Happy Saturday Afternoon.
Just finished my scratch angel food cake and it smells amazing. I really think there is so much difference between scratch, boxed or grocery store bakery cakes. Not an easy cake to bake, but my friend's Birthday is worth it. Not much going on today. I try to stay out of the very busy village on weekends, so any errands will wait till Monday.
Janet: The good news about the rec. center pool is that you will not be swimming in black mold. Glad they found it! Yes, buy some play clothes. Do you shop online like so many of my friends for clothing? I just like to try stuff on or at least eyeball it for fit and color. Sizes are all over the place.
Hope you all are having a great weekend so far and if I miss tomorrow it's because I am at the Fully Vaccinated 4 person b-day party. I wish it was going to be warm because my friend's sister has a beautiful pool and spa. However I think our heat-wave is over.
Be well All. Sweet Dreams and a Good night's sleep to all.

Good Morning!! Love, light, blessings, and good health!!
Jan that cake sounds difficult and fabulous. I looked up the recipe for angel food and it was too challenging for me. I will stick to cheating with my bread machine. Party sounds nice, hope you (and the birthday celebrant) had a lovely time. I look forward to hearing more about it.
Yes I did: home abs, legs/rowing machine at gym, sneak in two ultrashort walks before it started pouring, law. A lovely Mass and a movie with gal pal that I hadn't seen in forever. We are both two weeks past Vaccine 2 and no one sat too close to us. Not many people in the theater. I felt safe. I wore my mask during the whole movie, but in the dark I am pretty sure everyone else took theirs off. I am glad I waited until I was fully vaccinated.
I have already forgotten the name of the movie, but I enjoyed it, some sort of ghost story. She might have fallen asleep but it was never about the movie it was about getting out.
Well, it poured, poured, poured yesterday. I know we needed the rain but I still really hate rainy days. First sunny day since early last week.
Yard, damp and tall. Clothesline still damp after one quick go over with towel. As soon as the world is less soggy -- hang out wash and mow. I will also hit the gym for chest, back. Home ab circuit. My favorite trails will all be underwater so no point even trying them. Might finish memo today.
I continue to be OP and am implementing the tiny tweaks my former trainer (trainer until she fell in love and left the state) suggested with my diet. Not too much room there to cut much else out.
Okay, I already have my "big girl pants" on so get started by dealing with the mail.
Love, light, blessings, and good health, janet

Good Sunday Evening, positive peeps 🐥🐥!
Jan - Hooray for celebrating friend’s birthday with a special cake....agree that homemade food has that extra ingredient ❤️.
Janet - Yay for getting to see a movie, with a pal, on the big screen! It may be awhile before I do that, ‘though some theaters here are opening to limited seating. I look forward to it! Sorry to hear about the pool but hope you’ll find a good alternative.
Hello to Nat & Sally!
Yes I did: —livestream Mass, long walk before breakfast (and before mist & drizzle). Had a good visit to Old House, where lawn guy has at least started working on the lawn (half done) and did remember to put recycling out without my asking😁 Invading squirrel has (fingers crossed) so far not returned there. Meanwhile, I still feed the critters at Current House...ironic.
Yes I CAN: —try not to be cranky when Sweetie tries my patience...just breathe
Be well! Carol
