Thursday...busy day! Practiced cello, had my lesson, did a zoom FitSteps class, laundry and did a quick shopping trip. It’s the 25th anniversary of our first date. Hard to believe it’s been that long! I made a special dinner: shrimp cocktail, broiled lamb chops, sugar snap peas, air fried steak fries, and we split a piece of chocolate cake.
Friday possibilities: —abs & knees ✅ —Tap class ✅ —museum visit to see display of spring flowers ✅ --*pick up a few groceries I forgot yesterday -- ✅ —decluttering x 15’ —fold laundry —evening routine ✅ —meditation ✅

Carol, so sorry I have been MIA. I had something happen at work that was very upsetting regarding a patient. I have to say that I have a wonderful supervisor, director, and peers who all supported me and kept calling me to see if I was ok. Just so I make one thing clear, the pt. is fine and well. It was just a discharge that fell apart while he was in transit to the group home. I can't believe at the last minute they changed their minds after all the hard work everyone put into it and we were finally getting a pt. out who had been there for several years. It truly was heartbreaking to me. I barely slept for days and I am having bad stomach problems which I can only guess is stress. I'll be off Monday just to regroup.
With that said, the one thing I am doing is prepping dough and frying apples to make an apple pie tomorrow. I am taking a pie class (not something a person trying to lose weight should do). I will also be making a caramelized onion, cheese, and tomato tart this weekend.
