I was cleaning out my "favorites" list, a list of links to websites. In that list I had links to several WW Zoom meetings. I clicked on the link and it brought me to a live virtual meeting!
Bear in mind that I no longer am a member of WW in any way shape or form. Sat through the whole meeting with my camera off, got the chat messages to please turn on my video, etc. Full participation---I could comment and use all the screen buttons.
At the end I got a prompt from Zoom to update and I skipped that. Not sure how long this will last but I found it amusing!

WW continues to have a problem with not being able to turn off live transcript, in virtual meetings, with android phones and tablets, really annoying. In one class two people used the live transcript while those of us on android had to put up with this annoyance across our screen. Many coaches are turning it off, those are the classes I join for right now until it's fixed. It's a problem WW knows about, they have to iron it out with Zoom and android, who knows when that's going to happen.🤔

Okay, watching my local Zoom WW virtual workshop right now. I feel like I am sneaking into a movie theatre without paying, lol. Sad turnout, really---only ten people, plus the coach and a guide. There are only two VW's listed for my location and I wonder how long that's going to last with such dismal attendance. mac , I am doing this on my laptop, on the Windows OS. I never have even tried to attend a VW on my phone or tablet. It looks like the same format that it's always been. |

That is interesting - as my meeting yesterday had 25 people plus coach and helper - before over had only 20.
Someone mentioned they had heard that a lot of studios are closing due to high rents - and will be doing
more virtuals and have the weighins at CVS - sounds like it could be something in the future.

I think you can still get into local VWs, it's the national ones you have to have the digital + unlimited workshops to attend. If it helps the numbers of the local workshops, I will keep attending them so they don't get canned.

As I stated earlier in a post I get live transcript on virtual meetings, for one person in the group, because it has not been fixed yet. I do not stay on any meeting now that has live transcript as I'm legally blind in one eye and it really bothers me. One of the hosts told me today she also has a problem with it so turns it off. I leave any meeting now that has it and have found some really good coaches who don't turn it on. I leave a message with the host to let the coach know I'll be back when it's fixed.🤗
