borntexan , I am glad your HEB got stocked so quickly. That's not happening in my part of Houston although each day has gotten better. My DD went 72+ hours w/o electricity. I tried to get them to bring their food to our house but they kept thinking it would come back on. I'm sorry your DD had to go without power for so long. Our HEB isn't totally stocked but they are doing much better than our Walmart is. They just interviewed a woman in Austin who went without power for 4 days and she didn't know if they would make it or not. We were several hours without power but I can't imagine days unless you have some kind of gas or propane heater. I lived in sweats under 2 blankets for several days but at least we had help with the propane heater. Maybe since we are closer to San Antonio our store is getting stocked better but we don't have a HEB Plus so it's easier to get stocked at least part of the way. Today was the first day I was in there where they had a few loaves of bread but it looked like they were going fast. Even the managers are stocking shelves. Walmart had to throw out all of their perishable foods because their portable generator failed which I'm sure is why they are slower to get restocked.
