Sitting down relaxing a bit. I'm worn out from cleaning, walking, and cooking and cleaning the kitchen but I have gotten most all of my chores done except for a few little odds and ends. I still want to take an outdoor stroll in just a little. Caught up on the latest episode of Big Sky and oh boy what a show. Ann, the mac and cheese ham sounds perfect Becky, I know u enjoyed getting to grocery shop and be able to pick out things you wanted..enjoy your salad

June - Ann - Happy continued celebrations for Carl's birthday. He deserves it! Audrey - What a pain. Enjoy your dinner tonight. Becky - I'm so happy that your church family came through for you and that you could share the abundance with those that helped you. Hope you were able to get a good night of rest. I'm sure that first the stress and now the relief have taken their toll. Hope the handyman can come soon and that's the worst of it. Glad you were able to get a few more necessities at the store today. Cathy - Glad you are happy with blue That's the plan I chose as well. Depending on what I have in the fridge, I will make the gyro with 2-3 oz. beef, chicken or lamb (my first choice). Joseph's makes a flax, oat and wheat pita that is only 60 cal but substantial enough to hold up to the fillings. I use a brand called Cedar's tzatziki. I can make it easily but this brand is lower calories and better tasting than mine. Then I just add chopped tomatoes, red onion and lettuce. Ann and Bobby went to Atlantic City for the weekend so I will drop the paperwork off to her one day next week. LaDonna - Shared housework always good faster. Sounds like you have a fairly busy day ahead. How is Lucy doing now that she has been home a few weeks? The training holding up? I'm looking forward to seeing it tonight. June - Enjoy your turkey tonight. In the winter I will frequently store things like that and water on the deck. MJ - Hope YM is going well Bee - Hope you are having a great day Blondie showed up with the others this morning. I always feel better when I see that he is fine. VM, spin, shopping, tug of war with Lily and now prepping. I'm making Marlene Koch bourbon chicken and broccoli stir fry over a brown rice and quinoa mix. It's a very good recipe and my 3rd time making it. Despite it's name, there is no bourbon in the recipe. Carol will join me for dinner and we'll watch Big Sky. Mother Nature decided to puke another inch of sloppy snow last night but the sun is out and it's melting despite being quite cold.

LaDonna it's such a nice feeling to have all the 'chores' behind you. Rest up and enjoy that walk.
Susi so happy that you got to see Blondie. Nice when all the ferals are there to greet you. Your meal sounds amazing. Enjoy. Yuck to the sloppy snow. So far so good...we haven't had any and I'm grateful for the weather break.
Carl is so enjoying the cards that he got from our neighbors and a few 'over the hill' trinkets LOL.

Becky, I am glad you found enough to make do for the next few days. Do you go to the store every day or every other day? Happy birthday to Carl! I hope he is having a good day. Susi, we worry when Indiana is not on the back patio. Glad Blondie was with the others. Costco shopping was wonderful and everyone was masked and distanced. We bought enough for six months but I will return again in March for summer items that were not out. Bob found a pair of shorts but we need new pool towels and sunscreen. Rob came over at 8:30 with bakery items he bought at the farmers' market including one breakfast bun, half a seeded sourdough rope bread and two small pastry pieces. They are made by a lady who calls her busy Little Wind Bakery and Rob goes there really early to avoid the long lines for her products. We split the bun and I had one half slice of bread and they were delicious. I also had fresh fruit, poached eggs over mushrooms and tomatoes and coffee so it wasn't too much sugar. Yesterday he said he was feeling depressed so we invited him and his family for dinner tomorrow. They jumped at the chance to do something. The menu is grilled shrimp, white rice from India, broccoli, salad and then chocolate chunk cookies from Costco and mint chip ice cream. It's a menu the boys like and I will pass on dessert. They season their rice with Cavender's seasoning. I know I am skipping around but I bought them egg bites at Costco, salami and a big piece of salmon. He is going to cut and vacuum seal the ham Bob bought for his lunches. We also went to the Market and CVS. I shot no one at CVS because the young male pharmacy tech waited on me and came up with a plan. He made two photocopies of Bob's meds and said in one week before three months I should make sure the doctor or his nurse puts in the order all at once instead of one day apart. I've tried it before but I may even hand carry one copy to Bob's doctor's office before the meds are due for refill. It's almost 3:30 p.m. and a tiring day. I washed the bed sheets early in the morning and made the bed. Now I will weed for a short time and then we'll be going to dinner.

Susi, glad Blondie is ok Lucy is still a handful but she is better. We still can't let her run loose in the yard as its just too risky if she would get away from us - we are not too far from a busy highway. She has a kennel in the yard and that's where she has to go when we are not at home. It has room for her to jump about and a nice little house for her to go in out of the weather. When we are home she is usually in with us and she sleeps inside with us at night on her bed in front the fireplace. Enjoy Big Sky its a good episode. Ann, glad Carl is having fun today...hope you got your walk and you both have a wonderful evening. Bee, waving...hope you are feeling more energetic..did the liver help? Audrey, I'm so glad you did not shoot anyone. Bail is so expensive these days. I hope Rob will enjoy being with family tomorrow and can shake the depression he is feeling. These are definitely trying times.

Cathy Glad you are doing well with blue. We have our power again and I turned the electric heater on 60 and it's 64 in here and the heater cut off. We had to use our propane tank normally used to cook with for our propane heater to keep warm during the power outages. Thank you. We only have so much room and other neighbors have kids so I know the food was appreciated.
Ann Happy you slept well and feel refreshed. I was so exhausted yesterday I figured I would sleep all night but not so. I'm sure our 6" of snow was nothing compared to what you normally get. Pizza sounds good. We will gladly wait for the handyman to get around to us. I would so love a hot shower though.
June Yes we are all fortunate with loving husbands. So far federal money is marked for infrastructure which is badly needed. FEMA is flying in water for people all over the state. They gave out quite a bit of water at our recreation center I heard yesterday. They had planned to do another one today but our county didn't get the shipment. Happy you finished all your grading. Enjoy your rest from the computer.
LaDonna Team work is always good with cleaning. You have been doing well in house walking. I was able to take my first shorter walk outside in a week this afternoon. Thank you for your sweet words. Yes prayers were definitely answered and filling in at HEB today really helped. Yes it was nice shopping today and the best part was we didn't have to wait even 15 minutes outside before going in. The prior 2 days they were only open 12-5 and people were waiting outside in the cold up to 2 hours.
Ann I hope Carl enjoys his ham with mac and cheese. Very special happy birthday wishes to him.

LaDonna happy Lucy is settling in. Some adapt quicker than others. LuLa is a work in progress some days.
Becky oh I bet you can't wait to take a long hot shower.
Lol to not shooting anyone at CVS. The foods you mentioned all sound delicious.
Time to read a bit. All in all we had a wonderful day.

Susi Thanks so much. Yes there was a lot of stress and now relief and more important answers to prayers. I think the stress has finally gotten to Kenneth today now that it is getting better. I think he just couldn't let himself be stressed while there was work to be done inside and outside with the cattle. Glad Blondie showed up this morning. You have a busy day planned as well. Enjoy dinner with Carol.
Thanks Bee. How was your day? I imagine it feels wonderful being down 20 lbs.
Audrey We go Monday, Wednesday and on Friday we buy enough for the weekend. Our fridge is so full right now. We need to use up some of the food and drinks in there. I was surprised HEB had as much meat as they did. Glad everyone was masked up at Costco. I'm sorry Rob was feeling depressed. He works so hard also. LOL on not shooting anyone at CVS. Enjoy your dinner.

Becky, I feel no different than I did over 20#s ago. Too many other things to focus on, I reckon.
