Blustery and gray today - not a good day to be outside. The cat is on my lap. Hubby is waiting to hear from his brother - my guess is the brother slept in instead of waking early to walk and have breakfast with hubby. They did spend time together yesterday afternoon and no doubt will spend more time together over the week ahead. The cat is on my lap. I have a book review to write and a book to finish. I will get the books read before the 11th that need to be reviewed...one way or another. Do want to cut back on the reviewing as the weather begins to get nicer - want to be outside more Cherry: I wonder if they put the weather monitoring device in hidden places with sunshine instead of out in the elements. I know that it can make a huge difference if in the sun or shade...etc. Sorry it was not as warm as you had hoped it would be. Beverly: I don't know about growing squash here. Hubby has had mixed results due to turtles, birds, fungus and other things that attack his produce. Might get seeds for him next time I am in the States. Pasta sounds good to me. Might make some for lunch today even though we have leftovers. I suppose I could make the pasta with a green salad and have the leftovers for dinner, though. Pam: I think of you and think of those blue dots you talk about...might have to google "ww blue dots" to see what they look like Lynn: Hope you are enjoying the weekend!

I don't know just how the temperature monitor works. The whole gadget is out in the open with no shade and it measures rain, wind, temperature, humidity, and the ground temperature at a depth of 4 inches. However the temp. monitor works, it is hardly ever more than 2 degrees different in either direction than my thermometer which sits in the shade on the north side of the house. Those warm days will come sooner or later.
I was up early again this morning. Woke up to go to the bathroom and couldn't get back to sleep. It looks like a nap will be in my future. But now it is coffee time.
Have a good day, beaches.

Morning!! A gloriously beautiful Palm Sunday here!! I will have to get outside & do some work today!! It is just too nice to stay inside. My little dog is already out on the porch & refuses to come in. He has the right idea!!! I think I will fill my flower pots with fresh soil & be ready to put the plants in them in a few days. I have ordered impatiens, and a couple of grafted tomato plants that I had good luck with last year. I also will plant some special tomato seeds that I buy every year for my DD. She loves tomatoes & she is not allowed to have the seeds, due to her stomach trouble, she has many digestive issues. I order the special seeds for her & try to grow her some tomatoes from them. They are almost seedless. They are temperamental, & usually don't produce much. Only a mother would fool with such things. DH will plant many other veggies in his garden. Sounds like a lot of work to me, LOL. Who needs a gym membership with all this yard work to do? Great day all.

Home from church, shopping, and a walk. The sun is out and although it's a bit wind, a beautiful day. Hope everyone is enjoying your day and smiling. I definitely am.
