Huff Post... President Donald Trump said he doesn’t think Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, who has been accused of sexual harassment by several women, did anything wrong. In an interview with The New York Times on Wednesday, Trump defended O’Reilly after the Times reported that O’Reilly or Fox News paid five women a total of about $13 million to settle claims of sexual harassment or inappropriate behavior over the years. “I think he’s a person I know well — he is a good person,” Trump said on Wednesday. “I think he shouldn’t have settled; personally, I think he shouldn’t have settled,” Trump added. “Because you should have taken it all the way. I don’t think Bill did anything wrong.”

I really hope karma is currently taking care of his buddy Bill O'Reilly and that he will soon be off the air for good. Did anyone hear about the brother of Betsy Devos (who was also a huge campaign donor) that went to some island to meet with a Putin associate a couple of days before the inauguration? Seems like stuff just keeps piling up. And I heard Anderson Cooper say once but it was never mentioned again that the lawyer that Flynn hired was very vocal about not supporting Trump during the campaign. Anyone know more about that? Seems like an odd choice of counsel if Flynn and Trump are still on good terms.

I did hear about that.....we will see how it plays out.
Rachel is doing some awesome investigative reporting......go girl!
"Maddow’s show beat Fox News Channel’s The O’Reilly Factor in the news demo for a third consecutive week.
For the week, Maddow’s program averaged 2.70 million total viewers and 624,000 viewers in the news demo. She beat O’Reilly’s by 40,000 25-54 year-old viewers. Maddow’s show aired five nights last week, while O’Reilly’s aired only Monday through Thursday; Friday telecast was broken out as a special.
In her 9 PM timeslot, FNC’s Tucker Carlson Live clocked 2.69M viewers and 537K news demo viewers, while CNN’s AC360 logged 1.22M viewers and 433K news demo viewers."
If there is a silver lining to "TRUMP WORLD" it is that more people are waking up and getting involved with politics. This is a Republic, everyone and I mean everyone, should be aware of what is going on in the Country.

So, I want to make sure I have this right. The liar-in-chief/sexual pervert doesn't think another sexual pervert did anything wrong by harassing and sexually attacking women? You don't say? Could it be because sexually attacking women truly IS okay with both these lower life forms?
Pervs of a feather...

If there is a silver lining to "TRUMP WORLD" it is that more people are waking up and getting involved with politics. This is a Republic, everyone and I mean everyone, should be aware of what is going on in the Country. I hope that trend will continue. It would truly be a silver lining. Far too many people in this country are totally complacent about the political factors that have such an impact on their daily lives. It gives me hope too to see that the demographic for Rachel is younger than the typical demographic for Faux. But whether people are tuning in to mainstream media, reading online, or getting it from cable political shows it's good to know they are tuning in and starting to pay attention. Most younger voters (I hope) are too savvy to remain bamboozled by false tweets, alternative facts, and a shouting, petulant press secretary.

Bannon removed from the National Security Council. I thought Preibus would be out before Bannon, but I may be wrong. Of course this doesn't mean he's out of the WH, but it is a sign that gives hope he could be getting closer to being out.
Now if I was one of those people who likes to spread conspiracy theories, I would speculate that the noose is tightening about the Russian connection and Bannon is going to be tossed under the bus next. Who knows? It could be something like that, or maybe Ivanka and Jared are just tidying up the West Wing and looking towards needing a bigger office.
