Christmas Eve Greetings chicks and thank you for the start Karen.
Stopping in also to wish everyone a safe, blessed and wonderful Hanukah or Christmas this weekend. It is nasty here this morning with a bit of sleet covering the sidewalk and road while it continues to spritz rain. We will be leaving in a couple hours for DS's house and need to pack the car and get ready.
Karen - warm wishes to you and Dale for a quiet weekend with some sleep and naps; and healing wishes for miss Phoebe who is in our prayers.
Chele - have a safe and lovely weekend, best wishes to you, Iggy and his Tinyness for the blessings of this holiday. May it be safe and warm.
Kathy - enjoy your weekend and those warm temps. Hope your dinners are delicious and sending you joy and blessings for Christmas as well.
Linda - sincere wishes to you and Bob for a safe and joyful holiday weekend. Thank you for your recipe and hope Micki has fun unwrapping presents .
Becky - hope you are feeling better with your tummy and sending good wishes to you, Kenneth, Kit Kat and Scooter for all the joy and blessings of Christmas!
Thank you all for your support and ever present kindness and encouragement! May the spirit of this holiday weekend bring you peace and happy moments with family and friends! Ciao for now!

I echo Chele's healing thoughts. I know I could use some. Headache is improving. We did have a marginally better night last night. She had all her pills at breakfast but has only taken naps since. If I took the dosage she had of pain pills and benadryl, I would have been unconscious half an hour after I ate. But not this dog. Usually on a rainy day like today, she sleeps most of the day. Must be one of those days when one thing is counteracting the other and she is wide awake.
Thank you for the warm wishes, Liz, and safe travels to you, Gary, and the Puggles. I hope you enjoy the family time.
Linda, enjoy your time with family as well. And thanks for the recipe. I already have the potatoes and probably the rest of the ingredients.
Sounds like a typical Central Texas Christmas, Becky. Enjoy your wonderful weather. after the fog breaks, and your Christmas Eve Service tonight.
Kathy, when will your family celebrate? Will it be at your mom's? Are your NSB relatives going to join you? Going to NSB for Christmas wouldn't be bad.
Echoing Liz's comment about support, kindness, and encouragement. I am in touch with this group more than I am most friends or family and for good reason.
I hope you all enjoy your holidays.

Karen, sending healing thoughts your way. I'm heading to my Mom's tonight and DS's tomorrow. We just have the immediate family on Christmas Eve and DS has us and BIL's side on Christmas Day. The NSB relatives are all doing their own thing. Some are traveling and some have relatives coming there. You and Liz are right on the support, kindness, and encouragement from this group and it's much appreciated!

Kathy,It did get warm here today.Enjoy your Christmas with family.Drive safely.
Karen,Sending healing vibes your way for you and Phoebe. When I take a Benadryl just by itself I'm out.We don't have a Christmas Eve service but I sure miss them. Our church service is at 9 AM Christmas morning instead of our usual time of 11 AM so everyone can spend extra time with family.I hope you,Dale and Phoebe can have a nice Christmas.
We went to WM this afternoon. Was it ever crowded and people are just plain rude this time of year and that was just in the food aisles. They were friendlier and less rude in other parts of the store.
We are watching the news and then will eat dinner and open our surprises from each other later. My mom always had Christmas Eve at her house so I just continued that tradition with Kenneth.

Thanks! Everyone have a wonderful holiday.
that California storm that blew in here was a strong. My migraine and I beat the rain over to brother's house, where his daughter and her three kids, three dogs and spouse were staying. The son and family from Cal arrived late in the storm. The other two dons and families were already there one with dog. 8 kids and seven dogs ...20 people with friends coming later. Kind of chaotic. After we ate, I left to get home before it started raining again and got dark early. Blissfully quiet at home.

Merry Christmas 🎁 Everyone. I am so glad to be connected with you all.
Linda, nice picture. I am glad you got home before the rain and could relax after the noose. That is a lot of people and animals in one house. I hope the migraine is gone.
Becky, I hope you enjoy the Christmas service this morning. My New York family did Christmas Eve presents, but my mother continued her family tradition of Christmas morning.
Liz, I hope you had a safe trip to DS. Enjoy the family.
Kathy, I hope you enjoyed last evening's festivities and have fun today.
Karen, I hope your head is better and that you, Dale and Phoebe got some sleep. I hate hearing about Phoebe's yelps. I hope it was better last night. Gentle hugs for you and Phoebe.
It must be migraine weather all over, I woke up yesterday and today with a headache. I am hoping today's will go away without medication. Dinner with friends last night was very nice. We went to a seafood restaurant and it was very good. Today Iggy and I will open presents, talk to family and relax.

Merry Christmas Chicks.I hope everyone had a great day.I am also very glad to be connected to everyone here.
Chele,The Christmas was very unique and we did enjoy it.I woke up with a bad headache this morning also.Actually I went to sleep with it last night after taking Aleve PM and woke up with the same h/a.My tummy has also been on the fritz today.I don't think I ate anything I shouldn't have but I don't feel all that well either.I'm glad you enjoyed dinner last night and I hope both you and Iggy enjoyed a nice relaxing day.
Linda,Nice picture. That was a lot of people and dogs in one place.
Karen,I hope your headache is better and you,Dale and Phoebe were able to get some rest and enjoy the day.
Kathy and Liz,I hope you enjoyed your celebrations as well.
We had a nice visit with another couple and exchanged gifts with them.It was an enjoyable afternoon followed by a walk.
