"The number of members of the press who have lauded the actions last night as "presidential" is concerning. War must never be considered a public relations operation. It is not a way for an Administration to gain a narrative. It is a step into a dangerous unknown and its full impact is impossible to predict, especially in the immediate wake of the first strike."
That is MORE than troubling. If all it takes to be presidential is to make a big show of blowing things up, the guy down the street from me is 'presidential' every July 4th! And, even a few weeks before and after! Who knew?
Here's one thing I do know. Somebody is going to make a whole lot of money replacing those cruise missiles. Hmmm.

The speech Dummfy gave last night was the biggest crock of cow pucky........A Syrian child who is dead from poison gas is a child of God, one who survives the open waters and seeks refuge, is a plague on humanity.
Which begs the question: Is the only good Syrian child/baby a dead Syrian child/baby? Please make yourself clear on that point Mr. Trump.
(What humane person thinks that way?)

Anne, that's really interesting about Tweety's reading ability. I had not heard that before, but it doesn't surprise me. That might shed some light on his constant seeking of attention and trying to build himself up, because no one who has much self-esteem could possibly be as desperate for attention as Tweety is.
