We are a group of like-minded people that gather to discuss a host of topics from weight loss, to current events. Our thread celebrates liberal diversity, welcomes new friends, and respects all opinions. We count everything from calories to points but, we never count our chickens before they've hatched!

Too tired to write anything other than hello. Took my mom for eye injection. Rough, rough day. Taking my dad to lung specialist tomorrow. So waving to you all, and calling it a night.

Sweet dreams Joyce.
We want to solve the problems of the world, but that has to come after being a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother.

Anne, too tired & stressed to lift a finger to stop you 😜
Joyce, sorry about Mom's rough day that then transfer to you! 😒
I'm on my 3rd day of no power. 5 giant 60+ year old trees are getting cut down in my backyard ( which is making me more than sad & stressed) . The careless tree man knocked down the power line from alley to house ripping the electric meter right off the side of house. Plus knocked out the transformer fuse & thus 3 neighbors were out of power for awhile too. Just decided to leave power off til tree guy gets them down. Do have a generator but it's not working like it should sooooooo, we are roughing it. No internet either so typing on phone not much fun. Anyway I will be back on regular basis once this tree business is finished. We've lived here with these trees for almost 40+ years & I will miss them so darn much. As will my birds & squirrels. I'm trying to think of it as an opportunity to create a new colorful space with some new ideas but just feeling old & tired. Ok that's my rant for the day! 🙃

Oh Linda, my heart would be breaking if those were my trees, and to top it off NO POWER......SHITE!
Living without any power is not fun, the first time we did, 40 years ago, it had some charm for 2 days (as I said "lets play pioneer kids and cranky husband") By the end of the week not so much. Hang in there and beech all you want.
(gentle hugs to you and Joyce and families)
