Linda, how is Micki doing today? How are the knees after the exercises?
Becky, Monday looks a little snowy and cold for your part of the US. Better be ready to layer up. It might be a 2 cat 1 dog night. Iggy has IBS. He does not have the patience to elimimate foods and add them back in one by one. So he suffers. 🤷♀️
Kathy, I use the exercise ball for stretches as well as modified tummy crunches, butt crunches, wall squat, shoulder raise, chest press, pelvic tilts, leg press. I even found ball yoga once on you tube. I call the nieces and nephews “the kids” and they are mid 30s, late 20s.
Karen, how was Osteo? Is the new Earth Fare same as the old Earth Fare?
Almost Friday, Liz.
Denise, are you working this weekend?
We received another 2 inches of snow overnight. The highways were like bumper cars this morning - crashes everywhere. Iggy bent over in the shower and threw his back out. He goes to the chiropractor tomorrow. I shoveled the stoop and walkway and a path down the driveway to the mailbox. The cars are all wheel drive so they can just trek through the snow. The snow blower is too big for me to handle or I would use it.
Have a good day.

OMG, I just saw video of the 100 car pile up on icy I35 in Fort Worth, TX. Horrifying! Those people must have been terrified.

Chele, thanks for the start. We used exercise balls for awhile in Jazzercise, but it didn't catch on for some reason. I remember doing crunches and chest presses on them, but I don't remember what else we used them for. Sorry to hear about Iggy's back and hope the chiropractor can help. I just saw video of the Ft. Worth pile up. That is absolutely horrifying. So many semis on top of cars. Your weather sounds awful too. Be careful out there.
Karen, hope you have a good Osteo session and a safe trip.
Waving to everyone. It's warm and muggy here again, but I'm not complaining. It's better than dealing with snow and ice.

Forgot to mention that I saw a wood stork wandering around the pond today. I haven't seen one in a long time.

Thanks for the start, Chele. Not surprised about the pileup in DFW area. Death toll is now 6. There are so many high overhead bridges there that even a little ice can cause minor problems. There was also a 26 car pile up in Austin but no fatalities on that one. Sorry about Iggy's back. How close is the chiropractor? I hope your roads will be ok. So, you had 4 inches on the ground and it's too cold to melt? I hope you don't have back problems from your having to assume the shoveling duties. Is Iggy's tummy feeling better? I have an exercise ball that I used a lot when we first moved here but not much since. I probably should. Osteo went fine. The drive was another matter. More on that later. They are still working on getting stocking levels up at Earth Fare, but otherwise it looked about the same. As a long time customer, they gave me 20% off my entire purchase. It helped that I took my reusable Earth Fare bag with me. That was a nice surprise. The were also giving away cotton Earth Fare bags, so I got one of those as well.
Becky, isn't Texas 45 the toll road they built around the city? That came along after we moved. Did you get any winter precip or just unseasonably cold? Don't blame Scooter for wanting to be inside during that kind of weather.
Oh, WOW! on the Wood Stork, Kathy! I've never seen one of those. Did you have a chance to snap a photo? Sorry about your still being warm and muggy. We had steady rain just about all day and it continues into the evening. That would have been bad enough, but the low tire light came on yet again when I was about 1/4 from home. So I came back home to use the air compressor and it must be having a problem because the pressure didn't change. I ended up at the tire place and it was the same tire, so I don't know if it's a tire problem or a rim problem. I guess I'll take it back to the tire place and have them do a rotation so we can figure out how to proceed. I'll try to do that this coming week. Fortunately, I was only about 10 minutes late to Osteo and they had a gap anyway, so that worked out ok.
Linda, sorry about the migraine. I guess allergies are still a problem there. How is Micki? Maybe his lack of energy was also allergy related. One of the folks from the local basset rescue had a sick 10 year old dog earlier in the week and he has just been with her for about a week and a half so she had no idea on his medical history. Last night he pooped out an intact sock. Mystery solved. She said she may need to work a bit on housecleaning🙂. I thought I noticed a briefcase on the video of Pence being ushered out but didn't think that it might be the nuclear one. The house managers finished their case today, so now we start hearing the excuses. Josh Hawley said something on Fox News about it being a kangaroo court. I thought if that's the case and you're a juror, what does that make you?
How was the neuro appointment, Liz? Are your covid numbers continuing to climb? Our numbers and positivity rate are both way down but I don't think there is as much testing going on.
Denise, how is your weather? We have a lot of ice in TN and neighboring KY. Fortunately, we just got rain.
The rain and tire problem made for a long day and I'm beat. I have some laundry to do and that may be it. I stopped at the sushi place on the way home as an early Valentine dinner and have enough for dinner tomorrow. I'm glad I won't need to cook.

Thanks for the start Chele. Today it stayed between 30-32 all day with freezing rain a good part of the day. The porch, ramp, vehicles are all frozen up plus icicles hanging off the tree. Not a warm day at all with winds. I found walking videos on YouTube to do my workouts today. We need to go to HEB tomorrow after we make sure the roads are okay. I don't think our roads are icy but we will probably wait until around 10 to go. Instead of just buying enough for the weekend I will try to get enough to last through Monday. I'm sorry Iggy threw out his back and you had to shovel snow. That was an awful crash. There are 6 people dead at last count. They are investigating to see if the road was even pretreated for ice last night.
Karen Yes 45 is the one built around the city. We had freezing rain and it is messy yucky out there. Thank goodness we didn't have to go anywhere today.
Linda I hope your migraine gets better soon. I have had a bad headache today.

Sending anti-migraine & anti-headache waves to Linda and Becky.
Kathy, good looking bird in your avatar.
Becky, yuk, on the freezing rain. I am glad you stayed home. Good luck on the roads tomorrow. Stay safe.
Karen, that tire has become a problem. Good plan on finding out if it is the tire or rim. The chiropractor is about 20|25 minutes away. He can go in when he wants so we can assess the best time. Definitely after rush hour. 20% off is fantastic and a free bag. I saw that KY was full of ice. I didn’t realize TN got hit too. There was a video of a guy in his parked car in KY and you could hear the sleet coming down. He rolled down his window and there was a sheet of ice, so it looked like the window was still up. Uck! The back is sore after the little bit of shoveling which is why the whole driveway didn’t get shoveled. I could feel the muscles starting to seize up again.
