Welcome to the Clutter Patrol, formerly CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Hi everyone,
A load of darks in the dryer. Towels and PJs in the next load.
Went grocery shopping. Picked up some frozen Tyson chicken that was cooked in an air fryer, 75% less fat than original. Hoping it’s good. Nice to have as a convenience food in the freezer.
Also got strawberries, blueberries, cool whip lite, individual ice cream cups (portion control) and vanilla Greek yogurt.
Contacted dietician office to see about scheduling an appointment. Left message, should be called back within 24 hours. According to the website they are meeting face to face starting next week. So much better than Zoom.
Filled tank with gas, didn’t really need it but I’m sure prices will be up later this week. Guy in car next to mine came over and told me he really liked the color of my Ecosport. Then he asked if I liked the car itself. I sounded like a sales guy for a minute 😂. He was also impressed with it having 4WD. A fun moment.
Nothing much else going on. Still no real rain, next possibility is Wednesday.
Enjoy your day

Good late morning all. Finally getting here before lunch or bedtime! 🤣🤣.
Got Mara up and after her milk she got a bath and her hair washed. Really hard on DS’s back to give her a bath so if I can help with that one day, so much the better. Got her hair brushed and up off her face! Will take her home after my doctor appt. this afternoon. With any luck, she’ll take a nap for Stan while I’m gone.
I need to sort out the rest of the clothing I’m sending home with her. I got a lot of outfits put together and need to do a few more. Funny how sizes are so different. 3T Carter’s are too small on her; 3T Cat & Jack (Target brand) fit her great! It would all fit her better if she were out of diapers. No real progress on that yet either!
Joy, that is fun when people ask you about your car! Stan ran into someone with an Ascent getting gas at Costco right after we got ours. They were comparing notes about what they liked, what they didn’t like, etc. They both mostly loved it. Yours really stands out with that bright sunny yellow!
Dottie, anything opening up housing wise? Things are so tight here.
Martha, hope the installation goes well for both. We may need those sooner rather than later. Ours are going on 21 years of use in August.
Ok, going to get lunch and do a few things before I have to leave. I’ll report in after my appt and after we take Mara hone. Possibly during the Wild game tonight. Have a great day all.

Joyce, sounds like you are having a busy morning. I keep some frozen foods in the freezer for when I’m not in the mood for cooking. Hope you hear back from the dietician quickly. Good idea to get gas before the holiday weekend. Prices have gone down a few cents here since last week.
Martha, hope everything goes okay with the installation of the new furnace and water heater. Sounds like a big job.
Ruth, I hope you can find out something from the doctor today, but I think until the results of the blood tests come in they won’t know much. Keep us posted please. I agree 3 kids get a lot to watch. I’m sure if Mara was around other kids her age she would potty train quickly just by watching the other kids use the bathroom. About the only time we watch our 3 grands is when DS and DDIL go away for their anniversary. The kids aren’t bad and Bill helps keep them busy also but it is very tiring. They also want to be on their electronics a lot which is something that mom and dad set a time limit on. The dog run and deck sound nice but I would want the family room flooring first if it was my place. Bill is still in the process of fixing things, not that there was a lot to be fixed but he is slow at times. On Saturday when I ran the dishwasher water was coming up from the drain into the sink. Bill was able to figure it out but between getting that cleaned out and then restarting the dishwasher the project took almost 90 minutes. Always something.
Nothing new in the housing market for us. I think even Bill is ready to wait till next year if necessary. We are both tracking what some of the ones in the places we like are selling for. In most cases they sell for above asking price. When (and if) we list our house there is a four page report we have to complete on our house. It includes dates (if known) when roof, hot water heater, boiler, garage door opener, appliances were installed, and some other questions. We keep good records so we know the dates. We know the roof was put on in 1992 so it will be 30 years old when we sell. I’m sure the buyer will use that as a negotiating tool. Of course we have to find a place before our house can be listed.

three guys got both jobs completed today. Since I am used to being by myself, it was quite noisy.
Off to fix dinner
