Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Nice sunny morning. Enjoying my 2nd cup of coffee.
Seeing neurologist later this afternoon. Prayers that all is still going well.
Dottie - it gas to be hard not being able to see one if your friends, but totally understandable. Going to places where masks aren’t required is not something that makes any sense.
Just puttering around today. I need to rearrange some things in my spare room.
Later ...

Joyce, good luck at the neurologist. Sounds like you like your new haircut. Making it shorter during the summer makes sense. Hope you can get your vaccine scheduled soon. Sorry your boss is getting nasty again, hasn’t she been good for awhile now?
Martha, sorry to hear that you weren’t feeling well yesterday. Hope you do okay today at work, sleep is always good when you aren’t feeling well.
Ruth, that is great that DS just needed a new battery, I’m sure all that cold weather is hard on the batteries. Great that DIL can pick up some OT, I’m sure that will help financially, hard on her but needed at this time. Let me know how Stan does with his second vaccine. Bill and I get ours tomorrow, him at 10 o’clock and me at 1 o’clock. We had planned to go together but since there will be workers here one of us needs to be here.
Another change in the flooring installation. The leveler wasn’t dry this morning when the crew showed up at 6:50. They brought all the flooring in and will be back tomorrow at 7:00 to start again. The leveler should be dry by tomorrow morning. Prayers continue for the people in Texas and other areas of the south that are without electricity and dealing with ice/snow that they have no snow removal equipment to work with. I hope for an early spring for everyone.

Good late late afternoon everyone. Dottie, Stan said if he moves his arm around a lot, he can feel it. Otherwise he’s had no reaction at all to his 2nd shot! If this continues he’ll be a happy camper!!!
Joy, prayers for good news from the neurologist!!! Please let us know what they have to say! I’m sorry to hear your boss is doing her bi-polar thing again!! Hopefully she will get help!!! Sorry you have to deal with her!
Martha, prayers that you continue to feel better. A 24hr bug of some kind? Has DH or anyone at your work been ill recently? Hope you are better soon!
Dottie, hope they can get going on your flooring tomorrow! We want to put that vinyl tile that looks like wood down in our lower level family room. So that when the dog comes in and out we don’t have a mess on the carpet. Current carpet is all stretched and needs to be gone!!! Would love to see pictures when it’s finished!
We were happy DS’s car just needed a battery. We don’t have a clue how old the one in the car was. It wasn’t mentioned in writing when we bought the car, and if they told us, we don’t remember. The car is a 2009, but in great shape and had newer tires and all. He did have brakes done on it last spring. If they had replaced the battery after 5-6 years it was time for a new one again. When they sit outdoors up here and have to start in the really bad windchills and all, they wear out so much faster. If they’d keep it in the garage, it would last longer. One step at a time!
We went out and filled up both our cars with gas today. Gas prices are rising. We found Sam’s Club was $2.18; Costco was $2.22; and everywhere else varied between $2.39 and $2.69!!! So we told our kids too in case they needed gas! All the TX shutdowns aren’t helping! People are blaming Biden, but I don’t think he has anything to do with it!
Did a couple curbside pick ups while we were out. Got most of what we needed. Making cod for dinner. And oven roasted potatoes. Stan is doing the cod in the AirFryer. Hope it’s good.
Not much else going on here. Stay safe and warm all.
