Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Going to see ENT this morning, rescheduled from last week. Afterwards I’m heading to favorite restaurant for breakfast. Not sure if they still require masks, but I would sure enjoy seeing my servers smile again.
Did not need to wear a mask all day yesterday. Went to Target, my grocery store, and work. I would say it was 50/50 with mask wearing everywhere. Saw lots of smiling faces, no hassles anywhere, no drama.
Dottie - thanks for letting me know how you use containers. I’m going to checkout what they have at Home Depot. I think a pop of color is going to make a big difference. Hope your on and off sleeping issues go away soon. I feel so drained when I get up too early.
Waving hi to Martha and Ruth.
Enjoy your day

I had a better night of sleep so actually have energy this morning. We are leaving around 10 to go up to the lake. It will be a work day but once some of the setting up is done it makes for a nicer time at the lake. We will bring up some of the food supplies, but nothing that needs refrigeration because I like to clean the refrigerators good and that is easier to do when they are off and empty. That is one of the first things I’ll do this morning is clean the upstairs fridge, plug it in and move it back into place. We also store our outdoor furniture in the house, so that all will be moved out once we clear off the decks. The lake property, like our property at home, has lots of trees so therefore that means lot of small twigs and branches on the decks.
Joyce, I’m sure you will come up with the right plants for your place. I like my planters to be full of flowers, since they aren’t real big it doesn’t take a lot of flowers to fill them up and look nice.
Need to get moving, I’ll check back in when we get home if I’m not too tired. We will just have leftovers for dinner tonight, I know I’ll need something quick and easy.

Good morning everyone. Sorry I didn’t get here yesterday. My days seem to disappear and I don’t get much done! I did make an appointment with my primary physician for next Monday to figure out why I am fatigued so easily and full of body aches and short of breath. Part of the issue of not getting enough done is how I feel. I can’t do anything w/o heart rate rising and back hurting and just not feeling well.
Joy, are you enjoying your new car? Stan is watching Price is Right and they gave away an EcoSport. Was telling him about yours. I’m always amazed you are able to plant real flowers on your parents graves. Do the caretakers just mow around them? Who does the trimming? We can only put flowers in vases and then they are taken off about a week after the big holidays. Very different standards. We need to get someone to put flowers on all our parents grave sites. DMIL is buried with DFIL (she was cremated, he was not); my parents are buried side by side. DS Carol had her DMIL putting flowers on our parents graves; but she won’t do that anymore.
Dottie, enjoy your day at the lake. Sounds like a work day for sure. But will be great to have it ready to enjoy for the coming holidays and summer days.
Waving to Martha! Enjoy your massage. I missed one and then didn’t get one scheduled as I usually do; so she is booked out a month. I now have 2 booked, but it’s a while before the 1st one.
I think we are picking up Mara either late today or early tomorrow for the weekend. DS said she wasn’t feeling well yesterday, so want to know how she is before we take her. I don’t want whatever she had! We are all still wearing masks in public and not eating in restaurants because we are trying to protect Mara. She won’t be vaccinated until winter by the sounds, so none of us want to take a chance on getting covid and giving it to her.
Ok, need to get going and get a few things done. Dishwasher is running. When it’s finished I’m going to wash bathroom rugs and the steam mop covers. I did our beds the last couple days so we have clean sheets. Have a great day all. Going to watch hockey tonight too. Praying for a win!!!

Ruth, I hope you can find out some answers to why you are having the medical problems. I agree that you shouldn't take Mara if she isn't feeling well, you and Stan don't need to get whatever she has.
It was a work day at the lake but we did accomplish a lot. Both Bill and I are very tired and plan on watching a little TV this evening and getting to bed a little earlier than sometimes. Thank goodness there were leftovers because I was way too tired to fix anything.
Hope everyone has a good evening, I'm signing off now.
