This thread is for all of us who have been on the weight loss merry-go-round quite a few times. We have banded together to make this our FINAL time. We offer support & motivation, WEIGHT LOSS TIPS, food ideas – whatever you need to make it your FINAL time. If you start the day’s thread, please copy and paste this paragraph, with the following 2021 Goals:
Carole: 1.) Journal Daily, thoughts, feelings, ideas 2.) Track daily, Good, Bad, Ugly, HONESTLY 3.) Move every day, 10-30 minutes, as able 4.) Limit/Reduce Alcohol, All of it! 5.) Be thankful for something - every day.
Gabrielle: 1. Wellness--take steps each day to address better wellness (moving, attention to my eating, getting sleep, etc.) 2. Debt-- continue to take steps to eliminate debt (including the kids college debt that we are covering) so that I have no debt when I retire 3. Connectedness-- each month have a plan to stay connected to those who I care about (maybe dinner once/month after COVID, Zoom, phone calls, etc.) 4. Creativity -- seek out projects that keep me using the creative side of my brain (knitting, paint parties?, etc.) 5. Journaling/Self-Awareness--find a way to journal my thoughts and to think through challenges and opportunities
Sue: 1. Get moving - plan to utilize my Cubii 3-5 times per week at least 2. Moderation - limiting junk, snacks, wine and all things I know that sabotage my success 3. Daily Gratitude - continue our November daily gratitude. 4. Start a journal - my "Life & Apples" journal will arrive later in the week. 5. Be more "present" - in life, in my journey, with family & friends, in all aspects of my world.
Jenny: 1) I'm moving to a clean eating plan like more veggie dishes and less red meat. 2) I pulled out my Bob Harper from the Biggest Loser's " Yoga for weight loss Dvd" and do that in the evening since it's pouring down rain here. 3) Cut way back on the wine at nights, they sell those tiny little bottles that have 5oz in them and limit myself to only 1-2 per day, that can work right? 4) Track everything even if I'm in the negatives and hold myself accountable.
Christine: 1. Cardio exercise daily (walk, stationary bike) 2. FOLLOW the WW Plan using Honesty. 3. Daily gratitude - Say something NICE each morning
Karen: 1. Take one step at a time and be kind to myself. 2. Move by getting my kayak on the water at least one day per week... it will be more as the weather warms. 3. Stick to my intermittent fasting schedule. 4. Try to sleep reasonably.
Shelly 1. Be more organized at work. Never leave with stuff on my desk 2. Be there for ppl when they need someone to lean on 3. Stick with WW plan!!! No matter what!!!! 4. Be a better influence on those around me

SENSIBLE SATURDAY ~ Let's stay sensible ladies! I plan on keeping my water bottle handy as I move through the house, getting it ready for tomorrow. Also as I get most of the heavy cooking done today.
I do have a hair appointment at 10 AM, so that will interrupt my day - so to speak - but it is definitely needed, so I will make it work!
Tracy will bring Zoë home this morning - and stay up to watch her when I leave. As soon as I get back she will go to bed, and Patti will come pick Zoë up to save me a trip back out! I am not sure what's for dinner - but I'll figure that out as I go along today!
Oh actually, Sam just sent me a message, her 9:30 cancelled, so I'll go in earlier!

Good morning!
Spending a bit of time waking up before heading out around 5:30 am to meet a few people for our long run on the trails. Yes, it is raining! Again, you can't believe how good a hot shower feels after a day like today....I am going to be thinking about that as part of my motivation to finish, LOL. I did get to see DS21 for a while yesterday--we went grocery shopping together and had a cup of coffee. He was in his car, I was in my car, we had the windows rolled down and just chatted while drinking our coffee. It was so nice to catch up, hear about his work, talk about the future. It was a great beginning to my day. He is SO much happier than he has been in a while and feeling hopeful ---very grateful to have had that time with him.
Carole: I was mixed up on the days---sounds like TOMORROW is the big celebration! Well, glad that you have today and yay for getting your hair done! It always feels good--and to have the appointment a bit earlier is nice. Sounds like you will have some time with Miss Zoe today? Nice! I hope that your day was a good one yesterday with some time off and feeling good about how the week ended.

Carole: I am wondering if Zoe might be adding her "touch" to some of the planning today? I am sure that she will have ideas Regardless, I remember how nice it was last time to have the turkey, etc. done the day before and I hope that you have that same ease with tomorrow's event.
Sue: Sleeping in today (I hope that you do)? You deserve that time after your busy week...and, again, I look forward to seeing the painting that both of you do!
Jo: How sweet of Em to bring you roses! Glad that you are still able to work with the brace---that is a good thing!
Christine: Hope that you have a good day and some YOU time!
Shelly: Hoping that you are doing well and that the super cold weather is not causing too much trouble for you and/or your family.
Jenny: Thinking about you today as you continue with planning and preparing for the celebration of DMIL's life. Please do be careful with your travelling--we have seen some of the severe weather in TX and it sounded like you might be travelling there?
Hello to all who follow. Hope that you have a "sensible" day and I look forward to seeing you again later today or tomorrow. I will be doing some meal planning this weekend--love having the extra time to do some investigation about it all. I did buy some lobster tails for Sunday's dinner--my guilty pleasure (probably my most favorite food on the planet!). Have a good day!

Jo: Hope the protein powder helps, I think mine is helping too! YAY for getting the MRI scheduled... I had no clue things were still so backed up for scheduling "due to Covid"! They called for my mammogram - they are already scheduling for JULY! UGH! Sorry, this does not make sense to me! People can't get diagnostic testing done any quicker than that?? Good for you continuing your Bright Line Eating, and no alcohol! Yes, I am working from home - NO word on when we might return! Yeah, having the girls here while I am working is kind of "iffy" depends on the mood of the day! LOL Most days I am not home alone with them - but just having them here is weird. Yesterday Tracy went to bed, so I did have Eden, but I only worked until 11, so she had some tablet time and watched a movie...
Sue: Yes, it seems that Tracy's boss has made the right decisions. So far each person getting their 2nd shot has had a few symptoms/reactions and were glad to be home! Right, Tracy & Ken had no issues with the 1st... I figure if I take 1/2 day Good Friday, I can get a jump on pies. We will be doing a bake sale for Easter - in some way-shape or form!
UGH, Sorry MS365 is still giving you trouble! That's what my issue was for the longest time - that's why I got a whole new PC (in IT) they had to give me a PC that had a newer installment of MS365! Remember my Excel, and Word, just kept closing on me?
Oh this bologna is regular bologna, but fresh... not packaged Oscar Mayer, Ken's store sells the "good stuff"! LOL It's gone now!! I had a sandwich yesterday to use it up! It didn't hit the tracker too hard, and dinner was all good - so, it worked!
Oh yes, Jeff came back to plow. I had asked him to come Tuesday to make a dent in the ridge at the end of the driveway. Last week when Tracy tried getting in the driveway - she slid and hit the snowbank! So I didn't want that to happen again... so I had him come take care of that. While he was here he did the whole other side... knowing he'd come back to clean up in the morning.

Sue: LOL Trust me, wishing the week away is not my thing - but YES, so glad when Friday comes around! I worked until 11, now wish I hadn't... with Deb out, Steph had questions about her coverage of Deb's work - so (of course) she called ME! UGH! Took some of my morning time - not a lot, but enough that had I not been there she would have had to call Crystal! I say let the boss help every now and then! But whatever... Accounting had not posted when I "left" but it's fine... when I clock in Tuesday I will finish up that work before moving on the the Friday/weekend stuff!
Gabrielle: Oh dear... yes I do hope that yesterday was very limited work-work for you! UGH to all the rain! I know you "need it", but to have to run on the trails in mud - NOPE - not a fun run for you! {{{hugs}}} Be careful out there!
Oh how I wish the vaccines were across the board - across the country - same rules! Here in MA now they are allowing a "companion" to get a vaccine if they bring the elderly! I get it - but again... we've got grocery store workers and essential workers NOT able to get shots yet - due to limited quantities, but then they open it up to whoever drives the old folks! UGH! Then we hear that one place had to dispose of vaccines because they were about to expire... somewhere in Boston... just makes no sense! Oh and the farm workers... not on the list yet... but hey, if I lived next door to an elderly person, I could offer them a ride and get one - no questions asked?? Just another MA issue I guess! Not to mention, why make an appointment if you aren't going to show up for the shot?? I don't get it!! I mean maybe one or two here and there, can't get a ride, or can't make it, but to have SO MANY not show up??
LOL NOPE, I asked his blood type, he asked "why"? I said "curiosity"! LOL Next up Tracy... but let's face it... my Tracy will most definitely have SOMETHING no matter what blood type she is! She does tend to be on the more "dramatized" side of things - always!
Oh I do hope by June you can get back to in person meetings/workshops. We have a few around here, but like yours the closest would be about 45 minute drive. I did NOT get outside yesterday! My Eden is petrified of walking down our road/hill in the snow! It is somewhat steep and she feels like she's going to fall. I don't get it! She's a "different" kind of kid! She would not go for a walk with me! I got over 4k steps, mostly in the grocery store I think! LOL Yes, we now have a 7 year old! ♥ Today is their annual trip to the butterfly place, they go every year ON her birthday. The warmest place to be on a cold February day! Tomorrow is the family dinner/party.
Nice, hope you had a good shopping trip with DS21. Helping him stock up??
Jenny: {{{{{hugs}}}}} So glad you were able to take the time to be there for Kerry, and the family. Oh how nice, that you CAN have a funeral! The fact they will do a virtual one for elderly folks is great too! Nice that your work sent a bouquet.
Gabrielle: LOL Yes we are "landowners" in FL! LOL It's 2 small lots that DMIL owned. When they were doing the estate, no one wanted the property - Ken didn't want it either! SO I threw it out there to the kids... knowing that we didn't actually have to pay cash out for it - they deducted what Ken's share was - whatever... anyway... all three kids were "interested", but mostly Matthew. So when the time came to make the decision... I let my heart make it, more than my head! LOL Anyway, come to find out both of Ken's brothers were interested... so rather than "fight" over who was buying what - we did it as a three way split. Now the three boys are all 1/3 owners of 2 lots in FL! Trust me, it's not a big deal... yet. Apparently weeks after the land was transferred to the boys, someone called with an offer to buy it! OMG! It had been for sale for YEARS... and no one wanted it... now that it has transferred, I guess someone is (maybe) worried that new comers will come in and build?? If anything I think it will be sold and we will make a profit... but I am holding fast to keeping it - and SOMEDAY, having a place to go in FL! Neither one of us (Ken or I) want to LIVE in FL... but to own a small place that we could basically go whenever we wanted, sounds pretty darned good to me! LOL So hey, who knows, SOMEDAY, we may have a place we can gather At.No.Cost.! HAHAHAHA
OH NO! More rain WHILE running?? You my dear are too good!!

Good morning Gabrielle: Please be careful out there in the rain!! So is DS21 living on his own now? I thought he was living with friends? Glad you could just meet and share some time together ♥
LOL I am sure Zoë will want to help in some way today. Yes, I will get most everything done today - so tomorrow I just have to throw it in the oven!
Mmmmm enjoy the lobster tails tomorrow!
OK I need to get moving... trying to get my tablet ready, so while I am getting my hair done, I can maybe listen to a ZOOM for Relay Kick-Off. I forgot it was today when I made the hair appointment - but if I can, I can, if not, oh well! Right now, getting my hair done is more important than a relay meeting! I NEED to figure it out ahead of time, as I do NOT want a camera on me while I am getting my hair done !LOL
I do want to hear how they think this will work this year... they are saying something about it being a drive through event?? Just not sure how that would work... and if I care to set up for an event that will be a drive through? Just need to hear the HOW of it all...
OK Out of here. ♥hugs♥

Good Morning - and yay for Sensible Satruday!! YAY for Saturday all together!!! LOL I skimmed the posts from the last few days and might have missed something here and there so thank you ahead of time for being patient if I repeat a question that was already answered lol Sue - sounds like you had daily OT going on! And with all the snow, ice, and bad weather it must have been a challenging week to head out the door that early. I was just mentioning here how 'nice' it is to drive to work in daylight - the sun seems to be rising before 7:30 most days (trust me, we don't see any SUN but it's light out) - our temps continue to sound like Carole's - low teens might get to 20s just darn cold and icy. Every day it snows here - but no real concerns for accumulation. Hoping today you are home and can RELAX. No plans for Valentine's Day. Although, DD24 received roses from Ben. Awww - I thanked him because now I get to enjoy them as she put them on our kitchen table - beautiful! I might try to convince DH to do take out steak dinners tonight. It's just us. I would even make steaks but there is no grill - our outdoor one is buried - the patio is buried - the rest is just all ice - but I remember last year Gary received that gift package of Omaha Steaks - dinner for two - and I carefully followed every step of directions. Turned out pretty good. Both Girls work a shift tonight at the Brewery. I took some time off last Wednesday to help DM - we had a snow filled morning and she was scheduled for her 1st COVID vaccine. I text her to see what time her appointment was? She replied she was cancelling. Her blood pressure was elevated and she felt light headed and weak. Ohhh boy. I offered to leave work to get her checked - but really wanted her to keep that vaccine appointment! I left work at Noon, drove up to get her (30 min drive, in the snow) she was acting very odd and helpless - hmm? - while in the car the doctor's office called and told her to stop one of her new meds. She was so relieved! She said it was making her sick - it was Celexa! The anti-depressant. I checked the side effects, very mild racing heart, light headed, nausea which naturally DM read the same and claimed (ahem, ??) to have EVERY single side effect times 10! Seriously? What.Ev.Er. I then researched 'typical blood pressure' numbers for over 65 yr old. DM is 81 yr old. Her blood pressure numbers, if accurate, were NOT elevated!!! The doctor's office was NOT concerned. They encouraged her to go get her Vaccine as they tough to come by - so I drove her to the large distribution center - unless she required assistance walking, I was not allowed inside. She popped out of my car and went right in when she saw her friend entering too! Oh? So much for being weak and light headed! I honestly think she was an anxious mess over how to get to the center for her shot. Because of the snow. Which, as many of you know, is never a big deal around here - but I get it. She should not be driving in snow at 81 yr old. Anyways, afterwards, she was FINE. FINE. FINE - so I took her back home, got her settled, and she was miraculously cured. Sigh. Carole - that is the reason I think many COVID vaccine appointments are no-shows. If it's the elderly, and the weather is cold and icy out, they trust their own judgement and don't go outside to drive themselves there. By the way - still no word on my appointment and I'm in 1a. I have a March 3 one but I'm hearing many folks are pulling a 'Just Show Up' and bump out those with appointments - grrrr - I'll probably be bumped. DD24 Carly is scheduled for Feb 20 - because she works with Disabled Adults on the side, she is immediately eligible, and her agency is hosting the clinic for their workers. I'm glad for her. I'm really hoping the bottle neck of getting the vaccine to this part of our state opens fairly quickly - it's getting so annoying.

Jenny - I saw on FB about your DMIL. {{{HUGS}}} to you and Kerry. I saw earlier you had posted they were moving her to Hospice wing but I didn't realize she was in danger of such poor health. I thought it was just the severe dementia and lack of self-care?? When you have more time I hope you can clarify what happened? And wow, how quickly! I'm thinking there's a 'DALLAS, OR' Since you went in person to talk to DFIL when she passed? Be careful, if I'm wrong, and it's really Dallas, TX - they are having horrible snow/ice storms in TX and near our Shelly! Jo - Wow. That is a lot of sadness and loss in your family? What happened to DBIL? What was the cause of his abdominal pain? I'm so sorry that was going on, AND your poor poor oldest Sister! How terrible for her! How hard to know she has moderate Alzheimer's and I do remember you saying she is a Retired Teacher near me! ♥♥ Good luck with all you have going on - and good for you returning to BLE but tweaking it. I'm just maintaining here. Up #2 lb down 2#s. I do Track every day. And nothing good just yet but I will keep focusing on making healthier choices daily. Gabrielle - good luck with that RAINY RUN today - ahh, yes, a warm shower after would be a great motivator. Sounds like you had a very enjoyable visit with DS21. ♥ Yes, we are off on Monday!!! I AM SO HAPPY. It's just so hard to leave every day and know I work in a not-so-nice hostile work environment. I keep my head low and just try to do my job. This past week was BUSY with a lot of steps in helping test our ELs - we finished 2 out of 4 domains of the test for our students. Glad yesterday worked out - on Fridays all students are Remote so we arranged to have the EL students whose families chose to remain Remote come in just for their test. A few problems - misunderstandings - such as only the older sibling being brought in, not the younger one too as we asked. I called the families and tried my best to explain they needed to also bring the younger one, and pick up BOTH at 11:00. Whew, it worked. They did. And after much running up and down to the academic wing, the ESL teacher and I finished. Meanwhile, Queen B who was SUPPOSED to be the coordinator of this whole project, held a Zoom training on Instructional Interventions - scheduled the exact time - and text me asking why I wasn't logged on to HER training during the training. Um, because I'm testing the ELs today like we discussed last December and had scheduled last December for this exact day? She text back, "No worries". Ha!! Trust me, I was NOT worried. Geeze Louise.

I have ONE contract report left, and one 'have to do' work-work report this weekend. Plus taxes. But not today. Today I am taking a day off.
I finished Netflix's Virgin River season 2. Loved it. So much better than Season 1. Also finished the Queen's Gambit. LOVED that one! I told a friend not to worry if you don't understand Chess - the Queen's Gambit is all about the drama of the main character - it is VERY good!! Looking to start 'Firefly Lane' on Netflix next. I like Katherine Heigl especially in Romantic Comedies and Dramas. Shhh, don't tell me anything - I see there's already a Season 2 so I'm behind on what's what. Meanwhile, Linds and I are laughing hysterically with Schitt's Creek. It's older, I know, but oh so funny and really, laughter is the best medicine, right? When I wake at 2AM and can't sleep (happens all the time) I have been reading 'Bridgertons' which is so much lighter and happier and not nearly as raunchy and sex-filled and graphic as the Netflix version. Seriously, WHY? Why did they re-write it for the series?
Oh, update on the leaking tub/contractor since we have been waiting since what, Christmas??? They had to place a special order for the new tub as apparently it's an odd size not sold locally. The new tub will not arrive until MARCH 8th. Ugh. So I asked them to please don't start demolition until the new tub is closer to arriving. I can't stand having a dumpster in my driveway for that long especially with 4 adults using the driveway in the winter - no onstreet parking permitted due to snow removal. The contractor agreed. See ya in March. Ugh. Just disappointed but then, I do want to finish these contract reports before starting to paint the bathroom vanity. Now I have time.
Okay, time to get moving - will ride my stationary bike and feel productive.

Morning all...I know, just barely morning but it still is for a bit! Was up shortly after 7:30...puttered for a while, paid a few bills, organized the tax stuff to start hopefully tomorrow. Will be leaving in a couple hours for Kellen's basketball game. It was supposed to be Colton's last game but he is with his mother and they have other plans so we won't get to see Colton this year! I'm bummed...just when we could finally go, she decides he doesn't need to fulfill his commitment to his team. She does this often, even when it's a sport SHE wants him to play like basketball...she just doesn't care if he lets his team down time and time again! Annoying but it is what it is and will never change! Had to laugh when the 1st memory that popped up on FB today was last year's "couples paint" that happened on 2/13/20!!
Heading back to yesterday to catch up....never got back last night! By the time I came home, got Jason, back to town to get the van, then off to the store, home, put away groceries and made Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup for supper it was almost 7:00pm and I was done! Slept pretty well....fell asleep in the recliner about 10:00, wandered to bed at 1:30am and slept right through until 7:30!! And it was pretty sound sleep! Want to make sure I'm rested....OT on Monday morning so don't want to start the week sleepy!!
Gabrielle...we all know your "planned" day often gets a monkey wrench thrown in and makes for a longer day for you!! Hopefully you were able to keep the work work to a minimum on your day off....you NEED and DESERVE a day off or two with NO WORK AT ALL!! Lots of rain is a good thing....isn't it??? I know you need it! Hope the trails are not too sloppy today...don't want to slip and slide! So glad Ed got his first shot!! Still hard to get any available here...keep checking for Jason but nothing available yet! Pharmacies are starting to have them available here too but number of vaccines is still not enough at this point!
That is great news Gabrielle that WW is realizing the impact of closed meeting on those like you who have lifetime status....glad they are waiving the "in person" requirement for a while! Not sure if Lebanon Bologna is a local thing here in PA?? I only knew Oscar Mayer when I was a kid...the jingle just popped in my head "My bologna has a 1st name it's O-S-C-A-R, my bologna has a 2nd name it's M-A-Y-E-R....oh I love to eat it every day and if you ask me why I say...OSCAR MAYER has a way with B-O-L-O-G-N-A"....WOW, that took me back about 50 years! LOL!
I'm excited for tonight's painting...I think if I measured right I can put it on the brick work in the kitchen ore, I will take down a few old things from the wall in the dining room and put it there so it can hang on the time....yes, we are doing it for Valentine's day but it's not really Valentine theme....just love and home!
Hi Jenny....sorry for the ugly winter weather you are having...we are getting a little light snow later today but not to amount to anything really....again, just a nuisance! Good idea to cancel the hair appointment, just in case the roads are not safe for travel...no sense putting yourself at risk for a hair cut! Again, sorry to hear about DMIL, glad you, Kerry and the rest of the family could be there for DFIL. Glad he is handling it fairly well. I'm sure knowing she is no longer struggling is a good thing and gives him peace of mind. Glad you will be able to hold a small funeral for immediate family and the video option for others that want to share the celebration of her life. Our friend Sue lost her mom during COVID and could have 25 in person...with 11 kids, it was only the siblings/spouses and all others could watch the live feed as well. Glad you will all have closure.
LOL Gabrielle...my DM was due July 4th with me and I was born on July 2nd!!
Jo...isn't it funny the dogs hate to be groomed.....Kita always LOVED his "spa day"....Otis never goes, with really short fur they just give him a bath and trim his nails themselves. How sweet of Emilie to bring you home roses! So thoughtful.....
Carole...thanks for starting us off today and HAPPY BIRTHDAY EDEN!!! My day will be as sensible as it can be...I'm good while at home but with only 2 choices at the food court, I'm thinking it will NOT be super OP! But, it's "date night" so it is what it is!! I'm excited!! Sounds like you have a day planned to get everything done today so you can just enjoy your celebration of Eden tomorrow! YAY to get the hair appointment moved up a bit, then Tracy can get to bed earlier...I'm assuming she works tonight too??

Gabrielle...I am amazed that even on a Saturday you are up before the sun and out to run so early....heck I didn't roll out of bed until 7:30 and if I didn't have to pee, I may have slept longer! Sorry your run is in the rain but I know you will enjoy that nice hot shower! So glad you got to spend "safe, socially distanced" time with Max yesterday....sounds like he's doing well and it was the perfect start to your day! Lobster tails tomorrow...I'm on my way!! LOL! I'm making stromboli...Jason's been asking so that's the least I can do for my "sweetheart"! Honestly, all you have to do is feed that man his favorite and he's a "happy camper"!
Carole...appointments here are the same way unless it is an emergency.....I know many places are spacing appointments further apart so therefore there aren't as many slots available...I know my PCP used to have appointments every 15 minutes, now she is only on the hour and half hour so that cuts here appointments in half. Dentist is the same way here! Glad you will still be having some sort of pie sale for Easter...I know the Thanksgiving one got moved to your house and you were able to pull off that "modified version"...I know you will make due for Easter as well!
Well Carole...unfortunately being "remote" from the main plant adds another wrinkle to the slow MS365....AND, we always get the leftover of everything...who knows how old my PC is...we are the "hand me down" department! LOL! We will just make due! Oh, I'm sure the "fresh" bologna is MUCH better than Oscar Mayer. Glad the bologna is gone and no longer tempting you! Sorry Steph pestered you a bit on Friday morning but think of it this way...you do have a "jump start" on catching up so Tuesday shouldn't be too overwhelming for you!
Apparently PA is working toward a centralized vaccine registration site/number so that all areas of the state are distributing the same fair manner. Carole, have to admit the fact the "driver" of the elderly gets a vaccine "just because" is a bit annoying when others in positions much more exposed are still not vaccinated is annoying. I too would drive someone just to get it if that's the game I would have to play....but it still seems unfair to those that SHOULD be vaccinated 1st!
Carole...where is FL are the lots?? I agree, I would NOT want to live FT in Florida but having to a place to "get away" from winter for a while and just go for Spring Training for Jason would be fun!! Hey....I'm in for a free FL road trip if that SOMEDAY would come!
Christine...glad you got a few minutes to pop in and spend some time with us this morning! No worries about asking a repeat question...we all have times we get behind and miss something!
Yes...I had OT W/Th/F and will have it Monday and maybe more next week....aside from the jackets we are waiting on things, billing is finished so that is one big job off our plate but we have 2 MEAPS dropping this week. The first dropped on Friday...I was able to get everything leftover finished, got a couple "hold" orders done because the issues had finally been printed and entered in the system so I am ready to start my day Monday, bright and early with the MEAP...will likely take me most of the day but it should be finished by the end of the day. Despite the weather, the road crews did a great job this week and most of the commutes were not too bad actually! I will say, I prefer to drive in when it is light too.... We are in a stretch of about 4 days of yucky weather and cold temps...then after tomorrow we are in a long stretch of upper 30's and 40's.....I'll take it! Amazing how warm 45° feels in February! LOL!
Hey...enjoy those roses from Ben...Jason brought me alstroemeria...I love them and they last FOREVER....I mean they last WEEKS!! They are a pretty pink color...I have them in the living room by my recliner but I can see them from the computer too...perfect spot to enjoy them from multiple rooms! Hopefully you and Gary can plan an "at home date" tonight since the girls are both working. Not sure if our dinner with be sandwiches or ribs...will see what each place offers and decide from there. Good thing is with a food court he can choose one and I can choose the other if we want! How romantic is that!
LOL Christine...you need to take the internet away from DM...in all reality she likely had NONE of the symptoms but after reading them she had every one!! Yes, I'm sure her BP was just fine but as we all know the mind is a powerful thing and if she read it, she has to be experiencing it! Glad she kept the appointment...that is most important at this point! Of course she was "cured" when she got home...question, was the Celexa helping?? Will the doctor put her on something else?? I know she has been very difficult lately! Glad Carly is eligible and will get hers soon...between her day job and PT job at the brewery, she is in vulnerable places. If you hear any vaccine news I miss, please pass it along...sure hoping PA gets their act together soon!
Queen B will never change....glad you didn't let her ruffle you! She truly is a piece of work! YAY for being down to only one contract report...as I said before, you are on a good roll! I'm with you, today is my day to watch Kellen play basketball, veg, have a date night and do as I please....tomorrow I plan to put together my storage rack and get prepped for the week with cooking, laundry, cleaning etc.
OMG Christine....March 8th!! UGH!! Well, at least the contractor is agreeable to no demolition until closer to time...especially good with no street parking and 4 adults' cars to deal with in the driveway! Maybe it's a small consolation that you have time to finish the contract reports and get the vanity done before the remodel begins! Gotta look for the "silver lining" right???
OK...need a bit of lunch before heading out to Kellen's game in a bit....will likely not be back until tomorrow...
Waves to all I missed....

I too would drive someone just to get it if that's the game I would have to play....but it still seems unfair to those that SHOULD be vaccinated 1st!Â
Carole...where is FL are the lots?? I agree, I would NOT want to live FT in Florida but having to a place to "get away" from winter for a while and just go for Spring Training for Jason would be fun!! Hey....I'm in for a free FL road trip if that SOMEDAY would come!Â
Christine...glad you got a few minutes to pop in and spend some time with us this morning! No worries about asking a repeat question...we all have times we get behind and miss something! Â
LOL!Â
