I have a writing group meeting this afternoon.
I was able to get my homework assignment done yesterday.

Oh my! It's 5pm and I just realized I haven't posted today.
I've had visitors in and out today and my DD came over and did some light housework for us. She stayed for lunch too. One of my church friends dropped supper off last night so we had leftovers for lunch. It was nice being able to have her over for lunch like usual even if I didn't fix it myself. My DGD didn't come with her because she went to the movies with one of her friends.
My sister in law and her 2 daughters sent me a lovely bouquet of flowers this afternoon. I called and thanked them and then texted them a picture so they could so how pretty they are.
I'll be getting at home PT for the next month. I'm looking forward to getting back to normal and know that even though I'm anxious to get all of this behind me, I need to go slowly so I don't end up going backward.
Joan, I hope you had a wonderful time with your writing group today.
It got up into the 70s this afternoon but the sun disappeared and it looks like we'll be getting some rain soon.

Good morning!
I just finished watching church online. We only had one service this morning because of the ground breaking ceremony directly after it was over. We're getting ready to add a new expansion onto the existing building. It will be completed in about a year and will consist of an indoor soccer field, indoor walking track, indoor playground, coffee shop, new kitchen, and several new meeting rooms. It is a gift to our community and the hope is that the building will be used 7 days a week not only for those who are members of our church but also members of our community.
No plans for today except doing a few things around the house that I'm able do and taking it easy and resting my back.
