I've pretty much stopped cooking so I don't use spices much anymore. If my husband is involved with the cooking he'll sometimes use spices. At times I use to smell some of the spices, almost made me believe in aroma therapy. I found that if I take a whiff of chili powder my nose will run.

Remember this is for the rest of your life. There is no "over," "done," or "finished." Be wary if you start to think you "deserve" to eat something. Before going away for a weekend or vacation plan your eating for the week you return. Have as much in the house (you can freeze entrees) as you can, and get to the store right away to get fresh stuff. That way you can be back on program right away. Also make up a fall back food plan for three days for when you just fall off the wagon and need to get back on. That way you don't have to think, just do..
