Susi so happy that your roads are clear. Our 'weather' hasn't started and I hope they were right that it may pass us by. Enjoy your meal. LaDonna time will tell with the outdoor walking. I did open the door and it was still too cold. I'm not in the mood for all the layers, so may just sit this one out. Enjoy your pork chop casserole. Just having a wonderful day....it was extremely wonderful getting a call from 'more than a friend'

jamescat1 I can always post a message to post on the other one. Don't worry. Double threads happen time to time and it's no big deal. We appreciate you starting threads.

It's easy to miss a post for me especially when I'm on my phone.
Double posts = double love.
I decided to forego the outdoor walking today. Carl willingly stepped up to the plate.
I got a wonderful card with my next hair cut and color paid for including the tip lol and a small box of Russell Stover chocolates. Yes, I've already sampled them. I'm sharing them with Carl so as not to go overboard.

Susi Enjoy your day. Beef stew sounds absolutely perfect for a winter's day. Glad that you could take care of the wild ones. The warm food was a very thoughtful touch.
LaDonna Hope that you had an uplifting service. Our day looks clear. There is a storm coming sometime tomorrow. It's bright outside. So that's a win inmy book although I usually do not mind an overcast day. LOL. . . ya kinda hafta to be okay with overcast skies in NE OH. During WW II our area was chosen fas a site for an arsenal because of the natural aerial coverage. I wish I could magically sample whatever is cooking today.
Becky What are you & Kenneth doing today? Were you able to get stocked up?

Okey dokey Having a very nice day. Enjoyed a good phone visit with a friend. Laughed so much. What a nice treat. Me, lemon Pinesol, and and a mop have been busy. Bebopped to to Oldies as I vacuumed, moped, and dusted.
Ann Sweets for Carl's sweetie! Enjoy your walk. A double dose of love is a good thing.
Bee That 41 would be darn near a heat wave here. But that's too cold forGulf coast folks. We must have lucked out with a sunny winter day.

Once again spending a day in slo mo just listening to oldies. Showered and back in jammies with hearts on them. It's as festive as I'll get lol.
Bee stay warm.
June love the scent of lemon. Nothing better than connecting with a friend via the phone.

Susi, warming the ferals’ food is above and beyond kindness.
I have difficulty keeping up with the number of posts being on West Coast time. Because of Covid, we are chattier, which is definitely not a bad thing but I don’t want to respond to a post at 10 pm or be overwhelmed with responses at 9 a.m. When some of you are going to bed I haven’t had dinner and it is 6 p.m. my time. I should probably be like Cathy and only post once a day.

I'm having a very non op day so Monday will be resetting once again. Stuck inside today but enjoying a Hart to Hart marathon. Several I had not seen. Every once in a while I come up for air from the reclining sofa and do a chore or two. I did make a cake from a mix. Not that good. What's left at the end of today will be tossed. Susi, how nice to take such great care of the ferals. Enjoy the beefstew sounds great for a cold day. Bee, about the same here except no sun. All rain. June, I' m going to try some lemon pine sol next time I buy. I like the lemon lysol spray cleaner and I've always loved lemon pledge. I don't mind gloomy days most of the time but seems like there have been SO many here lately. Just feeling the need for some sunshine. Audrey, post when you can we'll be here. I try to go back and look at the last few from the day before If I don't make it back by and respond the next day. Due to my work schedule, I don't really have a set schedule for posting. I just hop on when I can and try to catch up if I've had a few busy days and feel behind on the latest.

Thanks for the start Audrey. Your Valentines Day sounds wonderful. Enjoy all your flowers.
Ann Enjoy your wonderful Valentines meal. We aren't having anything special. I told Kenneth after these winter storms clear out we will eat out somewhere.
Cathy I have heard it is really cold in Missouri. I hope you can talk to your son and granddaughters tonight. We aren't all electric by any means and this is just until it warms up enough to get the propane from the tank to the cooking stove. It has a longer distance to travel to get there than our heater does. The electric skillet is great to cook on and we are praying our power does not going out since they are predicting a low of 10 or 11 in the morning with the coldest wind chill in history in our part of Texas. The northern area of Texas will be worse than us I'm sure.
MJ Two starts are better than none and yes I think it means double love in our day. Enjoy your day at home. Continued prayers for Jeanne and Neal.
Bee Is your area included in the winter storm? I heard Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas was included in it. How fun to have the great grands over.
Ann I could never stay awake until midnight any more. I hope the storm passes you buy. West Texas has been hit hard with snow. We have gotten a little ice so far. Kenneth said our property is so slippery he has has to use 4 wheel drive on his pickup.
June Yes we bought a good electric skillet. We made dinner in it last night and eggs were also wonderful in it this morning.

Back in before I shut the desktop down for the night. My desktop goes to sleep long before I do LOL..... Audrey no worries. At times I find it hard to 'keep up' I do what I can and forget the rest and pray that all understand! Enjoy those beautiful flowers LaDonna I shall be hitting that reset button right along with you. I have to say I enjoyed each and every bite lick and taste and what happens on the scale tomorrow happens..... Susi you'll go down in feral history Becky now it's back to ice snow sleet and wind. That's the last time I will check it. My guess is that nobody really knows and I'm good with that. Have no appointments and have enough food and such to last so it's all good. I guess I'm the official night owl of the clan. Hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful day!

LaDonna A pork chop casserole sounds wonderful. Yes the event was postponed to next Sunday. The pastor had already cancelled service yesterday. He and the song leader were there last night to record the service. They didn't even ask the pianist to come because she lives in Austin. We had ice overnight and it just started up again. It is 21 and feels like 8 degrees. I'm not going anywhere. There is a road we drive to Elgin and a friend said it is slick as glass.
Susi I am glad your ice is melting.
Ann How nice of your hair stylist.
Bee I would love your temp right now. With the wind chill tomorrow real feel temps could be anywhere between -10 and -20 which would be a first for our area.
June We got stocked up through tomorrow but if this continues on Tuesday we don't know what we will do yet. We do have a neighbor who messaged me on our Next Door App and said if we needed anything not to hesitate to call. That was so nice of him. We also have a neighbor who is a truck driver whom we may be able to call to help. Kenneth has only been outside to do what he needs to for the cattle. I have stayed in all day with Scooter and the cats. I have done 2 walking workouts today. I don't know the last day we had sun so enjoy yours.
Ann I have been in sweats all day.
Audrey I agree. By time I get online in the afternoons there are so many posts to do personals for.
We have power but no water. Kenneth had already dripped faucets in the master bath but he is thinking we may have a broken line or something. He just went back outside to check. I don't know if it's sleeting or snowing right now but I hear it in the house.

Audrey No worries. The double post thing can happen easily when an iPad or mobile phone are involved. The interface isn't as good. Chatting is good for the soul especially in this crazy time. We can figure out a flexible system for hosting. It will be all good!
Becky Oh. My. Goodness. That is wicked cold temperature for TX. Stay warm & safe. R & I are pretty well set except for bottled water. I could run down to the Dollar Store & pick up a case. You make me want to replace my electric skillet. R makes the best omelettes and cheesy eggs. LaDonna I read an article that reruns are a great comfort especially intimes like this. But it is nice to be surprised with a"new-to-you" episode or two. LOL. I heard rumors that it was possible to toss a leftover cake, but I have never done that myself.
That reset button ismighty handy.
Lemon scented Mr. Clean is also a good choice. But I read that Pinesol is effective against coronavirus. Not sue about Mr. Clean.
Ann Bad pun coming..... woo? Woo? You? A night owl?

Yikes to no water Becky. Hopefully it won't last long and you'll keep your power.
Lol June hooo hoooot lol. I've always loved owls. I can hear them some nights and yes I hoot right back at them. Never saw one....

Ann, I go to bed at midnight. I get up at 6:30 weekdays and 7 a.m. midnight.
Becky, I hope Kenneth finds the cause of your lack of water. I have 2 cases of bottled water in the garage for emergencies.
