WELCOME TO REGULAR & NEW POSTERS! This thread is full of encouragement & suggestions. New people, welcome! We encourage you to jump in. One day, one hour, one minute at a time is easier to handle than a week, etc. Lurkers, join in
Our goal is 21 days Binge Free (studies show 21 days to break old habits & start new ones!). Whether we make 21 or one, the point is to learn as we go, replace binges with other things to help us through stressful times. Some days are harder than others & we may slip; that's OK. The Binge Monster is in the shadows waiting to pounce. Hopefully this thread provides inspiration, courage, & support to become a Binge Survivor!
You may see different folks on different "Cycles." A Cycle is a 21 day block of consecutive binge-free days. Stay with us for as many cycles as you'd like.
Everyone's definition of a BINGE is different. The Oxford Dictionary defines a binge as a spree of eating and drinking. To many of us, BINGE is defined as "eating without dignity." The dictionary defines "dignity" as a calm and serious manner or style, showing suitable formality or indicating that one deserves respect. Only you can define what a binge is for you. Going over points, as long as it was done with dignity and journaled (thereforeacknowledged and "owned") isn't binging--it is up to you to decide.
SPECIAL THANKS TO LESLIE5609 for starting this challenge on the Out of Control Board, in August '02, and thanks to all who keep it going.

Good morning! My alarm actually went off for a minute before I heard it this morning. That never happens.
Nancy, I made the quiche several times last winter. I was looking at the recipe yesterday and realized I never followed the instructions; I mixed the cheeses right into the egg mixture. Reading through the comments, someone else said the same thing. It works just fine that way. I do have ramekins but have never used them for baking. BTW, someone had been asking that I bring back line dancing in my Senior Fit warmups so we did a simple 4 move combo to a Christmas song a few weeks ago, then the same routine to Disco Inferno last week. I pulled up the emails from you yesterday; we’re doing The Hustle to Kool and the Gang’s Celebration today and Wednesday.
Lori, you could do the weights on the bike as long as form and range of motion don’t suffer. I tend to agree with your husband. I think I would be much more hesitant to do things if I didn’t already have the virus. What’s happening with the hospitals in LA is downright scary. Morgan Freeman mentioned on Twitter that his mother was in an ambulance waiting in the hospital parking lot. She waited 5 hours, was checked out by someone that was not a doctor, and sent home.
Kathy, hopefully it’s D3 for you. I’m at D1, no sugar added and will keep calories in check today.

Good Morning! My crockpots have been busy. Yesterday, I made pork loin with pineapple in one crockpot, then I put together another crockpot with lentil soup, turned it on last night before bed and today, making chili. I’ll be set for awhile....
Nancy, I just made the mug cake yesterday...1 tbsp of flour, 1 tbsp of cocoa powder, 1 tsp of baking powder, 3 tbsp of egg beaters (or 1 whole egg), 1 tbsp skinny syrup (I also did a squirt of SF chocolate syrup) Bake at 350 for about 10 min. You can make these in the ramekins also. I made two yesterday in Cuisinart, they came out good, but better in the oven - The tops of cake got a little overdone, I think next time I do it in the cuisinart, I would use lower level at about 300 - 325. Feel free to call or text, if you have questions. When I first made the cheesecakes, I used three different sizes - they all came out good!
Jan, It is very scary out there, I’m trying to just focus on what I can control.....I have to say, I am trying to make the best out of staying at home and Nancy is right, the time just flys by....

Jan - So glad your ladies are enjoying the line dances. I've been working my way thru them, 4 each day. Just another way to keep moving.
Lori - Thanks for the recipe. So now I have three to try - the mug cake, the cheesecake and the quiche.
