get?
Liz, how much snow did your area get? Hope you still have power.

Karen, thanks for the start. We got some of that winter storm affecting NY, so it cooled off today. Highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s, so not too extreme. Did you get any weather from it? They had some tornadoes over near Tampa, but it wasn't severe by the time it got here. Hope you had a good Osteo session.
Chele, snow flurries would be nice. It's looking like we may have a warm Christmas Eve with highs near 80. Not very Christmasy! I doubt they will change the hospital rules by January, but at least maybe a lot of the healthcare workers will be vaccinated by then.
Becky, I like walking near the sound of running water too. There is something peaceful about it.
Linda, I have relatives in NY and I don't know how they deal with that much snow. I guess they're used to it though.
Liz, are you snowed in? Hope you have power today.

You never get used to that kind of snow..like a year's worth in 24 hours. Boy do not miss it. I lived 30 minutes from this picture..,..Dsil's deck, pool and backyard...31 inches.
Could not get to sleep, then could not get back to sleep after Micki's 6AM shot...pollution hanging over us because clouds keep the Phoenix winter brown cloud from riding in convection.. Bleah.. I will be turning into pumpkin soon.
We got out to cable store and swapped the old modem and got their new thing instead of back up batteries...a power pack that evidently charges and kicks in for power failure. Plugged all the parts in and fingers crossed..working.
Then we stopped at Sees Chocolates..a little cottage that is only open in cold weather, got a box for the Icelandic Xmas Eve tradition...eat chocolates and read your Christmas books! A restaurant half a mile away has a prime rib Xmas Eve dinner three courses special for take out...thinking about it.

Kathy, AMC is part of our package with Dish but AMC+ and AMC Premiere (whatever that is) are not. AMC+ disappeared from our channels over the weekend, so we're guessing it was just a trial. We still don't have WGN or the local ABC station back. So we're still overpaying right now. I hope the formerly injured UCF QB can help FSU engineer a turnaround next year. Maybe that can help your alma mater gain a few more 5-star recruits on offense. Thanks for the info on the Doctor Who special. I don't know what kind of covid lockdowns the UK has had to impact the entertainment industry. I did see they are starting back their equivalent of Broadway, so I hoped that would mean we might get some British TV shows back. 60s for highs is pretty cold for you. I heard something about tornadoes but didn't hear where. Glad it wasn't close to you.
Our router has been flakey, Becky, but there's no reason to replace it before we have to and right now with the way our internet has been, why bother. How is the arm today? I hope the pain stays away. Same for the knees. How many miles did you walk today?
Linda, WOW! on 31 inches. I don't miss snow either. I remember as a kid having a couple feet of snow and some amazing snow drifts. I didn't have to drive in it then and school was canceled so it wasn't a big deal. Major difference between your weather and your DSIL's. Not surprised the surgery is canceled. I'll have to check out that power pack. Let me know how it works. Can you get your Christmas Eve dinner to go or do they still have outside dining?
Osteo went well, Chele, and I hit a new high on the leg press. And, things went pretty well at the gym. It was a bit more crowded than usual but I still managed to stay far away from everyone. I did see a research study on the CDC website that showed the rate of infection at gyms is 0.0023%, so that made me feel better about going. I heard from Liz and they got 14". She said trains should be running tomorrow so she will go to the chity. No super spreader events here either. I avoid people as much as possible.
Denise, how much snow did you get?
I heard today that TN is 2nd in the country for covid positives per capita. Oklahoma is #1. Not good news. We have been over 10K per day this week but are a bit under 9K today. It's a sad thing when that's an improvement. We had a raw day but not as much rain as yesterday. I did see snow on the mountain coming home but didn't see a flake on my drive. Dale said they had a few snow showers while I was gone. Right knee is a bit unhappy for some reason so I'm using the TENS. After I got home I was texting with DSIL and DN#3 at the same time over different family matters. That shot what afternoon I had. Lady Vols had a 4 pm basketball game, which is highly unusual for a week day. Our internet crashed again a little while ago so if that doesn't come back, I'm not sure what I'll do tomorrow. If it's a typical Friday, I may not do much.

Thanks for the start Karen.
Linda I wouldn't want to live anywhere up north. I'm glad we don't have a local place for Sees chocolate. I would have to eat it for sure.
Chele The sound of running water is so peaceful.
Kathy Our low was 22 and our high was 63.
Karen We lost WGN with DISH but instead of losing ABC we lost NBC and still haven't gotten them back. I would like to get WGN back because I was watching old episodes of JAG, In the Heat of the Night and sometimes Blue Bloods. The arm problem seems to be gone at least for now. I was able to pick up the cat litter container and dump them in the litter boxes. My knee and leg are tight. I was just going to walk 1.5 miles this afternoon but it ended up being 2 miles so I ended up with 4 miles again. I am going to start cutting it back to 1.5 twice a day as the weather co-operates. I hope your internet comes back up tomorrow.
