Good morning lovely Angels! β₯ And happy Thursday, I hope yours is wonderful and you have nice weather. We are celebrating beautiful temps here. Carol, hugs. We all go through those phases in our weight loss and health journies - old habits just want to come back! Be kind and love yourself - all of your goals sound like good ones. I wasn't happy with the scale last weekend either, and I'm also in a slump as far as my weight loss goals. My wellness check-up at work is coming up soon, and I'm hoping that having that event in my near future will springboard me into the reality of what my snacking and sluggishness are leading up to. Good morning to Suzanne, Lisa and any one who visits us. Daily Affirmation - Triumph puts the oomph in try! (from my new journal) Fitness Report - A half hour Margaret Richard for pecs, triceps, abs and quads/glutes; an old Winsor Pilates video with flexband. Health Goal - see above! Gratitude - having such a fantastic workout l library.

Good Morning, Angels: Spring is really springing here: crocus and daffodils in bloom. Trees and shrubs budding out. I love it. π· And the sun is shining today. What a pick-me-up! Even a dandelion has bloomed!
Lisa: I have to laugh at your tech-issues. I, too, was having issues. And I don't like it went 'tech' tries to defeat me. It must have been something going on in the cyber-stars. First, I had my new iPhone which, as it turns out, was just a matter of changing some settings to the way I want them. (I had thought Verizon took care of that when they made the switchover.) Second, I was trying to reach my client's data on the cloud with my home computer rather than their laptop, to no avail. Finally, yesterday morning, all aligned and I am up and running. Same goes for the iPhone. Phew! When I finally got that client's data, I was so elated, I was shaking!
Pat: Isn't Reiki something someone does TO you? Or can you practice on your own? Tell us more. Or I could look it up, I guess. I went to someone once and I think it was Reiki he used for about ten minutes as part of the therapy. You are so good about getting your fitness in. Would you pass some of that spirit on to me?
Carol: Maybe we can get each other back on track. Ever since my IBS misdiagnosis, I've been off track and I can't seem to get back on like I was. I haven't even weighed myself for weeks and that's not good. I think I'm going to rejoin WW online to give myself the boost I need. As much as I hate paying them $20 per month...it worked for me last year in terms of good weight loss and I can't put a price on that. I expect these last 10-20 pounds are going to be buggers either way. In the last 6 weeks or so, my fitness has been almost nonexistent. I kept getting one cold after another. Just bad enough that I didn't want to go to the gym with my drippy nose or cough. (I could've done something at home tho.) Here's to fresh starts! π·

Good Afternoon, Dear Ones!
Daily Affirmation - I treat my body and mind with love and respect (repeat from yesterday)
Fitness & health report - Fitness circuit at the Y & a good chiro adjustment and some deep tissue work on my L knee (ow, ow!) which now feels so much better! My chiropractor thinks much of my knee pain is due to muscle imbalance/weakness so I am working on alignment and strength exercises.
Health Goal - choose healthy, βworthyβ foods in moderate portions
Gratitude - the greening and the blooming!
Thanks for your encouragement, dear ones, it colors my world! Yes, letβs recommit to fresh starts together. Weβll renew ourselves just as mother earth does!
