Sharon, We had SHEET PAN CHOW MEIN for dinner tonight. This was strictly vegetarian and Mike loved it (which is surprising because he is not fond of vegetarian dinners). I thought it was a bit salty but still pretty good. I will post the recipe on Friday.

Hello to all. Today was mass, dogs put together a strawberry shortcake for Beth's brthday, run to cake to Margaret's house, home to grab gift and meet the other four for lunch at BonFire. After lunch we went to Margaret's for cake and champagne. Came home, fell asleep, woke and went to mass for Sunday. Not I'm done and have tomorrow all to myself. I will sew some.
I put roasted brussel sprouts and carrots in the oven along with a few almost fat free Hebrew National that I cut into thirds. This will be my dinner and lunch or dinner tomorrow. I plan on doing some cutting of a jumper (pants) tonight. I made the pattern weeks ago and have done nothing with it.
It was in the 90s and humid today, felt like 100+. I think change is comming with a storm front tonight.
I have decided to put Vince's dog up for adoption for another senior. I feel guilty that I am gone so much and she is used to being with her person. Also is either can't or is afraid of my steps from the back porch so I have to carry her out to the yard. When I'm not here she just goes on the deck. Not much to clean up, but I think she will be better with more of a home body. It was a tough decision and I keep second guessing myself - but I know it is for the best.
Vicki so sorry about your kitty. Been there many times and it is never easy. They are an important part of our family.
Jane you have a right to inguire about the kids. I would be annoyed if they stopped me from doing my "thing". You can ask in a very sweet way and not upset anyone, but get the answers that you deserve.

Good evening all
Jane, I would have asked if it was possible to move their lesson to another area so that you could safely access the pool. On occasion when unsupervised kids are at the pool, I block out my territory with them so no one’s jumping on my head.
Ruth, the Sheet Pan Chow Mein sounds interesting.
Sandy, glad there are some answers for Fred pending his next appointments. Such a shame that you won’t get your money. Very strange.
Gail, in the long run DD will be very happy there and as you mentioned, there will be less financial stress.
Karen E, good luck with the Angel Food Cake. They’re $5.00 for a Bundy style one here. I’d be tempted to just buy it.
Sharon, I had a similar lunch. Cooked pasta w steamed brocolli.
Geri, that’s very thoughtful to consider the dog being alone. I’m sure that your friend would prefer that the dog has company throughout the day
Busy day. DGD wanted me to take her to her swim lesson. Went well. Home for lunch and then a trip to the library and the farm for ice cream (for DGD)
Sadly, after swim DGDs lollipop that she had just received from the instructor fell in the toilet at the pool. Big disappointment but we were able to carry on with our day and enjoy some ice cream instead. We rounded off the day with a visit to the library. Our fav. Place.
I’m falling asleep! Lack of sleep is catching up
Marlo
