hpeterson1951, Start slowly and don't look back on any should haves/could haves.
It took me about 40 years of weight loss and weight gain and of getting to goal weight 4 times before finally sort of figuring out maintenance. I say sort of because after 10 years of maintaining, I'm still now working on figuring it out. I really hope it doesn't take you as long as it did for me, but please just be aware that this is an ongoing process.
I've tried lots of different plans. I'm still experimenting. I always said that after Points Plus, with the change to Smart Points, I just couldn't do WW anymore. Smart Points, with its newer variations of Freestyle and Purple, just didn't work for me. But here I am as of just 2 weeks ago working on Green, and with a tweak, I've been able to stick with it so far. I have no idea why. Maybe I'm just ready to and determined to make it work.
I've got an ITrackBites account too. I used it for a while to do Points Plus (Carb Conscious on there), which was the plan just before Smart Points Beyond the Scale. I just have the free account, not the paid one. cathygeha's post with the different plans and what they were or are on WW is really helpful I think. I don't have FB either. You can find help on the ITrackBites app. Go to the community page, and you'll see circles labeled "Groups" "Meal Plans" etc. Open the one for groups. Look for a group called iTrackBitesResources. People ask all kinds of questions there and you can see the answers. Also look there for posts by the coaches and especially by fromdumpytodiva. She posts lots of helpful information.
Any time I've been off plan with out of control eating - and it's happened many times over the years since I first started WW in 1971 - I always start back very slowly. Sometimes I start by just tracking what I'm eatging without worrying about points limits. Sometimes I start by just eating more vegetables. Sometimes I start just by trying to be aware of if I'm hungry or not, and eating or not eating accordingly. I usually find that just starting out slowly like this gets me more into a mindset of being able to take on more of a plan.
Do you have specific questions about meetings? If you want to try virtual meetings, and there is a local one that you used to go to (or work at), find the studio and there should be information posted about when they have virtual meetings with a link to get into them, with instructions. You can also try doing the same for other studios in your area or in your state, or really for anywhere in the country. You might find some held on Saturdays or Sundays. I don't particularly like the virtual meetings, but I "go" to one once a month just as I would go to an on site studio once a month for maintenance. Just like in-person meetings, you can participate as little or as much as you want to. Let us know if you have other questions.
