MJ - My coworker just got a call that it's snowing like crazy where she live. They were only supposed to get rain. We just have cold rain here. Hope you can find what you need and can get the food delivered before the weather turns bad. Enjoy the ham. Bee - I do like the occasional fried food but my tummy usually makes me pay in some what. Enjoy being out. June - It's wonderful that R had such a good relationship with your parents and that you have such wonderful memories. Not much going on here. Somehow it looks like the payroll procedure was deleted from the computer. I'll need to retype and update it. Next month I am adding my coworker Barbara into the system and training her as my backup. I'll feel much better about taking time off or if something happens. Today I have my annual ob/gyn with my mammo in 2 weeks.

Hope you can find what you need and can get the food delivered before the weather turns bad. We made our delivery and just a few minutes later the snow began. My new avatar (if seen up-close) shows how snow-globe-y it is. At first it wasn't sticking to roads (10:30 AM) but now it is (12:30 PM).

Good luck with your appointments Susi. Nice that I can travel through you as well lol.
MJ our snow finally started. It's coming down at a good clip but not sticking.
Been puttering all day. Got rid of sone tea that smelled off. I organized what I have and boiling water to sit and enjoy a cup.

Great 15 minute appointment with free drug samples for 2 months. This evening one of the urologists is giving a virtual talk on overactive bladders. I will listen to it while I cook dinner.
Rub till the funny story last night. Remember his cat Yum Yum who went back to their old house five times and finally stayed there? It is because she was a woman scorned. Yum Yum and Oliver were partners and before she was fixed she became pregnant with four kittens including Indiana who we have. After the babies were born a stray named Callie started to hang out with all of her and they became a couple. They are still a couple at the new house and Yum Yum refused to have anything to do with Callie and left home for the old house. We were all laughing so hard.
MJ can’t other parents help with food distribution to the agencies? Why is everything your responsibility?
Susi plan Venice and Croatia in 2022 or 2023.

OP so far - venison hotdogs and chili for dinner tonight and that does not really appeal to me so I may do my own thing. Audrey, too funny about YumYum I bet you all did have a good belly laugh over that one! Good score on the samples and glad all went well. Cathy, walking does make a difference. hang in Ann, I dont blame u for staying put and resting today since you have not been feeling well. You always find the best things while freezer diving! Mj, hope the delivery will go smoothly. Ham sounds like a good choice for a cold day. June, love hearing the parent stories Susi, you will get there maybe next year. What make you decide the west Rim? When we were looking to go we were thinking the South Rim. Glad you will have some help/backup with the payroll. Bee, enjoy the sun! Becky, did you get your shower yet?

LOL Audrey...thanks for that funny story. LaDonna I know you'll find something that you want more than the venison hotdogs and chili. I've never had those hotdogs. It is still snowing here and now it's beginning to stick. Oh well....Mother Nature surely loves to 'let it snow'

Ann. At least you don’t worry about droughts.
I am finally getting the car smogged and went to the place my daughter recommended. Single owner shop in a hole in the wall place. No waiting and $25 cheaper than where I used to take the car

LaDonna It was very nice of them to offer the TT but we decided not to take them up on it. We didn't want to put them out and if we made a mess in the TT well Kenneth didn't think it was a good idea and I agreed with him. I am going to the hair salon tomorrow for a shampoo and blow dry and I may let them even up my hair on the bottom. My hair is longer than it's been since the Pandemic. Kenneth said he doesn't think he has seen it this long but it was when we got married. Come hot weather I'm sure I will have it cut short again. I hope you had a good day.
Audrey Glad the dinner went well and Rob and his family had a good time. I hope he gets the vaccine. I have figured out part of her problem is she seems to be starved for affection. When she is on my lap she is happy and falls asleep. She still hasn't eaten her food. She will when she gets hungry enough. I agree on the local businesses. HEB is a chain store but only in Texas and Mexico. All the money spent there stays in TX where money at Walmart goes to Arkansas. Hope your appointment went well.
Cathy Stick with the program and the weight will come off. Sometimes the scale seems stubborn.
Ann I hope you are feeling better today. Scooter has never acted like this before. Evidently the snow was all my fault in her mind. I'm sorry it's so bitter cold there.
June The shower will feel heavenly when we can use our own shower. It was beautiful and 74 today. We didn't have to go to the grocery today so we loaded up can goods and staples and took it to the local food pantry. Our county delivered 2 cases of bottled water today. Kenneth was great with my parents also.
MJ I hope everything got done before the weather hit.

Bee Will do! Hope that you have a good ad"venture" outdoors.
Ann Cute story about the "poppa."
Susi We stayed at a great place resort outside of Venice & boated there. Our bargain accommodations were a few streets back from the beach. The pricey beachfront places hired people to more or less vacuum the beach. So strange to see a man operating a machine that dug in, turned over the sand, removedtrash, and left behind "cleaned" sand. What appealed to me most about Venice were the signs of its seafaring contacts. Was inrpteresting to wade in the sea & image awaiting a ship with luxury spiced, silks, and perfumes.
The area of rotisserie has an unexpected tie to Venice. Areas of forest were stripped for the lumber to underpin Venice.
Have been to GrandCsnyon twice- summer & winter. Each time the canyon was beautiful

Bee I hope you were able to venture out today. The weather has been beautiful lately. It's kind of hard to charge more for electricity when you are without power. I look for it to be higher but we are in a Co-op that is run by the members.
Susi That is Texas weather for you. Scooter has never been this picky before. Who knows what is going through her head. She has been outside a lot today and enjoying the good weather. I hope the payroll situation was figured out quickly. You definitely need a backup person so you can take time off.
Ann I did a lot of organizing today. It just seems like there is so much work now and so little time.
Audrey Glad your appointment went well. Cute story.
LaDonna We decided against using their shower. We will wait until we can use our own or improvise.

MJ can’t other parents help with food distribution to the agencies? Why is everything your responsibility? I ran point on this project. Our first year for it was last year, right before pandemic shutdown. We wanted to do it again. There's only ONE drop-off site, less than a mile from my house. And the Director of We Feed Woodbridge worked just as hard as we did, to move the food indoors . Since we tend to be hyper-organized, it's a quick do-and-go.
