Spicer asks that the country forgive him for the terrible remarks he made yesterday. I think he is genuinely sorry that he said those things. I'm quite sure if he could take that moment back, he would do it much differently. But, that's not the point. He is in a job where he is way over his head. He may be a very nice man as I've heard countless people try to say since the remarks. I don't doubt that he is, but he is out of his league here. Aside from the president he is the most visible face of our country. People all around the globe daily listen and read what he has to say, and they form their opinions of this country based on them. So we need someone in that position who can handle the relentless pressure with grace under fire, and at the very least is savvy enough not to make such a gigantic, insensitive, and historically incorrect remark as he made. And as if it weren't bad enough that he made the blunder in the first place, when he is immediately called on it instead of saying, "Oops! That didn't come out right, and I stand corrected." He instead doubles and triples down on it just digging his hole deeper and deeper even though the press corps who he blasts every single day was clearly, from the video, trying to help him get himself out of the situation. Yet he continued throwing himself off into the abyss. So for the question of whether or not Spicer should lose his job, I say yes. Not because I have animosity towards him, but because he is not the right person for that important job. That job daily affects lives around the world. If he can make this huge of a mistake so easily, we can't afford to risk keeping him there. Tweety better realize this in a hurry, or Jared and Ivanka better tell him. Words do matter.

I don't think Spicer will be around much longer. Tweety has no loyalty to anyone & if "anyone" makes him look worse than he actually is, they will get thrown to the curb. I see Tweety is now saying, he didn't really know Steve Bannon before & that Bannon came on late to help the campaign, etc. Oh, sure, Bannon basically help assure Tweety a win, but out to the curb he will land too. Depending on how afraid Tweety is of Bannon. Bannon could be dangerous on the outside if Tweety turns against him.
Tillerson says that American taxpayer isn't concerned about Ukraine...HELLO, I'm am Americam taxpayer ( unlike Fake Prez) & I'm concerned about Ukraine & other countries under Russian oppression. Just WOW the statements that come out of Tweety's cabinet members & spokepeople.

All those voters who thought it would be a good idea to put people with business savvy in the positions running the government, are now seeing that there is a huge difference in running a business and running the country. With a business it all comes down to the bottom profit line, but with a country diplomacy is critical. Well, not being Spicer I will admit that I just misspoke. They SHOULD be seeing that, and some are but there are still diehards out there who just won't admit the truth even when it is slapping them in the face.

"Tweety has no loyalty to anyone" -- Linda
Agreed that he will kick anyone to the curb who angers or in anyway threatens him. The only possible loyalty he has is to family, but I don't think he would hesitate to throw them under the bus either if it ever came down to a case of family vs himself. Right now, Jared is pretty safe. Bannon surprises me that he seems to want to take Jared on, because that alone is enough to make his days left at the WH keep getting fewer and fewer. Bannon is a smart guy, so he must feel the skeletons he can expose are dangerous enough to Tweety that he can afford to go after Jared. It's going to be very interesting to see what plays out there. Bannon could prove to be a very formidable enemy for Tweety. The third rail for Bannon to touch would be to go after Ivanka. If that ever happens, I hope he's already got his bag packed. Tweety's not going to let anyone go after his golden girl, unless it's to save his own skin that is.
Right now Bannon seems to be willing to bet the farm that Tweety is too scared of what he can reveal to let him go, but he better be careful as Tweety is already publicly trying to distance himself. A few weeks ago he said he had known and admired Bannon for a very long time. Yesterday he said until Bannon came on the campaign he didn't know him at all, and still didn't know him all that well.
