Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Martha - thanks for giving me ideas or meals next week. I will probably make sauce tonight, I can use with meatballs or chicken. And tacos sound good too. Getting a new furnace and hot water heater - that sounds like me last year.
Ruth - nice that you were able to find things for Mara at garage sale, especially the tennis shoes.
Dottie - I am so enjoying the cool nights, but like you I would try to warm up the bathroom in the morning.
Heading to work soon. Not getting in any new cars lately, the front lot looks so empty. I have scanning to keep me busy for a while. Looks like it might rain today, we need it.

Joyce, did you get rain today? If you have any leftover send it my way. The weather is beautiful but we really need rain. At least you will have something to do today even if no new cars are coming in. Is the inventory low because so many people are buying cars?
Waving to Ruth and Martha, hope you are both having a good day.
Bill and I went early to a farm stand/plant place this morning and it was packed. I found some new plants for several of my flower boxes. I like to put impatiens in but they are hard to find this year so I’ll see how the new plants go. I have planted about ½ of the new plants and will finish the rest later this afternoon. I just found out that one of my friends from St. Louis slipped in her bathroom and fractured her ankle in 3 places. She is a very active person, runs 5k races and even has done several marathons. Being inactive will be hard on her. It doesn’t take much for an injury like that to happen when we reach a certain age.

No rain yet, but it’s been overcast all day. It’s been quite comfortable, but I miss the sun.
Was a good day. Sold quite a few new and used cars. There are so few new cars on the lot because of the global chip shortage. Ford is only producing half of the vehicles they usually do. Hoping things get better by the end of the year. And again, I’m so glad they were able to get my Ecosport. The Ecosport is probably the only vehicle that is somewhat available.
Dottie - sorry to hear about your friend. I try to be careful especially when I take the stairs. Hope she heals quickly.
Putting my grocery list together for tomorrow. See ya ...

Late fly thru. . . . Went over to Uncles. They were in process of moving to a one level house. Then spent a couple hours helping my cousins getting stuff sorted for a yard sell. I asked and got fresh rhubarb and some rhubarb plants. I'll chop & freeze the fresh stuff. The plants will be planted in buckets, since it spreads out.
Oregon is going thru a drought, more so in Southern OR.
It's time to clean up the kitchen and toddle off to bed.
Hugs to all~

Joyce, I’m glad to hear there were sales at the dealership today. That’s great that you were able to get your Ecosport when you wanted it. I’m sure you are still enjoying it.
Martha, that is nice that you could help your cousins with prepping for the yard sale. I’m not sure I ever had rhubarb before, sounds like you will be able to enjoy it in the future if you are growing it. I know California is already having some fires so I’m sure they are in a drought situation also.
I’m sure Ruth is busy with Mara. Hopefully it is a nice weekend so they can get outside and play, always good for little ones to be outside. It is warm here today but not very humid. I need to do a little in my garden, especially water everything again. Between the warm days and wind the garden dries out very quickly. We could use some rain here but none is predicted till Frida. Hope we get some but not all day rain for the Memorial day weekend. I have my L finished, till tomorrow or Tuesday at least. I made a batch of spaghetti sauce this morning, it came out good. I will freeze part of it and use the rest for dinner one night this week.

Good afternoon,
It’s been trying to rain all day, but all that’s happening are a few drizzles.
Went to church this morning, first time there was a full choir since Covid. They sounded great. I never realized how much they added to the mass. It was wonderful to join in the singing.
Just doing a couple loads of laundry today. I binge watched the final season of Mom yesterday and today. I don’t know why they ended it, such a fun show with so much to offer. Oh well.
Hope everyone is enjoying the day ... see ya tomorrow

Good evening all. Sorry I didn’t get here yesterday. We ended up with Harper & Sawyer yesterday until mid-day today! So we were really really busy. Got them outside yesterday and again today and then Mara outside again after her nap after they left. 3 kiddos is too much. Going to see if we can make other arrangements for one of the big girls.
Watched a dreadful hockey game last night. Wild are down 3-1 in the series.
Looking forward to my doctor appointment tomorrow afternoon to hopefully get some answers. Find out if it’s physical, mental, weight, or something else or a combination of things! I expect she’ll order some blood work or other tests and go from there.
We’ll either take Mara home in the morning or after nap after my appt. Not sure when we’ll have her next. Haven’t checked her mom’s work schedule yet. I can’t believe Memorial Day is a week from tomorrow. Where has the first part of this year gone??
Have to get the rest of the clothes sorted this evening and in the morning. I have a lot of them sorted out to send home with Mara and an idea of what I want to keep; but a lot is still 3T and she’s moving slowly into 4’s.
Want to get busy downstairs too. Stan is talking about moving some fencing in the back yard and possibly building a dog kennel/run; and then a floating wooden deck for the back yard. $$ will be the determining factor. I want to have the family room down there cleaned up and ready for new flooring. One step at a time.
Joy, so happy you got back to church and enjoyed the choir. Dottie your plants sound wonderful. Martha, have a good work week.
Going to get Mara ready for bed. She had an early nap after being outside and she’s going to have an earlier bedtime tonight.
More tomorrow!
