The Mind🌷Body🌷Spirit connection emphasis is creating balance, wholeness, and coherence in our lives. It acknowledges that how we think, what we feel, and what we believe create the life we live and the world around us. 🌷
Let's get started! We'll post:

🌷 Good Morning, my very dearest angels and friends:
Just caught myself up on the goings-on within the group for the last couple days. I sat down to dig in to some business email replies before I head off to a job and decided, first, to check MBS. So glad I did. Checking in with you'all grounds me. Brings me back to basics. Instead of thoughts of computer file corruption, sales taxes, invoices, and so on, I'm thinking about Mind, Body, and Spirit. And I want to thank you for that!
Carol: I, too, love your affirmation "It's a journey, not a destination". So perfect a thought. Not to worry about that birthday. What do they really mean anyway. "The older you get, the better you get. Unless you’re a banana.” (Betty White)
Pat: Very interesting to hear about your tear duct thing. I was diagnosed with dry eye a number of years ago by my optometrist. He recommended a few OTC drops to try. I may go see an ophthalmologist. Its not every day for me, but when its bad, its awful. My eyes burn and I can't even bare to keep them open. Shutting them doesn't really help unless I fall asleep. I, too, don't really want to use medication to make it better. I've never heard of what you describe. Will your tear ducts stay plugged?
Lisa: So happy to hear you have some little seedlings to attend to. So much fun! Your arrangement sounds lovely. I remember one you described from last year where you used hosta leaves. I never would have thought of that. What a great use for hosta leaves!
So, its another rainy, cold day here. The sun was out briefly yesterday afternoon. That was that. This too shall pass. In 3 months I'll be praying for rain.
As the storm churns the surface of the sea, the deep blue waters below the surface remain calm. Just as my life may appear hectic on the surface, I affirm that there is a place within me that is always harmonious and peaceful. I can go there when I choose. Suzanne
Affirmation - It's a journey, not a destination. Fitness Report: Uh. err. um. Did someone say something? Health Goal: Take care of my mind with positive and healing thoughts; my body thru good foods and movement; and my soul thru meditation. Gratitude: for my angels here.

Good morning to all! Suzanne, thank you for starting us up. It is good to see you back and feeling upbeat. It sounds like the paperwork got you somewhat overwhelmed. It is good to chip away and start seeing wood on your desk, good luck with maintaining your positive mindset. The plugs do not go into the actual tear ducts (which I always thought) but into the drainage hole which is nearby, which funnels excess tears down the back of the throat. They stay in for as long as you need them, but if something goes awry it is easy for the doctor to pop them out. So far so good. I woke up with a bit of a painful eye last night, but my OTC drops calmed it down right away. Lisa, how was your luncheon? Did the rain get in the way of a beautiful gardeners gathering? Good morning to Carol and anyone who rejoins or joins us! Daily Affirmation - I am productive and will see wood on my desk again today. Fitness Report - weight training with Margaret Richard and my own PT yoga stretches. Health Goal - count my veggies and fruits. Gratitude - almost done with our annual clerk recruitment. Whew talk about paperwork.
